2 months, still no refund !

"Purchased Indians tickets back in May, 2021 via Stubhub and the game was canceled due to storms. Stubhub has yet to issue a refund and 1 month ago they said refunds usually take 2 months. Never again will I be using these scammers and I’m still out $250 !! "

TERRIBLE SERVICE

"PURCHASED TICKETS FOR 200 DOLLARS, GOT TO THE EVENT AND THE TICKETS WERE NOT ON THE APP LIKE I WAS TOLD. TRIED TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THERE WAS A 3 HOUR WAIT, EVENT WAS STARTING SO I HAD TO PURCHASE MORE TICKETS. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE THE NEXT DAY AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO"

Horrible Customer Service

"Can't get a person on the phone. Anytime you call they say they have a wait of approximately three hours. Have concerns about a current order and have sent emails through the StubHub site. ZERO response. Moving forward I will purchase tickets on sites that can be trusted. "

Good, until the pandemic

"I had bought and sold with StubHub a handful of times pre-pandemic and never had a problem. However, I sold paper tickets to two sporting events in March that ended up being cancelled. I never got paid, and never got the tickets back. Calling their customer "service" does nothing. You will not win any dispute. If I would have held on to the tickets, I could have gone to the box office for a full refund. "

"0 stars - customer service is based out of India and they take about a full day to call you back. When you bring up ANYTHING in regards to extra charges/fees (I literally asked one question) they are then trained to put down the phone and walk away. Stayed on the phone for another 20 minutes until they finally hung up on me. The app is trash, the company's trash, use vivid seats or another more reliable company. Not worth the hassle."

Bad Service

"Try to get refund for a Elton John concert that was reschedule in Greensboro NC. All they want to do is, get you to sell them. The other concert in Greensboro gave refund. This is the only website that didn't give me a refund. The other concerts reschedule but they still gave you the option to get refund. No buying from this site again."

Took Money From My Account With No Explanation

"My bank account was debited $231.88, with no notification from StubHub, nor any emails invoicing the amount. I spoke with customer service last night, and the agent flat-out refused to connect me with a manager because she said they would tell me nothing different than what she said. This is highly unacceptable. I have also lodged a complaint with the BBB, filed a dispute with my bank, and am seeking legal advice on the matter. What kind of business takes money from your account when there was no ticket order or any other sale? What kind of business then refuses to speak with you about the matter and refuses to allow you to speak with a manager or anyone who does not read from a support script? This is a horrendous company with which I will never do business again."

Horrendous Customer Service

"SELLER BEWARE!
The following is based on my negative experience with #StubHub. My negative experience with #StubHub will hopefully keep you from loosing money as I did. Before you use #StubHub app know two things, you’re agreeing to a whole lot of stuff you don’t know you’re agreeing to, and secondly you will not win an argument with them. They have horrendous customer service, and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB regarding my negative experience with them. On Saturday Feb 6 we had tickets to Lee Brice at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth Texas. Due to circumstances beyond our control we would be unable to go to attend the concert. So my wife put the two tickets up for sale on StubHubs app. After a few minutes she checked the app to see if the tickets were there, and if anyone had purchased them, Lee Brice was sold out that night. The tickets were not there, they weren’t anywhere on StubHubs app. So, doing what any normal person would do, she reposted them again. She got an email confirmation from StubHub staying the tickets were listed, approximately 11 minutes later StubHub emailed her stating the tickets had been sold etc. The email confirmations from there were in regards to the sale, and the transfer of the tickets. Done, not so fast! Unbeknownst to us, the original tickets did post, however there was no email confirmation, and remind you the tickets were not on the app anywhere. Approximately two and half hours later she received another email from StubHub saying the tickets needed to transferred etc. Puzzled by this email,, she found out that the original tickets did post, it was glitch in their system, StubHub says there was not, and now we were on the hook for two additional tickets to sale to Lee Brice. This is where the customer service, and morals of #StubHub come into play, in my opinion based on my dealings with them. She contacted StubHub immediately because of the issue. She spoke to the first customer service rep and explained the situation, we were told basically there was nothing that could be done, we posted the tickets and we must produce them, or be held financially responsible for the tickets not being available. StubHub stated that the email confirmations or any other correspondence from them was complimentary and not guaranteed. I find this odd because we received emails for the other transaction regarding the ticket sales, but none for this first set that never showed up. After repeated attempts with #StubHub customer service, they agreed to remove the original tickets etc. Hold your horses, it’s not over with. Several minutes after they removed the listing and she was off the phone with them, you guessed it, we got an email stating that we were unable to sell the tickets and now would be held accountable for an additional $300 dollars, which they charged to our card. So now we’re to the end, after three days and repeated attempts. #StubHub states there was no issue with the first post, even though the posts never showed up on the app, their emails regarding your sell or purchase of tickets are merely complementary, and should not be used as confirmation, even though that’s what the email says “confirmation.” We are now disputing these charges with our bank. Since we’ve gone that option the great #StubHub will freeze our account and we will most likely loose the money we paid for our original tickets.
Remember SELLER BEWARE! I will no longer be using #StubHub, and hope you won’t either.

Buyer Beware

"Purchased tickets in January 2020 for an event scheduled for March 2020, because of the Coronavirus outbreak the event was canceled. It is now August 2020 and I have yet to receive my refund. I paid for the event, it never took place, why do I have to wait going on six months now to receive a refund???? To this point I have received nothing more than excuses. Will never buy from this company again. "

These people are thieves

"I bought 2 tickets for over $3000 to a final tour event with their "Fanprotect" guarantee. We are not event goers. Event was cancelled. They refuse to refund cash, they will only issue a coupon that expires end of 2021. They changed their refund policy AFTER I bought the tickets and made it retroactive to any event that was cancelled. They are basically extorting me and forcing me to apply my money to a future event. So if I don't want to attend an event in the future, I just lose my money. How is this legal? There are a few states that have laws to protect consumers from this type of abuse (14 I think) but the rest of us are just out of luck. Do not use this company. Obviously they feel they can change their policies at any time they want to line their coffers. I tried getting resolution on their community page (you can't get through on the phone) and just kept getting told "This is our policy." If you disagree in any way on their community page they just delete your comments and eventually ban you from the site. There is a class action lawsuit that I hope gets justice for all of us affected. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!"

DO NOT BUY THROUGH STUBHUB

"It is criminal the way stub hub has handled the refund of postponed shows during the pandemic. I paid $3,300 for two tickets to The Eagles originally scheduled for April 26, 2020 in Phoenix. They postponed the show to October of 2020, then postponed the show again to September of 2021. StubHub claims they bought my tickets from an individual when in fact the bought the tickets from the concert promoter as they were advertising entire rows and sections available for sale. They now insist on keeping my money for nearly 2 years and are only willing to allow me to re-list my tickets for sale in competition with their own tickets WHEN tickets go back on sale again. I protested this to American Express and they took StubHubs position. I wouldn’t do another ounce of business with either StubHub or American Express. DO NOT BUY THROUGH STUBHUB!"

Bad Stub Hub Experience. Would rate as zero stars if I could.

"I purchased tickets for the 7/4/2020 James Taylor concert at Tanglewood through StubHub. Due to COVID, this concert got cancelled and rescheduled for 7/4/2021. My tickets were supposed to be delivered by mail on July 1,2020 3 days before the original concert date. Clearly this involved paper tickets, since the delivery was by regular mail. The tickets did not arrive as scheduled. When I called StubHub they told me that since the concert was postponed for a year they postponed the ticket delivery date by a year. When I asked why they could not just send me the tickets, they claimed that they don't have them because the original buyer purchased them through Ticketmaster and that Ticketmaster has not released them yet, again due to the postponement. Maybe this is true, but I'm skeptical. I don't know if I can attend the concert next year. Stub Hub's response to that was that I can resell the tickets on Stub Hub, but if I had the physical tickets I would trade them in for a credit toward other BSO events that I can attend. This was my first and last time using StubHub."

Never again

"Purchased ticket to local concert that was canceled. I never received the ticket as promised and never received requested a refund as requested. Stub Hub customer guarantee is that you will get taken for hundreds of dollars. They have issued me a coupon for 120% of the cash they took from me. I have learned to never trust Stub Hub, as they do not provide the service they charge for.
