"Responding to an ad promising same day shipping, I purchased 2 solar covers. After nine days I have learned that the product has not shipped, the company does not have the cover I ordered in stock, and the company ordered the covers with yet another company to cover my order. Despite repeated calls, they are unable to tell me if the order was ever processed at this mysterious "other company" and can provide no information on my order. When asked to cancel the order and refund the money, they said they couldn't do that because its possible, after 9 days, the order has shipped and they just don't know it. They have no given me the name of the company actually processing the order, and they never call me when the promise to do so. "
"i purchased a clear high end solar cover. less than a year, the solar cover ripped. cost me $50 for a replacement. second one lasted less than a year, completely fell apart, all the bubbles cracked off the bottom and continually scooping them out of the pool. leisure living now wants to charge 50% for a new one since I slipped over a year. "This is by far the worst company ever.I bought a 12mil clear solar cover, exept it is not 12mil but 5mil.
Upon me calling them they wanted to know how I came to that conclusion. First, I am european and grew up with mil and then I used a ruler. I was told that is not accurate way to mesure.

Do not buy from solarcovers.com they simly do not care for their customers. So, now I am stuck with a cover that does not do a heating job and they do not want to pay to take it back and send me a correct one. Big fat liars, I am disappointed to say the least."

I purchased a volleyball set for my pool and the thing was absolute junk and not as advertised. when I contacted solar covers to return the piece of junk they told me that even though it wasn't as advertised they would not stand behind it....the $49.99 item was going to cost me $27.60 to return..what a scam!!!!"
"This company will not stand by their advertised warranty. I purchased an expensive solar reel for my pool that had a 3 year warranty. The one stipulation was that a cover with a "diamond" pattern not be used as it holds water and is heavy. I did not use a cover like this and the reel broke in half after a little over a year. After sending pictures and calling for over a week I was told they would not pay for the replacement. Since the reel was telescopic and I ordered it for a 24ft wide pool and my pool was 20ft wide I was able to cut off the broken part and use the reel for another summer until a leg broke off. This time it had a new cover from Solar covers/Leisure Living on it that was recommended by the sales person and explicitly covered under the warranty. They still won't cover this. Warranty means nothing. False advertising and poor poor customer service. Stay away."
