"We signed up to sell our timeshare before Covid. We knew that we would not get what we paid for our timeshare. This is where the timeshares get you. To make it worth your while you need so many points. With Hilton, their goal is to get you to that "Elite" status. Of course it costs you. We decided in 2019 that we were done. Maintenance fees just kept getting higher and higher. We did not want to burden our children with it when we pass on either. I contacted the resale company and they explained how it all worked. We paid our fee and up on the resale market it went. Eventually we also had Hilton list it on their resale market. I had about given up when we were contacted about an offer. We accepted it and from there everything went smoothly. All paperwork was signed online except the final deed transfer which had to be notarized and mailed back. We were kept informed during the process and received our proceeds in a timely manner. We both breathed a sigh of relief to be done with it all. Give it a shot if you have paid off your timeshare and you want to sell and make something back rather then just walking away. "

Find an owner to accept my offer took a while , but my rep T.J. went over and beyond to go through their database for potential sellers. Once we negotiated the price and terms, paperwork was quickly processed and then it was just a matter of waiting for the resort to transfer the deed. Their staff kept checking in with me periodically along the way. All together it took about 4-5 months, but it was a smooth transaction on their end.
