Stay Away from this business

"In my 40 years as a business owner I have never had a more unprofessional experience then I did with this company. The woman who I spoke with on the phone, I presume is the owner, because she stated she had been doing this for 20 years. Her lack of professionalism and manner in which she conducted herself through my experience was appalling. I had spoken with her 3 times on the phone about an order delivery issue and each time I was hung up on.
There was simply a misunderstanding about the shipping time for an order. I of course am aware that once a package is shipped it is no longer in their hands and instead of the delivery service (UPS or FedEX). But when I called I wanted to inquire about a possible refund for the amount of shipping I had paid for because my package did not arrive in the time I had paid for. Now I must say I placed the order 2 days prior to Thanksgiving therefore I completely understand a delay in delivery to an extent. But in my case I paid for Next Day Air Shipping for $83 in addition to the cost of the product. But it has been 7 days since ordering and I still have yet to receive my package.
All in all after reading the other reviews about this business it seems that this is a common occurrence with them. That being their lack of professionalism through their attitude and hanging up on paying customers. It simply amazes me they have managed to be in business for 20 years with that kind of business ethic. I feel sorry for them.
I hope this review once again reiterates to them the changes they must make if they want to continue getting business from people. I wish them the best and hope they take this and the other reviews as constructive criticism so their business can continue to grow and be successful.

Stay Away

"Called to get a tracking number. We had been on the phone for 5 mins locating the order. Once she located the order her statement was, "that shipped a long time ago." I asked her to e-mail me the tracking numbers. She said I needed to e-mail them with a request. Since she had located the order I again asked her to take down my email. No, you have to request by e-mail. At that point I just said we would never use them again. I did as she asked and requested via e-mail. Below is her response.

"I'm the business owner who answered the phone and heard the grumblings of an old man who obviously has no time or energy to monitor emails or the integrity to make a pleasant request. Your call has kept and catalogued for harassment. It will be used to press charges should you attempt to communicate with my company ever again. You were bizarrely out of line and over the top. Your erratic behavior is very concerning. I'm glad that I took the call and heard your escalation of your simple request myself instead of one of my employees taking your disgusting call. I would have hardly believed someone explaining your shameful rage over a package that shipped well ahead of time and a simple tracking number request. Sadly, I fear especially from your tattle tale email below that you obviously excite yourself bossing around what you preceive as lesser employees, a receptionist, any human being is not deserving of the verbal lashing you unleashed upon me this morning. Tracking has been requested from shipping and will be resent. Do not contact us again. Cease and desist immediately.

Do NOT do business with them!

"I have had an awful experience with this company from start to finish. VERY poor communication skills, let alone customer service. They are very rude, very aloof and yes, they hang up on me too. The ONLY reason I am keeping things together is because it is too late for me to order thru someone else. For 3 weeks, I have been told that my order shipped and I would receive tracking info. I have been pleasant and patient and calm (their attitude is a little intimidating as well) because all I really want are my bibs and wet naps and again, don't have time to order from someone else at this point. I called this morning to again, check the status of my order and was told that although my order was complete, it indeed had NOT been shipped yet. I kindly asked if we could get more info, as the wedding is now 27 days away and we haven't even seen the product plus we still have to fold them and deliver them to the caterer. She literally laughed at me, told me that I had plenty of time, she had no more info to give me, and promptly hung up on me, again.
This is the kind of service you will get when dealing with this company. They are late, they are providing bad info and then they laugh at YOU. The last I remember, these people weren't giving me the product for free, we did indeed pay over $300.00 for this! I am disgusted with their ethic.

terrible! terrible! terrible!

"Worst experience ever. Ordered bibs for wedding. Arrived very late after being sent to someone else. Arrived ups with a cod charge when I had chosen and paid for usps first class shipping. Called sand scripts and was hung up on, emailed and no response. To top it off when I opened my package the bibs where stuffed in a bag, they are full of creases that will not come out and printing is not good quality. Save your money!"

"I REGRET ever choosing to do business with these people. If I could give them a negative star rating i would. My card was charged as soon as i picked my material, design and font, and I NEVER approved the sample proof they sent. I contacted them a couple times apologizing for delaying my approval (got no response), and that it was a possibility i would not be approving at all. I contacted them again to let them know i wouldnt be approving my order and no response still. I then called and customer service rep said he saw the emails i had sent and that it was weird no one had contacted me but that he would reforward my emails to the right dept to help me because he couldn't help me and that i would be contacted within 24 hrs. 120 hrs later (5 days) i got an email response, and only because i emailed, called and left an unfriendly message on their pg. The lady who responded was rude, called me thief (literally) for wanting my money back, because she said my order was fully placed and was "binding" which it clearly was NOT since I never approved sample NOR did i send a confirmation signature that they ask for. Yet she said i was trying to "cancel" a binding order. I was told my order was already printed and i could not "cancel" my order. They deliberately ignored my emails just to print them and say they did the job just to pin in on me. After a few angry emails with this rude person, I asked for a full refund or a report to the BBB about their HORRIBLE service and poor business running methods and cheating ways. A week has gone by since, and I was only returned partial amount of my money. They decided to keep a part of it which the lady said she was going to do because she said i need to at least pay them for the work they did(even though they were not supposed to do it because i never gave them the go ahead). Anyway, since i did not receive a full refund, i too am keeping my end of the promise i made to her, and I am submitting a report to the BBB and giving them their very well deserved reviews."

"I placed an order for custom printed party bibs with Sandscripts (and my credit card was charged) on Feb 10, 2014. I approved the design proof for the order on Feb 22, 2014. I followed up via email multiple times and called multiple times on each of those days as well. I did not receive a single response to any of my emails and only one response to an order status request via their online chat feature that simply said "Sure! Will gladly check into it and will advise." I followed up to that response twice and never heard back. As mentioned, I called their office multiple times on each of the days that I sent emails and no one answered any of their phone lines. I finally reached someone on April 21 who told me that they were just finishing up the order and that the bibs would arrive the following week. Another week and a half went by and I got ahold of them again on the phone and a man told me that now the bibs were out of stock but that I should receive them the following week (which didn't make sense to me given that the week prior I was told that they were almost complete and ready to be shipped). On May 5, they sent a notification that a UPS shipping label had been created, but nothing has been dropped off at UPS. Their website says that imprinted products generally ship within 3-14 business days. It was 70 business days before we received our product. After reading the reviews on this website, it seems that this EXACT same thing has happen to a lot of people and that some received their products crumpled up only a couple of days before their event. It is pretty clear from looking at the reviews on this website that others have had an awful experience with this company and that the company did some damage control and left reviews to counter the negative ones of their customers. I filed a complaint with the New Jersey Better Business Bureau, which I have never done before, but our product magically appeared on our doorstep the day after the complaint was filed... "

"Have a GREAT experience with this company. They are very customer oriented and work very hard to please their customers. We ordered bibs to be custom printed the week before our wedding. We had such a wonderful experience and can't wait to order them again for another event. They came perfectly with a free back and a day early. Thanks Sand Scripts! You are great!!!"

"What a terrible way to run a business! I wish I had read these reviews prior to placing my order. (Lesson Learned) I placed an order for 200 custom bibs for my wedding on November 26, 2012. I am writing this review on May 3, 2013 having NOT received my order! Since placing my order, I have called this company more than 40 times during normal business hours. I have had them answer only approximately 12 of those phone calls. Every time I called, I was brushed off. I was promised my bibs on several occasions. Every time I called, the employees/owners would act like I was bothering them. My plan was to have my bibs made into favors for my wedding by a third party. As of today, I was officially too late to have these bibs made into favors in time for my wedding. I explained back in February that I needed these bibs well before the date printed on the bibs for that reason. I sent an email 4 days ago explaining this AGAIN to them and received no response back. Today, I was finally able to get someone on the phone who just so happened to be the owner. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS COMPANY IS STILL IN BUSINESS AFTER WHAT I EXPERIENCED TODAY! I explained that they have had more than enough time to fill my order and that I wanted a refund. The owner laughed at me and said "that's not happening". I told the owner (Suzanne) that this is a lousy way to run a business and would be never be a repeat customer. Her response? "Well ma'am I hope for your sake you only get married once so you don't have to use us again" Then she hung up! I was so appalled at her lack of customer service. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau today and now have my credit card company disputing the charge for me. I have worked in customer service for over a decade. That said, I understand how trying it can be to work with the public. I consider myself a very considerate and patient customer. Before today, I had never filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I truly have never experienced such a horrendous customer service in my life! I can only hope that potential customers look here before placing an order. This company is a disgrace and have no right being in business. To those thinking of ordering from Sand Scripts: SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!"

"Wow, this company is awful. They offer NO customer service whatsoever. I called them for additional information on a personalized laminated box (planning to purchase in bulk for a corporate gift) and spoke to the same person each time, who kept promising to send me a closeup photo of the product. Their website had a photo, but it was very small and at a strange angle. After my fourth call, she did indeed send me an Email -- but it was a link to their website - which I'd already surfed. I Emailed her back to ask for clarification - or at least a follow up phone call so I could get more info, and my inquiry went totally ignored. Clearly, they do not want my business, so they shall not get it. I will take my $10,000 budget elsewhere and purchase something from a company that actually wants to help their customers. Based on the poor reviews I've seen here, I think I'm better off."

"SLOW, so i ordered 200 bibs for my wedding in Late April of 2012...i figured it would take a few weeks, My wedding was in late June so no worries right...Late May I began to get worried about my order so i called the company and they said i would ship the first Monday in June....great...When i did not receive my order the Thursday after I called again and they said it was still processing and got another shipping date. Called on that date to confirm it shipped...and it didnt. They then gave me a phony tracking number and said it would ship by the end of the day...it didnt. Finally got my bibs the Monday before my wedding..Ridiculous. I ordered the bibs almost three months before and then was lied to multiple times. I received them, but.....Not worth the trouble or the money."

"I had a FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE with this incredibly wonderful company. They well understand quality products and fast service. I blinked and had a proof with numerous choices, made some changes, got another proof and the bibs I ordered are here already! The price was very low and I cant wait to order another set for another wedding I will be in. "TERRIBLE! This company is just awful. I ordered custom printed bibs over a month before my wedding and was billed immediately for them. They asked what date my wedding was, and assured me that I would definitely have them by then. I called them a few weeks later to ask about the status of my order and was told it was in processing. I called again a few days later to ask for a tracking number and was not able to get ahold of anyone. I emailed and didn't get a response back. I even used the "live chat" option and did not receive any information until the next evening. It finally got to the point where I had to call them daily to hound them for my order and threaten to have the bank cancel the order because the product would be of absolutely no use to me whatsoever AFTER the day of my wedding. I got it the afternoon before my wedding. 150 bibs folded on themselves and crammed into a box. They were printed terribly, and crumpled and torn. This company is a total disgrace."
