DO not order from SearPartsDirect

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE! I ordered a part and then canceled it next day. I have called them 4 times (over 4 weeks) getting them to cancel the order and give me a refund. I finally just called my credit card company to dispute the charge of the part that didn't ship to begin with....Stay away from this company!!!

DO NOT BUY...this is your warning! Customer service is horrid!

BAD SERVICE, LATE DELIVERY

"BAD SERVICE. I work maintenance for a big company, I ordered 3 parts for the fridge in July 27, 2022, they said it will be delivered within a week, but since that date I'm still waiting for the part, they send 1 part in Sep 01 but I'm still waiting for the 2nd part, I asked for a refund or some credit because it slow my business and caused me issues with my clients, but no answer! and I'm still waiting for the other parts and I'll never buy from SEARS again ! "

False product information

"I ordered a Whirlpool control board. The website shows in stock and delivery in 3 days. Part still not shipped after 1 week and when I call they say they are waiting for vendor to ship and have no idea when it will ship. I point out that the confirmation email shows part in stock and 3 day delivery, but they come up with excuses about delay. Then I try to cancel, they say it will take 5 days to cancel. They charged credit card immediately, now I need to file a claim with the credit card company. "

Wrong Part! The Worst service!

"Requested to cancel the order two times. Finally, shipped it and it was the wrong part. Do not waste your time many of their items are back-ordered but they did not update them. It is indeed a hassle!"

there's a reason everyone gives them 1 start

"It's because you can't give them zero stars. This company advertises everything as in stock and shipped to you by such and such date, but it's all a bunch of lies! They don't stock anything. They are a drop shipper and if you don't cancel in 24 hours then they will leave you hanging for weeks until they find the item or eventually place it on backorder and you can get your money back. Do not buy from these people."

They don't like issuing refunds on cancelled orders.

"I ordered a part on 4/19/22, my cc was immediately charged. They product was backordered, with no estimate on delivery. I cancelled the order on 4/21/22. As of 5/5/22 no credit has been issued, so I contacted Sears Partsdirect again, they are still working on processing the cancellation. This is total nonsense. I will work with my cc company to reverse the charges."

Actually NOT in stock!

"I ordered multiple parts from SearPartsDirect.com because they all showed IN STOCK but a day later I got emails that they weren't. Some were listed as backordered for several weeks. I cancelled all the parts over the phone and 2 days later got emails that the parts were shipping. I was charged for return shipping. I spent several hours on the phone getting my money back and trying to explain what happened. Decent customer service after you get through to someone but not a reliable company to order from."

Horrible company

"I ordered parts they said were in stock. Now, they say delivery in 2 months. After promises of refund, they continue to send email and texts about the parts arriving in 2 months. I finally called my credit card company and filed a dispute. Not an honest company!!!"

Previous experiences all positive

"I saw the one star reviews and thought, "That's not right. I've ordered several times with no problems."
Upon searching my archives, I've ordered 3 times from this site between the dates of May 2012 - April 2019 with no issues. I have ordered parts for a dishwasher and twice for my circa 1996 Kenmore vacuum which I've kept running thanks to this site.
Since it has been 3.5 years, it may have changed and I'll re-write this review if my experience has changed.
One knock (-1 star) was that over the chat (January 2022), the CSR was asking for my personal info to get credit for the sale. I didn't do that, but seriously searspartsdirect, get your chat agents off commission or give them a better way to get credit for initiating a sale. Who wants to give personal information of a chat? That knocked down to 4 stars and I didn't give the CSR anything personal info.
BTW, this is also a great site to find a part # from a piece of equipment and then buy it elsewhere cheaper. They have a great database of parts and replacement parts which serves as a great reference to buy elsewhere.

"Ordered a part that sais it was in stock and would arrive in 3 days. Not really and talking with customer service you just get the run around. Second bad experience from Sears. Its sad that a once proud retailer can't even process an order properly and in a timely;y manner."

WARNING - Nothing more than thieves

"I purchased dishwasher parts back in march. It had a lengthy expected ship time. Not a problem there, I expected possible delays. 3 months later I called asking for an update. I was told the "vendor" hasn't shipped it yet. 2 weeks later I called again for an update. Still, the "vendor" hasn't shipped it yet. A month passes, I call and ask for a refund. I am told to expect it in 7 days. I do not receive the refund in 7 days. I call back, and the person explains to me that they are waiting on the "vendor" to issue the refund. I wait another week. I call back and pretend like I never asked for a refund; I asked this time if I could get an update on the shipping date. As you may expect by now, the "vendor" still hasn't shipped it. I ask for a refund again explaining that I wasn't going to drop the call until I spoke to a manager. Manager gets on the phone and assures me in 3 days I will receive a refund. I didn't know until recently after speaking to a friend of any options at this point. The amount wasn't a huge sum, but I would like that $100 back. Doesn't seem likely and I can't really sue them for $100. Side note, I completely understand the impact of COVID on businesses. This is not the problem. The same dishwasher parts I was able to find in many other places. I found a better price, ordered the parts and received them in 2 days. So its not like a computer chip crisis for graphics cards by any means.

Under no circumstance should anyone researching this company do any business with them. You have been warned.

Another note: I just checked my account and now it shows my order has shipped. No tracking info, no shipping date, and the other two parts that actually shipped still have a tracking number I can click. Shady??? ABSOLUTELY!
