"I placed an order for a few items from staples and staples accepted a coupon and the order was confirmed. I received an email confirming the order. When I went to pick up the order, I was unexpectly told the order was cancelled because the coupon is invalid. I can understand if a coupon is invalid, however, I at least expected staples to notify me so I do not have to actually go to the store and waste my time. I contacted staples and they admitted no fault. The only thing I asked for is for free shipping on a future purchase to compensate for my wasted trip to the store and it was no honored. I no longer believe any of my future order with staples my go through. Staples may cancel customer's order without any notification."

"Horrible customer service. There was a price error, so I get an email the NEXT DAY canceling my order. I did get the "opportunity" to purchase this item at regular price. They didn't read the email I sent and would not help via phone. I don't understand how this company is still in business with customer service like this."

"BUYERS BEWARE!!! Do not purchase from Staples, I purchased a laptop in 2008 and purchased a 2 year extended warranty. I am not getting any assistance with a replacement. I am being advised that the warranty starts at the date of purchase. When I was given this warranty I was told it was a 2 year after manufacturer warranty. I am now being told "I was mis-informed" by the extended warranty company. When I tried working with Staples, I was advised "this is a he said-she said issue". When I advised the company were I work and how well we take care of our customers even when our extended warranty company would not, she then started putting down my company. My company has WAY higher ratings in customer service and we would never put down another company as we do not need to (very unprofessional, that SUPERVISOR should be fired). I just wanted my laptop repaired or replaced, I have had nothing but issues. I have now taken a loss on over $1300 and have no computer for school. Thanks for nothing I will be filing a BBB complaint about this issue, by far the worst company and customer service department I have ever had to deal with!!"

"i ordered a laptop from staples for my home business. the price was great for such a featured packed laptop. it was also delivered in a timely manner.
i was just a little disappointed because i asked them to have it delivered to a local store where i would pick it up, but instead it came to my house and sat on my porch in the sun all day before anyone came home to notice. it worked all right, but it could have gotten damaged or stolen!
They did apologize, and i guess it was just a mistake and it won't stop me from buying from them again.

"Their website was extremely user friendly and I found what I needed very quickly. Their shipping was fast and I got a tracking number within 24hrs. They took a staples coupon for even more savings. Items arrived just as advertised and packed well. They did a very good job on my order."

"Staples is pretty much the only remaining Brick & Mortar store I will go to. They consistently have the best prices, best selection and exceptional customer service. In store employees are always helpful, but not intrusive and they are consistent with their consumer friendly and ethnically balances policy's. They will never say one thing and deliver something else. They won't up sell you on useless crap. In this unfortunate time where their competition goes to lower and more predatory practices to make money; I know I can count on Staples to be fair. Take for example their handling of rebate. They don't take the industry standard of smoke and mirrors creating illusive advertised low prices. With staples easy rebates, with just minimal effort on your part you get what is advertised. It is nice to see that a company still embraces the notion of customer relations driving business still. Other stores take notes or you'll too be in the systemax book."

"Staples bought out Corporate Express (CE); CE had VERY good customer service, prompt delivery, ease of picking up "will call" items, etc. We were out of black toner, so I called in my order before 8 a.m. to the now STAPLES number, ordered all the toners for the printer, and told them I would have to pick it up due to immediate need. I was told to wait for a phone call saying when my order would be ready for pick up; I got a call that it would be ready at 10:30. I drove to the now STAPLES processing center less than 2 miles from the office. Front of the bldg (reception area) is locked up and lights out, with a sign that said to "pick up will calls at Dock 17." I drove around the bldg, parking and knocking on locked doors...finally one opened to me. I was told to go to the other side of the bldg; when I opened the door to leave, a deafening siren sounded...their SECURITY! You have to swipe a card to enter or leave, or even go to the restroom (I was told)! The other side of the bldg has a secure gate and a door with an awning that was unlit and dark. A truck was going through the gate, so I walked in, too. The woman who helped me listened patiently as I expressed my opinion of STAPLES ridiculous security and TOTAL lack of concern for their customer's time and/or convenience. DO NOT BUY FROM STAPLES! PCCDepot.com has MUCH better prices. A nice facility with a beautiful unused reception area where I previously sat in a nice chair and waited for my urgent order to be brought to me. Boo Staples!"

"After being subjected to direct misogyny and having my intelligence insulted at best buy, I hopped to the Staples in the next town over. The computers associate was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire transaction. He showed me the linux/windows compatible drives, got me the extra accessories I was looking for then had me checked out very quickly. When I found out I bought the wrong kind of drive on accident (because of something I said incorrectly, not the associate), I called best buy (since it is closer to my house) for the part to make it work. Best buy told me my part did not EXIST. I called Staples and they said they'd happily order the proper hard drive (they didn't have it in stock) or the piece I was looking for (rare, weird piece, also not in stock). Unfortunately they were about to close so I'll have to call back tomorrow and have Staples order my part and several hundred dollars of other parts too. Awesome service like that makes repeat customers :)"

"Staples rocks! I can't understand how or why anybody would be unhappy. If ur unhappy with staples, then ur just an unhappy person. I have ordered over 100x from this site and I have had the best shopping experience ever. I m picky. I want my products fast and unbroken. The fact that I m taking the time to rate this store and another means a lot about the stores. Staples has the best return policy and the fastest shipping. "
