"Worest Buying Experince. Bought a 32" Aquos. It stopped working with in 7 days.
Called SecondAct customer support, they claim we can't help you. Its something i need to deal with Sharp customer support.

"I highly recommend Second Act to everybody! The people who I spoke with over the phone were knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. I purchased the Samsung FPT5084 50" 1080p Plasma HDTV - Refurbished on their daily deal page for only $1749 (it currently retails for $2500 new). I ordered the local pick up for $95. The shipping company couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. I ordered the TV Friday morning, and it was in my house by Monday night! I love the TV (the picture is amazing), and would DEFINATELY purchase from Second Act again in the future."

"The people there are very honestr and helpful. I ordered Refurbished Sharp AQUOS LC62C42U 42 inch 1080p Flat Panel LCD HDTV on 9/15/2007 online and was going to pay the $95 fee for local pickup. The second day I received phone from them asking me whether I can pick the set up from their warehouse where is actually close to my house. They also said that the $95 fee will be waived if I do that. Certainly I am happy to do that.

That day I found a online coupon which could reduce the total by $50. I called them and asked them to do a price adjustment and they said that they will do that when I pick the set.

I went to pick the set and got the price adjustment. For the set I know that it is refurbished and was ready to accept something with little dents or something like that. However what I received looks like a brand new packaging from the manufacture and after I opened it I found everything looks new. The set was very protected and the stand is absolutely new. So I am very happy about this site.

"Second Act was a pleasure to do business with. I ordered a 52 inch Sharp LCD 1080P (LC52D62U) on a Saturday. The next day I emailed them to change the delivery status to my front door and they had an email response to me within the hour informing me they had made to necessary change (with an increased fee of course). On Monday the TV shipped and I was immediately able to check the delivery status online – it was fantastic! The TV was delivered on Thursday and it is practically brand new. Purchasing a refurbished TV is obviously a gamble – this one paid off. I now own an enormous, state-of-the-art LCD TV and saved almost $1800 on the price. This website was definitely worth the gamble. Bottom line: (1) great company, (2) quick delivery, (3) awesome product, (4) will do business with second act in the future, and (5) recommend second act to everyone!!!"

"I bought a Samsung LNS4695D on 9/11 which was their daily deal. It was $200 off and was a brand new tv, not a refurb. I ordered it at approx. 3 pm CT and picked up the tv at my local shipping place less than 48 hours later. I did try to contact them via e-mail to change the shipping to at home instead of pickup after I placed the order and never received an e-mail or call back. I didn't have any problems picking up the tv (it was faster anyways) and I'm very happy with my purchase from Second Act. I would recommend using them again. They always seem to have a good daily deal FYI. "

"I ordered a brand new Samsung LNS4695D on September 11, 2007 at around 11:30pm. It was their Daily Deal and was $200 off, the cheapest I could find anywhere. It shipped the next day, and arrived on the 17th. Shipping was a bit expensive at $150. The tracking number from their website did not work on Seiko's website, but a call to Second Act remedied the problem. I called on a Friday morning at around 10am and was on the phone with a real person in under a minute. The TV works great and I am very happy with my purchase."

"Purchased a Pioneer 6070HD from this company online only to find out that they cancelled my order later after having paid for the item already. This is very bad business practice. The fact that the order went through and the transaction was already completed, they should have honored the price that was accepted. As well, money was even transferred to them already too! The upside is that they refunded the money when they said they would."

"Heard about this company from a friend that had a good experience with them. I got one of their "deal of the day" items, and it was $100's less than anywhere else I'd seen, so I ordered it. I live in the same metro area as their warehouse, so I went to pick it up directly, which saved me the $75 pickup fee.

When I picked up the tv, I was dumb and didn't check the box thoroughly. I got it home to find that they had given me a smaller size by accident. I placed a call to their warehouse and left a message (they were closed for the evening), and went to exchange the tv the following morning. I was able to exchange it with no problem, and they had even returned my phone call from the night before. Overall, very friendly people and easy to work with in my experience. I even got a handshake and they thanked me for my business.

Once I got the correct TV home, I couldn't have been happier. It was in great cosmetic shape and everything is working (as far as I can tell). A very good product so far, for a very very good price.

Later, I noticed that my credit card had been charged the amount for the tv, and included was the $75 pickup fee that I should have avoided by getting it from the warehouse. I sent a quick e-mail to their support staff and had a reply within an hour. They told me that it had been credited back to my card, but probably hadn't posted yet, and even included some copied-and-pasted text from the transaction. Sure enough, the next day, it had posted to my card.

Overall I am very happy with my experience with secondact.com / secondact.biz. I would recommend them to others, and would shop from them again myself.

"Purchased TV. Shipped quickly and arrived Orlando on time. Shipper Could not get item to me. After three days and one day took off work I gave up and told shipper to send back to second act. Second act agreed and would credit my account when they received the TV back. They received the TV on 2/20 on 5/4 I contacted the Credit card company and Second act SAYS they will issue a credit to my account today. It has already cost me over $90 in interest they will not credit my account. So if they are still using Tiger You may never get your item"

"I will never do business with this company again. I order a tv and spent around $1460. Ten days later I get a call from the shipping company to set up a delivery time. We scheduled it for the next morning. The tv didn't show. The shipping company screwed up the date.
That is not the worst. Three days after receiving the tv, the screen shows nothing but colorful lines. I get ahold of secondact and they tell me to deal with the manufacturer. They must only guarantee their product for a few hours of use.
Instead of dealing with the dealer, I request a refund. They tell me that I will have to pay for shipping back to them and they will charge me a 15% restocking fee. They said they would credit me around $670. I am not a genius but 15% of $1500 is not $800. I don't know where they get off selling me a junk tv and telling me that they will refund less than half of the money I spent on the tv.
Very shady company. It is not worth saving a few hundred dollars. Do not do business with. You will be sorry.

"I bought a Lcd HDTV from them and it was a good price for the tv but still ALOT of money and I happen to live in the same city as their warehouse so I went picked it up. As soon as I got it home 1/2 the screen was dark and after 30 minutes the screen shut off completely but the sound was still going. I email them the same day and they said they wouldn't take it back even if dropped it off again and exchanged it for another one at their warehouse. So now 2 and half months later I'm still waiting for my tv to go through the manufacturer's process of getting me another tv which second act could have done in one day. Thank you second act for doing NOTHING to help what would have been a good customer. "

"Please be careful before buying anything from SecondAct.biz. I bought a Sharp Aquos and it is totally defective Unit. I have send them pictures of huge blemishes on the Unit. They dont take the responsibility nor Sharp does. I paid $115 for shipping which is non refundable and to return I have to pay out of pocket, I am totally stuck. I dont trust them anymore. Thanks"

"This Place Stinks!! Did not send the stand with the TV and the TV was broken, got sound no picture. SecondAct was only concern was how not to reimburse me. I had to get my bank on the line before I was directed to Samsung and the first person I spoke to there was totally uncooperative. He continue to repeat Samsung only supplied service fixing the TV, THERE WAS NO WAY I was going to get my money back even it the TV was defective. I call Samsung back in about 2 hours got someone who was helpful and he is send a service rep out tomorrow. I think this service is atrocious for someone who just spent over $2500.00. I will never buy refurbish or shop at 2nd Act again."
