"Poor follow up with warranty of parts/service. We purchased a pool heater, Pentair 250 Natural gas 05/20/2011 and not even a year later it failed. We couldn't get them to assist us with the 2 year warranty claim and Pentair didn't want to pay as well claiming the failure was due to the chemicals. Yet who doesn't use chlorine in their pool? We basically paid over $1,500 to use this heater for 4 months. Neither the manufacturer nor Star Pool assisted us with help. Total failure to a product that failed us and a company who was of NO HELP!"

"Ordered a "valve diverter with knob" received promptly; however, packaged poorly and missing the knob which I didn't need for my setup. I discovered that I ordered the wrong diverter, worked with customer service to try to get the correct part; however after 2 weeks of attempts its just not worth the time or aggrevation. Their customer service is obviously overwhelmed, I initially felt they were trying to be helpful but I'm guessing my small order wasn't worth their effort. I won't be going back to Star-Pool."
