Superb shed with Amazing Staff

"I found ShedsForLessDirect storage shed kit to be a quality product and the staff who assisted me is very professional. They were very good and easy to deal with, the ordering process went smoothly. The Customer service rep. is very knowledgeable and experienced as she answered all my questions without hesitation. I can say she is very well familiar with the product. I really want to commend her on this but unfortunately forgot her name LOL. From the beginning right up until the shed was delivered by the driver (which is very helpful). I was very impressed with all the staff involved. This DIY shed kit is very good and I don't have any complaints. My husband and his brother build it over the weekend with no problem. Excellent company with superb shed. Highly Recommended!"

Poor customer service

"We were supposed to get a call when our shed was ready, to make an appointment for delivery. 2 weeks after we ordered the 10x10 Rockwood, we get a call from the delivery service in the afternoon saying they want to deliver the shed that day!! No prior contact was given to us. We weren't home and couldn't deal with their very short time frame. Then, to top it off, the driver from Denver asked us if we had a forklift to get it off the truck!! Anyway, they came by the next day to deliver and it came buried under other orders, in a Mercedes van, after Sheds for less told us it would be on a semi. This van was full of stuff with orders haphazardly thrown on top of each other, and the pallets it came on were disintegrating and smashed. It probably took us an hour to get our shed off by jockeying things around and removing the top items, with the help of my neighbors tractor which he had to put the forks on, and was fortunately able to help with this disastrous situation! Never will deal with Sheds for Less, as you WILL get much less than you expected!

“Anyone reading this review please note that this customer lives in a mountainous region down several dirt roads. Per our terms of service the customer agreed to we do not ship to addresses on dirt roads because the 18 wheeler trucks required to deliver the size of some of our items cannot drive there. Normally an order like this will get cancelled and somehow this one fell through the cracks and the freight carrier we hired subcontracted the freight to a small delivery business that was able to get the freight delivered. If you live on dirt roads please be mindful that freight deliveries are near impossible. This customer was able to receive the delivery and doesn't realize they actually beat the system here. The customer also claimed 1 window was missing and we shipped them another one free of charge.”

Awesome Shed

"I am very happy and impressed with my shed. All parts fit correctly and the instruction manual was very detailed. It definitely takes 2 people to complete but it's sturdy and waterproof. Very affordable compared to a similar wood shed I was looking at. I highly recommend."

Horrible customer service. I ordered a patio cover and was told it would take about three weeks to arrive. Three days later, on a Thursday, I get a call saying they will be delivering it on Monday. I explain that I need time to coordinate having help to move it and she puts it off to Friday but explains if it's any longer I will be charged for storage. I quickly make arrangements and wait for the cover to arrive.

Friday comes and no delivery. I make a phone call and find out they may or may not be able to deliver it. It needs a special truck which they don't have (which by the way I paid extra for), and I'm told that's just the way shipping is right now. They think they can get it to me Monday, but can't be sure.

I tried to cancel the order since it seemed no one could tell me if or when the cover would be delivered and was told I would have to take a hit of nearly $1k as a restocking fee!!! So now I'm being forced to accept a shipment whenever they get around to it, regardless of whether I have any help available to move it out of the street.

I purposefully called to speak to someone about ordering to make absolutely certain I could manage a project like this. Every answer I received turned out to be WRONG! Had I been told that it would be delivered whenever the shipping co felt like it and as a matter of fact, might not be delivered at all, who knows. I certainly wouldn't have made the purchase.

Now the thing is sitting in my garage because it arrived a week later than promised and the scheduled help is not available. I'll be honest I've lost enthusiasm for the entire project and will likely sell the thing on FB.

Do yourself a favor and work with a reputable company.

Thanks for your order from our business. I apologize for any confusion on your delivery. I see we shipped your order the very next day after you ordered through UPS Freight. Due to the item being very heavy the only option we have to ship is freight trucks lines. Freight is not as easy to estimate a delivery time on like normal small parcel items unfortunately and if you ask our staff to estimate they will normally be safe and give you a longer estimated time to make sure we meet your expectations. Getting the items shipped out fast is key to getting freight items delivered as fast as possible and in your case I see we performed well by getting the item on a truck within 24 hours of your order. Normally when we get a complaint for shipping it is because it took too long and I'm a little confused why your complaint is for the item arriving too early. This item comes in 3 boxes roughly 100 lbs each so yes we do recommend two people to carry the boxes to the desired location and usually that doesn't require a customer to hire out and schedule a company to help them the exact day of delivery which seems to be what you were attempting here. I apologize for confusion there that you thought this was necessary. The reason for the cancellation fee you also felt was unfair is to cover the costs we incur for you placing the order. Freight shipments are very very expensive. Your shipment cost roughly $600 just to ship it to you and it would cost another $600 to ship it back. It's not as simple as just cancelling it and there are no costs when we have hired a company that has used resources to facilitate the order. I hope that makes sense. Please let us know if you have further questions about your order we an assist with. Poor Customer Service - Shipping Issues

"Paid thru PayPal. It somehow defaulted to the Billing Address. When I found out, I asked ShedsforLessDirect.com to reroute it to the Shipping Address and told them I would pay for the extra 17 miles. They refused and were totally inflexible. The manufacturer (from where it is being shipped) and the freight company were both willing to reroute it but ShedsforLessDirect.com refused. Beyond ridiculous. Terrible customer service. Now I have to figure out how to get a 700-lb item from the curb to my house 17 miles away when they deliver it next week. Because ShedsforLessDirect.com refused to let me pay to reroute it, ABF Freight won't let me hire them directly to transport it the extra 17 miles. Also ridiculous. Between ShedsforLessDirect.com, the manuacturer, and the freight company, I've talked to four different people. They're all box checkers."

When you purchase with Paypal there is what's called Seller Protection and Customer Protection. Under Paypal's guidelines we are required to ship to the Shipping Address on the order otherwise we lose Seller Protection. That means that if someone wants to defraud our business the way they do it is trick us into changing the address then contact Paypal and claim they never received the merchandise. This is probably not what you were intending to do but that is why we have a policy that does not allow our staff to change addresses. I'm sorry this happened, I know how frustrating this must be for you. I hope you understand why we were not able to fulfill your request to change the address. Please let me know if there is anything else me and my staff can do better to make sure your shopping with us is a 5 star experience. Fast shipping

"The shed arrived quickly. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. Lumber quality was excellent and everything was packed well. I was short several boxes of nails, but I chose not to follow up and instead replaced them with screws from Lowes. "

Good price for a great shed

"The price seemed pretty good and the service was excellent, so I figured that I’d give them a shot. The quality of the lumber that came with this kit far exceeded what I could buy locally. There were a couple of pieces that were damaged by the freight company and they were replaced the next day! I couldn’t have built it for less and the lumber quality would have been inferior if I had sourced everything locally. I’d do this again in a heartbeat!"

Amazing Service! Wonderful product!

"Amazing service. They called and told me an expected delivery date (which was earlier than expected) and I expressed apprehension that I might not have the site ready by then. No problem they said, if you need more time we can postpone delivery until you are ready. When they set up date to delivery delivery man was great, placed the very big pallet perfectly in our tight driveway. He said he used to install them, my husband asked for any tips, he said follow the directions exactly. We did and it is a beautiful addition to our yard. "
