"Terrible service - ordered an outfit for a special occasion and paid for express next day service - waited 2 days and when delivery failed to arrive called customer service. I was told that the delivery service had an address query (I have lived here 22 years and regularly have deliveries) when I asked why they had not contacted me I was told they did not have the 'manpower to do that and it was down to the customer to chase missing deliveries' when I asked for my money back I was told they could not process this until the delivery was returned to them.

The manager I spoke to was less that helpful and did not see why I was annoyed as I would get my money back

"Not happy with Simply Be Customer service awful and they dont return your call when you send email, just about to put something on Facebook to tell people to avoid their Company. Explained to them the date I get paid and to settle my account but they still charge me late payment that has affected my credit report. Awful Company"

"TERRIBLE. First of all, It took forever receive my item. As it did not fit, I sent it back. After waiting for what seemed like a reasonable period of time for my refund to appear on my credit card, I finally contacted Simply Be. I was told that the package I mailed 12 days earlier still had not been documented as having been received by their warehouse and that AFTER confirmation of receipt, it would be at least another 21 days before I could expect a refund. Unless you can afford to be out the purchase price of something that you had to send back for a month or more, I would not advise you to order from this company. I cannot think of a more inconvenient and disappointing online shopping experience. "

"After reading so many negative reviews I wanted to write one saying that not all experiences with Simply Be are bad. I ordered from Wisconsin, USA and had no problems. I received my items before their expected date and was happy with all 3 of my items.
I made one mistake of ordering a size larger than my normal size (all tops, no bras/bottoms) and I found that the clothing is true to size. By ordering a size larger my items were too big. But I love each one so much I can make them work (but again my fault for going up a size).
I understand there were some bad experiences from shoppers, but mine was a pleasant one and I will be ordering again, though I will order my correct size next time.
I did not need to contact costumer service as my items were sent and as described.

"I am beyond frustrated with this company, SimplyBe. Quite frankly, I think its a scam, maybe a front for something and they send out enough "correct orders" to quell the outcry. This is my second attempt to buy bras from them and although I put the correct size on the US section, I still got badly sized bras. I think they make money from all the returns. I plan to find a bigger venue to try and expose this scam. Two separate orders, same outcome, and sooooo many poor reviews. Think about it."

"The website advised me to choose my "American" size the last time I tried shopping on there. The bras arrived a cup bigger and the panties a size smaller than what I had requested. Not to mention they are constantly "canceling" items that you have ordered, assuming that you can actually find anything "in stock" on this site. Hey SimplyBe! Learn how to do a proper inventory count!! If you only have two bras left, make sure your websites actually corroborate with your warehouse and realize that there are only two left and not sell three and notify somebody two days later that the item that they thought they purchased because it was "in stock", actually wasn't. Your service is really poor. Called customer service and the person I spoke with gave an attitude about the whole thing. I had forgotten why I said I was not going to purchase from you again after that first experience. That is my mistake in now making a second attempt. I will be sticking with Asos. "

"While shipping took longer than I expected, I failed to realize the clothes I ordered were coming from the UK so the delay was understandable. The clothes were excellent quality, beautiful, and I didn't experience any of the issues mentioned below. It seems to me that within the past few years, Simply Be has really gotten themselves together. Highly recommend this site, especially clearance!"

"I ordered for the first time from Simply Be about two weeks ago. I ordered numerous items and different sizes because I know I fluctuate. This was absolutely a positive experience for me. I always purchase my clothing online from many well known brands but this was perfect for me. I had a large order yet it all still only cost 8.75 to ship from England to the US. The order was processed and shipped the same day and arrived exactly 8 days later. Every selection was nice. The personal touches with the tags and notes were also memorable. One of the bags came damaged but it was not the fault of Simply Be. Nothing was lost as it was packed well.

Unless you know the exact size you are and the fact your not the same size everywhere than it shouldn't be hard to look at their size guide and match things up. I pay also with direct visa not by in store credit programs.

"I ordered a dress from Simply Be and due to the conversion it was to small. Shipping was very fast and no complaints there. When I return the item with all the original paperwork I got a refund of a the sale price ( I bought full price) minus shipping. All in all I got a quarter of my money back. I could not get a response from their customer service."

"I ordered from them once, and won't be repeating the experience. I ordered one piece of clothing from them and two bras in a size 42G. They canceled the clothing and one of the bras, so I only got one bra. It CLEARLY was too small. I've ordered UK bras in this size before and they fit me fine (thanks bare necessities!). Simply be must have done their conversions incorrectly or something. Also, the bra they sent me says it is an E cup, not a G cup. I emailed them and they basically just said to send it back, that a UK E cup is a US G cup.

The only way to send it back is to pay $6.95 return shipping using their label. It is not going to cost $6.95 to send one (too!) small bra back to them. Plus the $8.99 I had to pay to ship the bra to me. Which seemed like a reasonable price to ship 2 bras and one article of clothing - not so much for just one bra. So I paid $16 to learn not to shop here. I'm just glad it wasn't as bad as some of the other stories!

"While their customer service attempts to help, ordering with this company is a nightmare. I ordered merchandise twice through their website, but Simply Be canceled each of my order before shipping them out- nullifying me from using the promo codes again on their website. Once I called customer service to re-order I was promised the promo code would be applied after I'd received my item, if I decided to keep it. THE ITEM NEVER ARRIVED, and I am told it might be in Customs, but is untrackable. I've been offered 30% off my next order, but I highly doubt I'll be shopping with them again. "

"Just FYI....hope you are reading these reviews before you order. I'm another one who never spends money online without checking reviews and (unfortunately) did not do so before spending around $300 at Simply Be. The clothing looked great in the catalog and I have to say the quality of the fabric was nice when my shipment arrived. The design, however, on all--the jean skirt, the sweater, and the dress--was goofy to say the least (looked nothing like the pics in the catalog!!), and the tights fit but don't stay on! I wore the jean skirt (which, like the tights, falls off due to an extremely large waistline) and dropped the dress outside so I didn't try to return either of them (or the tights)--even though I'll never wear any of them again, at least not in public. I did, however, return the sweater and another item around 5-6 weeks ago (?) and still haven't received a refund. (I inquired about it twice, so far have received a response to my first inquiry and am waiting for the second response as well as my refund.) The first response said they'd refund me around 2-3 weeks ago, which hasn't happened. If they do refund me at some point, I'll report that back here, just to be fair.

Still, buyer beware.
