"I had a very good experience with Seaviewcamera. I purchased a Canon T3i with the 3 years warranty for my wife. She did not like the fact that video would not auto-focus, so i called them up and explained. They told me to return it. Once they received it I ordered a Nikon D5100. They sent it right away and changed the warranty to the new camera. These guys were not the typical pushy salesman, they were very professional and courteous. They delivered on time. I highly reccommend them."

"We ordered a Nikon D3100 camera from Seaview, and after some uncertainty and delay with the order we were able to connect with the vendor and rectify the problem. The price was $40-$50 below what I found anywhere else on the Internet, the quality was great, and they even threw in a filter kit to make up for any inconvenience initially. "

"I bought two canon t3 cameras through this company. It took them 2 weeks to send them, but they did. They do not answer the phone on weekends ant it takes for ever to get this so called "friendly" representative. I was very scared.. I even called the bank and they told me I could start a claim and get all my money back. I used BOA credit card through my Paypal account. It was here where we had a communication problem. They had sent the items but I was never informed of the shipping info, days later they arrived, the company sent me the tracking number, useless of course. I cannot say they are a scam, because I got the items new and right price. I would suggest the company to improve their communication channels. You NEED to call them to approve the purchase and they will offer you cards, accessories and insurance.(I did not buy any)It was here where they told me I could not but 2 items with the card directly so I asked them for the Paypal link and they did.(this was 1 week after I placed the order for the first time)
[UPDATE] Just today, a real friendly representative called me and apologized for the misunderstanding from their part. They will send the missing items and will give me free UV filters (I would have preferred SD cards)for the inconvenience. I am so glad they read these reviews and that they worry about their customers. Way to go!

"Was very happy with the price when i ordered my canon t3i with daxmart on 10/4. Unfortunately , that camera never shipped. The company switched names and i left 1 message and 3 emails and no response. Not sure if i should contact my credit card company or what, just would like the camera. Will keep everyone updated on the status of my order.

Update:
After more then a month, i finally received my order on 11/8. It took several more emails, a post to their Facebook page and for them to review this post to final get a response from them. They claim that they lost my original order number and that is the reason why they could not contact me. They ignored the fact that they had my number from a voice mail i left and they had my email address from the numerous emails i sent. I took a chance and re-ordered the camera (since i was not advised by anyone from their company) and received it about a week later. They did call and offer me a price break on batteries and filters for my troubles with their company and also "rushed" my order to me so i would not wait 10 days.

I will never shop with seaviewcamera.com again and am not advising any of my friends to purchase their cameras or lenses from this company. Customer service was horrible, all it takes is a simple email a month ago to solve my problem. If i did not have my credit card company on my side i would of never risked the re-ordered of the camera. I advise everyone that is going to use this company to purchase the camera with a credit card so you can dispute the transaction if something life this happens.

"BEWARE! Daxmart, seaviewcamera is a scam!!!

I ordered a canon t2i camera from "daxmart" on 9-9-2011, still have yet to receive as of today 10-14-2011. was given a tracking number one week after order. package was delivered to different state, called to find out why, was told they were waiting for my camera from their supplier and that i would have it in one week. this was 3 weeks ago! called today to find company has changed name, can not speak with a rep and have been ripped off! credit card co is going after company to recoup costs.

I would be happy to provide proof of my order to anyone who is interested.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!

"I chose to order from Daxmart because they had the cheapest price for the camcorder I wanted to buy to record the birth of my first child. Placed the order on July 17 and paid for expedited shipping.

Today is July 29, and I have not received the order. My child was born a few days ago. I called 5 times without getting a live person, left a voicemail, and sent and email. No response.

Finally got a live person today, and I cancelled the order.

They are cheap, but you get what you pay for. I would never order anything expensive or time sensitive with them. I think it sounds like the same one guy working out of his home every time I call.

"Got the best price on my Canon T3i kit $752 + no tax + free shipping. Was a little hesitant at first, called them and spoke to a real person, and ordered the camera online. Though I had to call them again to have the order confirmed, the transaction was smooth, the person was little rude though. They were trying to sell more stuff, I declined them all. Prompt shipment and the camera was in perfect condition and got it in 5 Business days as promised... Will continue doing business with DaxMart. "

"They had a Canon T3i for $764 free shipping no tax, which was about $80 cheaper than amazon. I was hesitant, since I had never heard of them and they didn't have a gazillion reviews. So I called their number to see if I could speak to a real human, which I did, and placed the order. That was a Tuesday. I got the camera Thursday. (Granted, it shipped from NJ, I live in NY, but still that is fast.) Perfect condition. I am pleased, pleased enough to write this review."

"***** edited below*****I bought a d3100 and extra lens from them over the phone because I wanted to make extra sure I got what I wanted. On their site the lens is marked as auto focus and I asked the salesperson if it was. He said yes. After the shipment arrived I noticed the lens did not auto focus. After getting the salesperson back on the phone he told me that apparently that particular lens did not autofocus with the camera body I purchased. He apologized and gave me a return authorization number and promised that I would not be charged any restocking fee. When I looked at my credit card account I noticed that an almost 20% restocking fee had been taken out before the credit was issued. When I got Daxmart on the phone they not only refused to honor the sales person's promise, but also told me I should be happy because they should have also charged me a $10 shipping charge. I asked to speak to the original sales person who made the promises and was told a manager would call me later........not holding my breath.****** after calling THEM back twice, I go the refund credited to my account as promised by the original sales person. I do appreciate them following through, then I got a call from customer service to make sure it got through. Thanks for the follow up, I appreciate it."

"They had a great price on a Canon T3i, so I bit the bullet. The order process was fine, although that requested a call to confirm my order, which was really used to try and sell me additional items like batteries, lenses, filters, and a warranty.
The only thing that weirds me out is that I bought the camera body only, which ended up being the 18-55 lens kit with the lens removed from the box. Everything's still new and seems to be unused, so I don't really care, but that's a bit of a shady practice. If I wanted to make a fuss, I'd say that since they had opened the box, they can't sell it as new, but it's not really worth my time.

Basically, while they had a great price, fine customer service, and in the end I got exactly what I wanted, I don't think I would order from them again because it's just a bit shady. Regardless, I'm still satisfied.

"They advertised a Canon 5D Mark ii (the lowest price on Google shopping) for $2345.00 including tax and shipping. I did some research on the company and found good reviews, so I felt safe making the purchase. However, after submitting the order, I received an invoice for $2645.00. I was a little suspicious but long story short, one of the managers, Ray, explained that the camera was on sale and in limited quantity, so I confirmed my order right after (literally in a matter of seconds) before they had sold out of the camera (its regular price is $2645.00). He explained that was a rare occasion, and apologized for the confusion. I will admit that the checking out process made for a bad transaction at first, but I would gladly deal with Ray again in the future."
