Horrible part service company

"Ordered a part and it came broken and was most likely shipped that way cause package wasn't damaged in anyway. When I returned it they only gave me a partial refund. So they would stilll send out a damaged part cause they would still make money off it"

Buyer Beware !!!

"I know sears partsdirect will not read this ?, but oh well, at least I will get the word out !. placed an order online, on their website on 2-12-2020, 3 days later, I see no tracking number ?, I contact them online chat, they send me a tracking number out 3 days later. I check tracking number for ups, and the tracking number shows invalid ?. I contact sears again on this order, now they tell me its a special order for my dryer belt ?, I ASKED THE CHAT PERSON, HOW DOES A DRYER BELT THAT SHOWS TO BE IN STOCK AT THE TIME I PLACED THE ORDER, NOW BECOME A SPECIAL ORDER ?, of course I get the '' we're sorry for the mix up, let me pass this on to the back end ''. lol. same story, same crap, different day !. it has been almost 2 weeks sense I placed the order, and still have not seen a tracking number ?, or my dryer belt ?, last I chatted with them 2-21-2020, they '' claimed '' I would get a correct tracking number, because the wharehouse where my belt is suppose to be coming from...SCREWED IT UP ??!..YEAH..WHAT EVER !. LIES, LIES, AND MORE LIES !. I WILL SAY..THEY DID REFUND MY SHIPPING CHARGES FROM THE MIX UP ?, BUT THIS DONT MAKE IT RIGHT TO BE LIED TO, PART HELD UP GOD KNOWS WHERE ????. UNREAL. DO NOT ORDER, BUY, CONTACT SEARS FOR ANY PART !!!!!!!!!, YOU WILL REGRET IT..I PROMISE YOU THIS !!..WORSE PLACE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY INTIRE LIFE !!. "

Back Order - Back Order - Scam - Parts Not Available

"Ordered a circuit board for washer on Jan 6, 2020 (no way to do laundry). They sent me message stating it was on back order over a week later. It has been almost three weeks. I escalated and I was told it would take three days to get the escalation submitted and they would get back with me. I canceled and ordered from Amazon. Poor service and deceptive sales tactics. Next portion of Sears to fail."

LIARS - PARTS ARE NOT IN STOCK LIKE THEY ADVERTISE

"This company is a complete scam. They list parts on their website as being 'In-Stock' yet are not at all in stock. Their business model appears to be: list everything as in stock and when a customer orders the item, order it and ship once received. I ordered over a dozen items that all showed as being in stock. A couple days later, I receive an email stating the items are no longer available and my order has been cancelled and refunded. I called their customer support line and asked to speak to a supervisor. She gave me a bunch of BS excuses that others have also mentioned on here. Including that the "website is being upgraded". I expressed my frustration and asked how they can be so unethical and she hung up on me. Avoid this company at all costs...you've been warned!!"

Sears Parts direct - very poor customer service

"Called to get a part for my washer. Their help was giving me the wrong part numbers. I had to talk to 4 different people to finally find out that the part I needed was no longer made and I would have to find a local shop who MIGHT have a part for what I need. I was on the phone and chatting with people from the Sears Part Direct at the same time and they were telling me contradictory information. One said I could get the part from the manufacturer and have it shipped to my house and the other one was telling me it is no longer available. I asked the person in the chat if it was still available and then told them what the person on the phone said. After I told him that then the chat person agreed that it was not available. Like they can't even get their stories straight! That's very poor customer service! I'm sure Sears wouldn't appreciate being represented in that way. Maybe work on better customer service techniques that actually provides excellent customer satisfaction"

Lied about shipping date

"Ordered a part for my fridge--broken fan blade. Sears sent the wrong part, which we didn't find out until we had spent most of Saturday taking apart the fridge. Called for replacement part. The lying sack of shxx who 'helped' us said the replacement part would be here Tuesday. It's Wednesday and it won't be here until Thursday. Maybe. Meanwhile, our fridge is WARM and we've lost several hundred dollars worth of food. Incompetent idiots. Wish I could leave no stars. "

Ordered part 7 weeks ago. 2 damaged ones have been sent and can't seem to get my refund after sending them back.

"Ordered an a/c coil in mid July. Got an email days later saying it was backordered. Part finally came Aug 9th but too damaged to use. Called for a refund but was told a new one would be sent and wasn't on backorder, so I agreed to wait but it was on backorder again and it took days to tell me that. I called to cancel and get refund. They said they would refund it. Days later no refund still but another even more damaged unusable part showed up instead. They put one small piece of foam on one end in the box leaving most of the fragile stuff exposed. That one small piece of foam is the only padding in the whole box. Had to call again for the 4th time to ask for a refund again, and had to go buy tape, repair the box and get it to UPS to send it back again to get a refund. They had me send damage pictures in and said refund would be 3-5 more days. 2 weeks later and still no refund. I call again and now I'm being told that someone will call me in 2-3 days, while we sit in over 100 degree east Texas heat and over 90 in the house where we can hardly get sleep for 7 weeks, waiting for the $585 refund so we can buy one locally. I am disabled and cannot afford to buy another one until they give my money back so we are stuck in a sweltering hot house.
Do not buy from Sears!!

The Death of Sears, by self-inflicted wounds.

"Ordered a part for an older Craftsman lawn mower -- wanted to make sure I got the right one so used Sears Parts Direct (for slightly more money) instead of any of numerous dealers who sell new-old-stock. (This part hasn't been made in about 20 years, so there is NO new stock.) First I had to fight with the website, finally called and placed order that way. Was told it was in stock and would arrive via UPS.

Almost three weeks later I got a letter CONFIRMING my order.

Since the part was nowhere to be seen, I called SPD and after some thrashing around was told that oops, the part was no longer available as it is no longer manufactured. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told it was a matter of demand (er, no -- there is another part for this same machine that is in high demand and also has not been manufactured in some years, so don't try to tell me this rarely-needed part was still being manufactured up until last month, while the high-demand part stopped being made 20 years ago.) Oh, and when I asked why if it's not available, it's still listed on the website, and why it was sold to me if it didn't exist, I was told it takes time to update the website. (Apparently 20 years.) Er, no, that sort of thing is entirely automated; that's why inventory software exists. Next excuse?

I was then told that it would be another 3-5 days before a refund would appear on my credit card.

I've seen this scam before: sell parts that don't exist, wait until the customer complains, slowly issue refund... meanwhile our money goes into their bank account and earns them interest.

Never again. If I could give them negative stars, I would. Sadly, I see I'm not alone; rather, this is standard procedure there.

And I still need to order the part somewhere else.

And this explains how a bankrupt company can have "700 million parts" in inventory (especially with current tax law)... these parts don't exist, tho can sometimes be ordered from affiliated new-old-stock warehouses... and then lucky you! here's your part.

eBay is more reliable, and a helluva lot faster.

BTW for those who believe SPD is a 3rd party scam -- no, it belongs to Sears. I got there from the Sears.com website. The link to SPD is in the footer, under "Stores and Services".

"They are an internet ripoff that has everything cleverly worded to rip you off. They "estimate" shipping delivery by a certain date, and don't even ship it by that date. Then they make you try twenty times to contact them and they hang up on you. When yoiu get a refund, they keep your shipping you already paid and charge you more shipping to return it. Lying scumbags that steal your money using internet fraud. "

What a Joke!

"Ordered parts which were promised in 5 to 7 days. When no tracking was entered after 5 days I called. I can't stand speaking to people that I cannot understand and I could understand almost everyone. Had no clue. Basically gave me the same information I could read on my order status. Waste of time. I called again the next day. This one said order is on it's way. After almost 2 weeks, part was being manufactured and will arrive the latest by 6/27.
I've been calling all week since there was no tracking yet and guess what....systems are down...call back in an hour...call back tomorrow. I just did a live chat and systems are still down, so they can't help but she tole me I should call the customer service number in 24 hours. Really??? Where do you think that'll get me. I just wish they could have been honest. I've been waiting a month for a part. This is probably one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Just horrible all around!

"ordered parts and paid express delivery. when parts didn't show up call and given a run around 4 days later got a notice parts were back ordered. called to cancell my order. said 3 days would have my refund. so a week later and 5 calls later. just was told can't cancel cause parts are in shipment. have to return them. think they are a bunch of thieves"

Terrible Service

"I needed a wine cooler gasket that Sears Parts Direct indicated they had. I placed the order and when I checked on it 4 days later I discovered they had not yet shipped it but they had charged my credit card. They also indicated that it was on back order and was not expected to be shipped for an additional 2 to 3 days. I contacted them to cancel the order. Their response was that even though the item had not yet shipped it might still be sent to me even though I had cancelled it. I have learned that reputable companies do not charge a credit card until the item has shipped."

Waiting on an order for months

"I placed an order months ago , and up to this date they have the same process ,“ We will check with the 3rd Party Seller and they will send an email in 24-48 hours .” This is my fourth time calling . I asked to speak to a Supervisor or Manager and the advisor is not able to let me speak with anyone else - only that an email will be sent . I keep insisting for him to understand it has being months that I get the same response and I don’t get a solution. Simply-I don’t want a refund I just want the items to be send . I ask if in the email a phone number will be available for me to call but he says no . So , I repeat myself all I get from the email is to verify address which I have done several times and that’s it . No follow up and no order gets delivered and this is why I want to speak to a Supervisor. I finally get ,” Do you want a Supervisor to call you back ?” I say ,”yes “and when I ask for the Supervisor name the Advisor response “ He is not able to give me a name .” Just FYI I am not upset with the Advisor , I know his following up “ Sears Process” I don’t understand why we are not able to speak with a Manager or Supervisor???? Is like hiding behind your employee to deal with all the upset customers. "

Broken 3x & wrong parts

"I ordered a WPW10710203. refrigerator bin on March 7. It was broken. The packing material is minimal and inadequate. The second time they sent me something for a dishwasher that was also broken. The third time i got another refrigerator bin that was broken exactly like the first. Looks like a machine is loading them and breaking them. It could be a Sears problem or Whirlpool problem but they don't seem to know how to do anything but ship more parts. The agents were excellent."

CROOKS

"Ordered a part. They sent me the incorrect part twice (over a period of 3 weeks). After the 2nd time and 2nd call (about 20 to 30 minutes on hold each time) they realized that their website is incorrect. The part on their website for $60 is really $100. They are saying the part for $60 that theyve sent me incorrectly twice is an older version. The part listed for $60 on the website that they are now trying to charge me $100 for is the newest version and is exactly what I need. They wanted me to pay another $100 on top of the $60 I’ve already paid. They said they would refund the $60 to me when they receive the two incorrect parts back. I told them I felt like they were trying to hustle me and would like to speak to a manager. I was then informed that the manager is on another call and would return my call in 1 to 2 hrs. Who are these people? And how do they have a successful business having customer service like this!!!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!!"
