"Ordered a Barebone System on Saturday Feb, 21st. Decided to add the Ultra cooling heatsink Monday and they did that for me with no problems. PC shipped Thursday the 26th and I received it Monday March 2nd. Case, Motherboard, CPU and RAM were all installed. The memory card reader and hard drive were also installed. They included all the parts in bags and all the original boxes were included. Only thing they forgot to do was to hook up the top and back fans but that was an easy fix. Overall I was extremely satisfied with their services. I would order again in the future when I need a new PC. "

"I ordered on 2/27 and according to my tracking number my package should arrive today 3/5. After having dropped 550 bucks on a computer I would have thought it would have shipped faster. I will write more when my package arrives. I'm hoping everything is the right product and in working order. I'm a little nervous after reading some of the reviews on this site, although the more recent ones seem to have been better. Phone tech support is helpful, but I wouldn't bother sending an email to their support.

Ok i was wrong, i placed my order on Feb 20th, it shipped on the 27th, arrived on 3/05. Everything was correct, and the shipping was good. My barebones pc came pre assembled, and double boxed(i paid the extra few bucks for premium shipping.) I could also see that they knocked out a slot for a PCI-E video card when the tested my system, which was a good giveaway that they did do a start-up check prior to shipping. My computer is up and running right now, and is amazingly fast. Between 50 and 80 fps for Age of Conan with graphics maxed. Overall I was satisfied with SMK, although after I ordered I read a few reviews that almost made me want to cancel my order. Those reviews however were old, and I must say that SMK had a good deal, and delivered good products. My only gripes are that it took 7 days(5 business) to ship my pc, also the RAM on there website was a bit overpriced, I prob could have gotten some cheaper from elsewhere. Overall I give SMK a B+."

"I ordered a new Western Digital Harddrive on January 6th. It arrived 9 days later on the 15th, in non-working order. The drive made a clicking sound at startup and couldn't be read by my computer.

I shipped the drive back the next day. It was received by SMK on the 22nd of January. I was never sent an email or notification that it was being processed.

I was never refunded for the return, and had to call in three weeks later on February 11th. After calling they acknowledged the return was received, and processed the return. However, I was only partially refunded.

I lost shipping, paid for extra shipping for the return, and paid 15% for restocking a broken part.

End result: I paid $27.24 to a bad company for nothing."

"I found the SMKSuperStore.com website extremely easy to use. Even though the price shown on PriceWatch.com was only a "teaser," the site was nonetheless very straightforward and all discrepancies were explained.

The main thing I have to say, however, is that I was really impressed by the way all the options worked together--especially the real time updates of the total price--and the fact that every click yielded *EXACTLY* the expected results.

The only criticism I would offer is that I would like to see more options available and more information about each option. A side-by-side comparison of the different options' features would be nice, too.

Having said this, though, let me repeat my congratulations for putting together such an excellent website. I have visited so many sites (not only PC parts sites, either!) where the options are confusing and the results even more confusing, that this one was truly a breath of fresh air!
