Better priced than Amazon for same item

"I ordered a Zojirushi inner pan for my old rice cooker. Amazon showed it available but didn't accurately identify the seller. If I had known about Smallappliance.com (Oceanside, NY) before ordering from Amazon, I would have gotten the identical pan for $18 less than at Amazon, had it delivered by the same seller, in the same amount of time. I would encourage more people to purchase directly from Smallappliance.com for any of their older appliances that need original manufacturer replacement parts."

Never received product

WOW! Just WOW!

"I wish I had read these reviews before ordering an All Clad Slow Cooker Insert on 1/3/2023. I still don’t have it so I made a second call for the status. I was basically attacked verbally for asking and the gal on the phone was off the wall. She yelled, wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise. I actually was hesitant to call because of the convo last time which was a month ago, out of nowhere and for no reason, she was as rude as could be. I have never encountered anyone in all my years who behaved this way as a so called customer service rep. She just hammered on and on, I asked her to let me speak but that wasn’t happening. I can’t even remember all the excuses she gave for why my replacement was not in yet. Coming from France, backlogged, ships docked, COVID blah blah blah. I started to say if I don’t have it by May then I’m just going to cancel. Well I didn’t even get that out before she came back with, don’t you threaten me! Threaten???? WTH, I was stating a fact, I no longer want it. I asked to speak with someone else, don’t think there is anyone else. She kept yelling and rattling on and on, I asked her to refund and she said I was never charged, that’s how much I know about the process. No I don’t know about the process because I don’t work there! She hung up on me after her RANT! I honestly haven’t a clue how this person is in Customer Service. Something surely needs to be done after reading all these comments! I also think ALL CLAD should be advised not to recommend them for replacement parts along with all the other companies….A report to the BBB is in order as well….If I could give negative 0 starts I would! Company needs to go!"

Fraudulent practices!

"I ordered a replacement blade for my Cuisinart Chopper over the phone and provided my mailing address along with my email and never received a shipping confirmation. 3 weeks later I contacted Maria who had taken my order and told her I had not received a shipping confirmation. She claimed that she emailed the confirmation and that the item had been shipped. I requested the tracking number and noticed that the item was in transit back to the store. I reached out to Maria who said that I did not give her my apartment number and that she would contact the post office to add my apartment number. Two weeks went by so I called Maria again who told me the package had been returned and that she would reship my item. Another two weeks went by, I emailed the company and did not receive a reply. I called Maria to ask what was going on and she said that a refund has been issued and that there would be an additional fee to ship my item because I provided an incomplete address. I told her I had provided my full address and that it was not my fault if she did not write it correctly, she was extremely rude and condescending, she told me to order from another company and hung up on me. I do not recommend purchasing anything from this second-rate company. UPDATE: BUYER BEWARE! Small Appliance conducts fraudulent practices. Maria from customer service told me that a refund was processed for the item I never received. I checked with my credit card and Maria did not issue the full refund. I am reporting the company to Visa and the Better Business Bureau. Not only did Maria give me the runaround for nearly 2 months but flat out lied to me multiple times. By the looks of all the reviews I read I'm not the only one who has been scammed."

Extremely dysfunctional organization with the rudest customer service staff I have ever encountered

" I made my decision to order from this company based on their return policy, which seemed customer friendly. It is misleading, fraudulent. I could not get an answer to my question about getting the required "RMA" in order to return my product by their contact link or by email, so I called and spoke to a customer service person named Elizabeth. I have never in my many years of online purchasing experienced a ruder person. She would NOT listen to my question about the RMA, I couldn't even explain my situation due to her talking over me and interrupting. I wrote an email to the "manager" Renata re; this terrible exchange, no reply. My bad for not reading the reviews before ordering from them.
If I could rate them less than one star, I definitely would. Save yourself the stress and headache and do NOT do business with these people.

Absolute waste of time

"I called about a spare part for a Cuisinart espresso machine. The woman who answered told me to send her pictures of the machine. I did. I never heard back so I called back to check a week later and she told me these are so new, they don't have them in stock so they have to special order them. Again, she said she'd get back to me. Keep in mind these machines have, in fact, been out for a couple of years. A week more and I emailed again to ask the status. No response.

You can buy these direct from Cuisinart and they're pricey but it's better than having your chain pulled for no reason.

If I could give 0 stars I would

"I called Oral B customer service for a replacement toothbrush because mine quit working and was out of warranty. They referred me to this number and it was this lovely company. I purchased a replacement brush and waited like a week. Then I called them back and asked why it hasn't come in yet and that I haven’t received any emails you know what I’m saying? It’s the same lady every time I call and she is even in the voicemail if you call after hours. Kind of strange and the website appears outdated and clunky. I think this might be a scam. I don't think it’s a legitimate business if they don’t even give you an email confirmation. Waited 3 more weeks and she kept saying it will be here at the end of the month and the parts are on back order. Ridiculous. Can buy the same brush on ebay for the same price. Called and canceled. Really no emails and they won’t post payment until the item ships. Who knows how long that will take and if it will even be the correct item. I wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw em!"

BOGUS COMPANY

"On October 23, 2020, I ordered a part for my Krups coffee pot and the money for same was deducted from my account immediately. On November 25, 2020 I called sent an email - it was promptly replied too stating that due to COVID they were not responding to emails!! Then I was told that the part was on order from Germany. When I checked with them in March, 2021, I was told it had just arrived and would be shipped that week. I again called them in April 2021 and was given no answer but the woman that answered the phone said she would check and call me the next day. NO CALL EVER RECEIVED. I have reported this company to the Better Business Bureau. "

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! (UNPROFESSIONAL, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, LONG DELAYS AFTER PURCHASE, AND UNCONSCIONABLE ACTIONS IN RETURNS)

"This was the worst experience I have had in my many years of purchasing products from a company! I intend to pursue ALL legal remedies!! First, the company was dishonest about when I would receive the product (a part for my coffee maker). I received it in approximately three weeks, not in 10 days as promised (and couldn't reach the office by phone or email to find out the reason for the delay). Secondly, there was a problem with the product and the company required me to return it at my own expense but in their original packaging, which caused me to pay an exorbitant shipping fee. In addition, the company deducted the shipping fee that they paid when they first shipped the item from the refund that I was due, which is inconsistent with what I was told over the phone. In fact, they informed me that the initial shipping was free, but then deducted the initial $7.99 shipping fee from my refund, plus I paid an additional shipping fee for the return that was twice the initial shipping fee. In short, I paid more to return the item than the product cost and I would have lost less money if I had just thrown the product in the trash!! (not to mention the loss of time, the unavailability of the product, the poor customer service, etc.). Moreover, I didn't get a product!!!! I believe that they do this on purpose!! This is unconscionable and I won't let them get away with it!! Also, although I returned the item on November 14, 2020, I was not credited with a refund until January 26, 2021. Frankly, I sincerely believe that I wouldn't have received any kind of a refund if I had not continued to call them. Further, the office staff is obnoxious, rude, and unprofessional. A person can only make a call within a short time period in the early morning and the office staff not only forces the caller to wait on hold for a long time, but hangs up on you after a long wait, requiring the caller to call again only to receive a recording that the office is closed. When attempting to ask questions, the staff becomes very defensive and hostile, stating that they do not have to speak to me instead of answering questions. The company also does not provide for a response to emails!! Don't believe anything they say, publicly or otherwise! PLEASE DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS COMPANY!"

Do not order from this company

"I ordered two parts off their website and after a month of not hearing anything back, I had to reach out to them. They informed me they didn't have one of the parts in stock but their website didn't reflect that. The phone support was rude and their email doesn't work. Had to get a refund so I can find it elsewhere and the lady on the phone said sarcastically good luck finding it. Oh, I won't have a problem because there are plenty of other sites out there. "
