Shocking, shocking, shocking!

"This has got to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Paid for goods beginning of March for delivery end of April. No communication throughout from Moda. Rang them up a couple of days before my expected delivery to be told that some of my order is out of stock for another 3 weeks minimum. Arranged for the part delivery of my order and when it arrived they had forgotten to put some of my furniture on the van and what was delivered was filthy and faulty.

Save your money and go elsewhere. And don't be fooled by the 9.7 they are given on TrustPiliot. Every time they get a negative review they complain it's a breach of guidelines and get it removed. This firm is shocking!

"Do not order from this company. I ordered furniture 1/3/2015 and was told that it would take 3-5 weeks. After the 6th week, I was told my furniture would be delivered on Sat. Feb.14th. The furniture was never delivered. The customer service is poor and unprofessional. I have requested a refund and will dispute the charge with my cc company. They are also formerly known as select furnishings."

"I placed and order on - Date/Time: 29-Sep-2014 6:09:09 PDT
Transaction ID: ***-***-****. After several follow up's with a guy named Jason I finally received my furniture on November 10th but that required me to track my order all the way to the distributor to coordinate getting Jason and Sophia from the distributor on the phone together in order to get my order processed. Until that time which was 5 weeks after my order was placed the distributor didn't even my order on record. So the whole time I was being told it was on back order was a lie. In addition, I was told they would credit back the shipping charges of $325 to my credit card several weeks ago for the inconvenience and after several calls about that I still haven't seen the credit post to my account. Finally, after waiting nearly 7 weeks for my order to come in it didn't come with the mushroom colored covers I orders. We purchased the mushroom covers for an additional $150 and as of today December 3rd I don't have them. I had to dispute the entire amount with my credit card company and opened a formal complaint with Visa over this matter. I also have proof of purchase and all email I received from them. Last time I spoke to the rep was the week before Thanksgiving and the excuse he gave me for why I didn't have my cushion covers was because they lost the key to the storage unit where they stock the covers. Now when I call the support number it rings several times and hangs up with an automated "good bye" response. In addition, any of the reps, Jason, Andrew and Jasmine I have contacted over this are not returning my email about my order. If this group isn't fraudulent then they are a complete bunch of incompetent people!!!! To bad because from all of the "REAL REVIEWS" I have read they upset a lot of people!!! I took a screen shot of this review because if Trust Pilot takes it down I will report them as well for posting fake reviews and removing the legit ones. "Although beautiful pictures of "Reef Rattan" patio furniture, they will take all of your money and NEVER send you product! After two months of trying to communicate with them, Chase credited me back the funds, and they are taking up the fight, as well as Better Business Bureau, if they can find these guys - they seem to use multiple corporate addresses and phone numbers! I ordered Reef Rattan furniture from Select Furnishings web site, but a month later, they stopped communicating by mail, although when I could get through to a sales rep, they said that my order was in the warehouse and ready to ship - but weeks went by, didn't get anything. Then they shut off their toll-free phone line; I noticed in houzz.com that the web page for Reef Rattan changed from Select Furnishings to Moda Furnishings, with different toll-free number. When I called Moda, first the CSR said that he didn't handle Select Furnishings order, but when I asked if he knew Jasmine Anderson, he said yes they said that she was a customer service supervisor (I got one email from her 1 month after the order), but she couldn't come to the phone, and she will be in touch with meshe has never responded since early Oct! DO NOT ORDER FROM ANY COMPANY THAT SELLS REEF RATTAN! ALL OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE BOGUS, they'll take your money and never send you anything! Who else has been ripped off by these online thieves?"

"They held my money for months continually saying "no problem, your patio set will ship by XYZ date." Eventually they admitted they could not fulfill the order and said to expect a credit to my charge card. Guess what never arrived? When I followed up, they said they would not be issuing a credit, that I needed to charge it back through my credit card!

This place is a scam. They always have people ready to take orders but its nearly impossible to get any customer services. They also put snapshots of these review sites on their homepage making it appear as though they are highly rated when in fact, it appears the public has seen them for what they are.

"Stay away...far far away from this company!!!

I ordered the London set and it came several weeks after they said it would. Thankfully the trucking company guy stayed while I opened the boxes. There was absolutely no damage to the outside of the boxes but two of the pieces inside separate boxes were horribly damaged on the inside. It looked like someone took a swing at the rattan with a hockey stick. Clearly, the pieces were damaged before they were put in the boxes in China. Refused the shipment and the nice trucker took pieces back.

Jasmine in customer service was very understanding over the phone and processed a reorder but said it would take 6 weeks to replace the set. 8 weeks later and several phone conversations, still no tracking number. Finally, I told Jasmine to cancel the order entirely. She indicated that understood completely and emailed Andrew (cc'd me) and told him to issue me a full refund. Several weeks went by an nothing appeared on my credit card. I emailed Andrew and he responded that it may take up to 20 working days for the credit to show up. After 30 working days, still nothing and now neither Andrew or Jasmine answer the phone or respond to emails. Probably out of business given all of their poor performance.

"This website is a SCAM!!!! I made a purchase for over $3000.00 15 days after funds were deducted I still did not receive feedback of when the item will be shipped and I have yet to receive a refund. Constantly bounced around with sales agents who do not know the status of the order. Finally received feedback and they said the quality that arrived isn't good enough to ship. Still no refund.

Found REPLICA WEBSITE claiming items are in stock, replica site is Moda Furnishings. The same agent and promo code was given to me for this "different" site to purchase my same couch. They are running a dirty scam. WARNING!!

"I ordered a London 7 piece sofa in July and received it quickly. Exactly what I wanted, so the next week I ordered a Carrera dining set to match. After waiting a couple weeks I called to find that the stock was damaged and could not supply in a reasonable time frame. I was offered (and accepted) a Capri stand in and was upgraded to an Amalfi set when it was available.
Well, it's been a couple months and now nobody at Select Furnishings is answering the phone nor returning emails. I am stuck with a dining set I can't store for the winter, and after calling Reef Rattan, they informed me they don't have any stock on hand on either the Carerra or Amalfi for at least 6-8 weeks. On top of THAT, my issue is with Select Furnishings, and since they are not responding to ANY communications, I'm stuck.
Unless Select Furnishings can show a little of the "excellent customer service" they espouse on their website, DON"T ORDER FROM THEM!
***After doing more research, it appears MODA FURNISHINGS is the new Select Furnishings. Same boilerplate website, but sales and "customer service" handled by Reef Rattan. SF and Moda use "registered agents" from the same address, but the Sears Reef store lists the Select Furnishings ph# with a Reef Rattan email. Moda was incorporated in DE on 9/19/2014 which coincidently is when things started to go south with Select Furnishings. Hmmmmm.......... check it for yourself people.

"Ordered product 09/22/2014 still have not received? Called them phone system hung up multiple times? After much persistence and did finally get through on 2 occasions. October 27 and 30th. Told both times Ashley and Jason orders held at port which caused delay? Then told shipment in just processing orders should receive email shipping instructions by the end of last week? No instructions its Wednesday now the phones simply hang up when you call? We have initiated process to get money returned Pay pal? Horrible do not use!!!!"

You place your order, wait the 3-5 weeks, and then try to contact someone about a delivery date and they give excuse after excuse - if you're lucky to connect with anyone. "If I could give this terrible company a negative star, I would!!!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SHAM of a so called COMPANY!!! In August, I placed an order for a dining set. I received an email with a customer receipt and purchase confirmation. After that, I received another email from Jasmine, thanking me for my purchase and notifying me that delivery would take 3-5 weeks and that my custom cushions would be sent via Fed Ex ground. I waited for 5-6 weeks and I received no email and not even a call from customer service on a status update on my order so I called this SelectFurnishings company and they told me that the shipment that came into their warehouse was damaged so they had to send it back. It would take 6 more weeks. They offered another set but I declined and told them that I was willing to wait for this dining set I ordered. Because I had to wait another 6 weeks, we made an arrangement that they would deliver the furniture free of charge. I received an email from Donald Croce who confirmed our phone conversation. Once again, I waited for 6 weeks, still I heard nothing from this company about my order so I called in November and they said that the furniture was being delivered. I never received the furniture but they sure as hell took my money!!! I have been attempting to contact this company and received no response. It appears that the phone is gone and they do not respond to emails. The only contact I had was through their online support chat service, I chatted with someone called Frank. He was of no help, a complete idiot and not very responsive!!! I demanded to cancel my order and a refund. He said he would send it to the office and that the refund would take 2-5 days! I asked him to send me an email or something in writing about the refund. He said I should receive an email that day. I highly doubt any of this is going to happen. I am so upset! This company is a total FRAUD and I do not think they are a real company!! A bunch of SCAM ARTISTS!!! PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! I had to call my credit card company to dispute the transaction and to request a refund through them! This is such a sham of a company and it seems I am not the only one experiencing this!"

No phone, no email, no chat, no response from contact submission.

Read the other reviews. If you have ordered already, cancel with your credit card company. There are not apart of BBB and probably a scam. I have buyer's protection on my credit card for company's just like this.
