"I bought a Viewsonic 912b monitor at SecureMart because they had the best price by $40. Their website showed the monitor as "in stock", but it wasn't and I received no notification of the out of stock status. I called them when my product didn't ship immediately as expected and the woman I spoke to said it would ship in 2-3 days. It shipped in 2 days and I'm using it right now. Other than the initial date miss, they were extremely helpful, sent lots of e-mail after I made my call, and the woman I spoke to was helpful. Overall a decidedly positive purchasing experience."
"This was a FANTASTIC transaction. On Friday 1/7/05, after reading some horror stories about some other websites on resellerratings, this website had above average ratings. I decided to give it a try for a real good price on a Canon PC150 copier with free shipping. I called the sales department and was assured the copier was not refurbished and there were 18 in stock. Everything went like clockwork with the order. Since the order was placed on Friday and the website indicated it would take 24 hours (not counting weekends) to process the order, I sat back and waited until Monday. To my astonishment, on Monday at 4:00 PM the copier arrived! Securemart is in California and the delivery was to Florida! It doesn't get much better than that! I have ordered dozens of times from different websites. This is the best service I have had in at least 3 years. I would not hesitate to use this website again."
"I ordered a Canon LIDE 34 scanner from Securemart, because they had the best price I could find quickly. At first I was a little nervous about them, because I'd never dealt with them. Other reviews here helped me get over that. I placed the order about 6 pm on the the 20th. I opted for Ground shipping, so wasn't at all sure the package would arrive for Christmas. Much to my surprise, it got here today (the 22nd)! When I picked up the box, I could hear/feel something sliding around inside; I thought "Oh Jeez! Not even any plastic peanuts!". But, on opening the box, I found the scanner was in its own box, inside the shipping carton. Everything looks OK - may update later if any problems. Update Jan 6th - all was OK! The person I bought it for has it set up & in "heavy" use.

"I had one of the worst experiences while trying to buy an item from this merchant. I have placed an online order for Microtek scanmaker i900. At the time of purchase the item was shown to be in stock. I have received a confirmation e-mail soon after. After waiting one week I checked the site where the order was still "in processing". When I called the customer rep they claimed that the item was out of stock even at a time of placing the order (?) and now it is backordered till 11/24 (order was placed on 11/10). "Per company policy" they said they they should cancel the order as they do not allow backorders. Checking the next day the website was showing that the scanner was available in stock (?). I waited another day for cancellation e-mail, but nothing arrived of course. The web site now showed that the order was cancelled. Most importantly, the scanner price went up from 504.44 to 532.09. Call to customer rep was useless - "once the order was cancelled we cannot do anything about it but you are welcome to place the order again" (and pay higher price!)
So clearly, they lied about availability of item, they lied that it was backordered till 11/24, cancelled the order without notifying me, and tried to play a bait-n-switch game with item pricing. Additionally, their customer reps are quite rude and can simply hang up on you.
Certainly I am not going to buy from they ever again and am quite curious which methods they used to bump up their rating here."

"Ordered a new, retail 19" Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930SB CRT monitor from the company, for a very competitive price. Emailed them before ordering to inquire about some specifics of the item, and received a rapid, informative and personal response. Placed the order early in the morning, and it was shipped by the end of the day via Fed Ex ground, and arrived at my door two working days thereafter. My only small complaint is that I would have preferred if the unit would have been shipped in a completely sealed box (it came in the product box only, which had cutouts for handles that could have allowed dust inside). However, in every other way it was well-packed, and the monitor works even better than I had hoped, so I'm quite satisfied and will certainly consider this company as a source for future purchases."
"I ordered a laptop and extra RAM.
They were extremely professional, called me the next day to verify that I placed an order. The delivery was very fast too, I placed the order on a Thursday and I got it by Tuesday of the next week.
The ONLY complaint that I have is that they didn't tell me they were going to ship the RAM from a different place. Basically they shipped the laptop from one place and the RAM from another. Not a big deal, except they didn't tell me they were shipping the RAM from another place so I had to email them to find out where my RAM was (I got the RAM the next day).
I would definitely order from them again."
"Ordered Logitech Z-2200 on the 30th of August. Recieve confirmation email promising processing within 24 hours. Patiently wait assuming product has been shipped. On 8th of September, I check status again to try and find a shipping number. No luck, order is still being processed! I call their customer service, I am informed that product is on back-order until the 14th of September. Rep apologizes for no one notifying me. I cancel my order and I will not deal with them in the future.
They sell me a product they don't have in stock, a product they won't have until 15 days later, and lie to me on processing time. I will not patronize this company in the future.
At least my credit card was never charged."

They first emailed me and told me that my card doesn't match the billing address and they needed to call the Credit card company, also got the secure number on the back of the card from me, which I did when I ordered. So after giving them all that info figured my order was on its way! Nope!! Not even an email from them to say it had been cancelled!! So thanks for nothing!"
"Ordered a notebook and was going smoothly. Listed in stock on website. I was called the next day and informed it was backordered 2-6 weeks. Bit upset it was listed (and still is listed) in stock, when it is not. However, customer service was very helpful and truthful, I appreciated an actual person phoning me to let me know. I canceled my order without pressure to buy something more expensive. A little anxious about my money as I had never heard of Securemart and they don't have a very long history here. However, my money was back in my account within 3 business days, so I cannot complain. Would do business with again, but would definetly call to confirm if product was in stock before I decided to buy."
