"Customer service is verly lacking at this merchant. They would not ship to my location, and Jessica offered no explanation why, even after requesting an explanation. When I inquired why, they just refunded my money. No way to treat a customer."

"This company recommends products that they have no idea how they work. They have no interest in working to solve problems. I bought a Nuuo NVR which did not work, Nuuo would not help me because I am an end-user, referred me back to Spytown, who could not support the product. I spent almost 2k with this company and they treated me poorly and would not stand behind what they sold. There are better retailers out there."

"Jessica sent me an email saying that a camera I ordered would not work with the lens that I ordered. It happens I also ordered another different camera and only one lens. They could have thought the order was for parts and would not be used with that camera, but she didn't want me to have to return the lens or camera. I think that is great customer service. The camera that will work with that lens was the same except for a few more numbers at the end of the model number. Thank you Jessica any time you can save a hassle it is time saved.

"Spytown has the worst customer support ever. Jessica seems to be very unhappy all day long. They might have good prices but you better hope it all works out because if you have to call with any issue you will lose your mind when they dont answer the phone or when jessica finally gets on she will make it the last time you deal with them."

"I've purchased from Spytown at least a dozen times and never had any issues. They ship the products quickly and everything I've ordered has been exactly as specified on their site. I'm a contractor, so I've never needed any technical help, but if you know what you want, I really feel that Spytown is a good choice."

"For the love of money, if you can read this I'd exert extreme caution in doing business with these guys.

Ever get that feeling when you placed an order where you just know you got screwed somehow, given the relative cheap price... well that I how feel.

Ordered the items... about 1k worth of stuff, shipping address had a slight error. Called asap to correct it... the RUDEST most APATHETIC lady I've ever spoken with answered and was just like, ah oh yeah, send an email, bap' thats it.

I figured, ok, I can live with the rude attitude so long as I get my items, I really don't care.

Two days later, status still says pending review. Decide to call in, again, the RUDE (oh how I wanna curse) lady answers and in a very APATHETIC tone says "uhh, we cant ship to the address provided" again, bap' thats it. No nada, point blank. At this point I'm turning red as the money was INSTANTLY deducted from my credit card. Told her to go ahead and cancel the order. Her response, in a very cheerful voice, "ok", she hangs up.

I will never in 10 Million years order from these guys. Not even if their prices are 30% cheaper than competitors. Funny that they just lost at least $15k in potential sales from me.

Up to this point I've been real civil but rest assured if I see no progress in either refunding my money or sorting whatever out I WILL TAKE WHATEVER ACTION NECESSARY.

Some companies fail to realize exactly who they are screwing over. Not everyone will bend over and take it up the backside.

"I had placed an order before with SpyTown and it took weeks before they even shipped the order and I felt then it was only because I kept on them to find out if the order had shipped. So I thought maybe it was a one time problem which everybody has now and then so I have now placed another order with SpyTown and have no info on the order so I called and sent emails and still dont have a status update or even if the order has shipped. Well it appears that they have little to no customer service and don't ship until you push. They will however bill your credit card and take your money the same day with no problem."

"I would not buy from this company again. I had bought a security cam and didn't know the power supply did not come with it. Also when I tried to plug in the camera to my BNC connector on the back of my capture card, I learned that I also needed a male-to-male adapter. I went online and tried to order the two items but was not able to because I had to have a minimum of $19 to place an order. When I called a representative to make an exception he said there was nothing he could do. He then told me to go to a link and fax in a order form but the link wasn't working. The company is already charging for shipping, why does it make a difference if the order is $19 for something I had purchased from their company. This company is nothing special. I've learned never to waste time and especially money on companies that worry more about a few extra dollars than keeping a customer content."

" have purchased from Spytown on several occasions and have nothing but good to say. After placing several orders for the same item, I recently had another order arrive (always in a matter of days) in which the manufacturer had made a VERY MINOR change to the internal construction of the device. Note that this change did nothing to the sales specs or ability of the camera, and 99.99 percent of the users would not know or even care but to my very special application, it was important. I contacted the manufacturer and found that the other version was still available. I emailed Jessica and within an hour of my email, she had called me to work out what it is that I needed. Jessica made several calls to me and the manufacturer and within a few hours of my email, the problem was corrected and I had the items shipping overnight!

Please note that as a reseller, Spytown had NO idea that this change had been made and in fact the tech rep at the factory was shocked that I could tell. My use is well beyond the normal persons and this change makes a big difference to me and ultimately my client! Spy town could have easily said that the product that they sold met the exact specs that it had given and they would be correct. Spytown could have put this on the back burner and called me the next day. Spytown was in no way required to worry about this as it had fulfilled it's requirement completely in this sale.

Jessica went out of her way to understand what I needed, contact the factory and facilitate the quick processing required to give me peace of mind. I will not hesitate to make my future purchases through Spytown. Kuddos to them!

"Do not buy anything from this merchant. They sit on orders for more then 48 hours when there is an issue and then they don't contact the customer to inform them of the issue. I called to get an update on my order. Jessica the rude agent I spoke with, first lied to me and told me that the order was sent to the warehouse for processing then puts me on hold for 10 minutes only to come back and tell some BS excuse that they can't ship to an address that's different than the billing address unless the customer is a business. This person was sent an e-mail the day before regarding an update on the order and she never bothered to reply to the e-mail. What a joke of a reseller. I canceled the order I can get the stuff from other resellers with a better Customer Service policy. "

"The worst online merchant I have ever dealt with. I order from online merchants all the time. With this merchant there is no responses to emails and no order updates and I could not find a place to cancel my order either. Over two weeks have passed since I ordered the merchandise.

"I tried to order 10 RFID cards from Spytown because they had the lowest price. Two weeks later, no information about my order. I called and called but either got full voice boxes or long hold times.

After reading reviews on this website, I found extension 425 listed. I called this lady and she was very rude. After 10 minutes I finally got my order status. (Apparently they are very busy) Too bad I can only order in quantities of 100, which was not listed on the website.

So I proceeded to ask to cancel the order. She says I can only do this from the website, which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I ended my call with her and guessed extensions. 424 was a nice gentleman. I asked to cancel my order and he was about to transfer me back to 425 (I was sure to ask where he was about to send me to). I caught him and he sent me to Kim at extension 428. Kim was very pleasant to deal with and I was able to cancel my order immediately. All I had to do was send her an email with the order number. A few minutes later she sent back a cancellation receipt.

I will not deal with this company again.
