"NO WARRANTY - Daxmart aka Seaview is NOT an authorized Canon dealer. This means you get ZERO WARRANTY. The best part is when you call Daxmart they will LIE TO YOU and say you get a warranty. Just call Canon and they will confirm that you have no warranty since neither Daxmart nor Seaview are authorized dealers. On top of this, Daxmart will send you a fake warranty card. Again, if you just call Canon they will explain what a real warranty card looks like... but again it doesn't matter since Daxmart is not an authorized dealer of Canon products - this means NO WARRANTY. Simply google "Canon authorized dealer" and the look at the first result (pdf file) from the Canon site... Lots of authorized dealers - BUT NO DAXMART. ...NO SEAVIEW CAMERA."

"Terrible company. Their site claims the camera I ordered is "in stock" but then they called and said it's back ordered for 4 weeks. At that point they tried to sell me the older model saying the one I wanted was a "waste of money" anyhow. And that if I had gotten the one I wanted it would cost me $20 a month for the GPS feature (an out and out lie). Don't buy from them. "

"Cheap prices if you don't mind dealing with the jerk who tries to upsell you useless crap. The customer support person is rude when you don't allow them to add more money to your order. Other than that, the pricing is good and shipment was farily quick. I haven't registered the product with the manufacturer yet so I might run into a problem there. They can obviously still make money selling at the prices they advertise, so why do they have to waste your time with their bullcrap and risk having bad reviews?"

"HORRIBLE sham company. Stay away. Will NOT provide UPS tracking number or updated invoice. Purchase products from a proven retailer like Amazon even if it is more money.

Allan (who I believe is their only employee) has a calm misdemeanor, which is the only positive thing I can say. Allan called me shortly after I purchased a Canon lens (NOTE – THEY ARE NOT AN AUTHORIZED CANON DEALER) to (successfully) convince me to purchase filters. After convincing me to do so, he never sent an updated invoice; however, my credit card was almost immediately charged the new amount.

I have requested to receive a new invoice on at least 4 separate occasions, and they will not send one. Instead, they are letting me know it will be with the package. I don’t understand how they can be so quick to charge my credit card but cannot seem to send me a new invoice.

Additionally, they notified me that the package was shipped on Monday or Tuesday (even though on the website the order still shows Preparation in Progress); however, they have not actually given me a UPS tracking number. They do insist that the package will arrive by Friday. I have requested that the tracking number be sent to me several times, and they have been unable to satisfy the request. I will be shocked if the package comes Friday, and I do not trust that the products will be not be stolen goods/damaged/used, etc.

I have asked that they cancel my order. The first time I asked they said that they could not cancel the order because it is shipped. Since it has been shipped, I asked that they provide the tracking number. Allan (who informed me he was not from Customer Service – even though I selected option 2 on the phone) later said that if I did not receive the tracking number by last night that he would cancel the order. Still no tracking number and still no cancelled order, despite my email.

Do not waste your breath and time on Allan/DaxMart.com/seaviewcamera.com/whatever they change their name to. I will be handling this through my credit card company and submitting a complaint to the BBB.
