Appear to be out of business

"I had been a long time satisfied customer.
Placed my most recent order for $513 worth of pads in August.
Never shipped. Never delivered.
Phones were disconnected. Promises and conflicting excuses via email.
I finally cancelled the order in late October.
I was promised a refund to my credit card that day.
Needless to say, it never came.
I can understand that a company can run into problems.
But, this is no excuse for repeated lies and broken promises.
Naturally, I have disputed the credit card charge. But, I expect that RPC is probably now out of business.

Worst Customer Service on the planet!!!

"Worst customer service in the world. I have messaged the company 4 different times trying to get information on the status of my order. I never received a confirmation email so I contacted the company with my order number and they sent my confirmation in a reply. I was told it would ship the next week but nothing. Everytime I contacted them I received an automated reply with an excuse of why they were behind on orders, from inclimate weather to a flooded warehouse. It has been about two plus weeks with no real information from the company as to the status of my order. The only thing they have done on time and quickly was charge my credit card for the rug pad. Worst rug pad company on the planet hands down. Taking your money and burning it would be more satisfying."

FRAUDULENT BUSINESS

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY or BEST RUG PADS.
This is a fraudulent business. They will take orders (and your money) and never send you a product, while continuing to send fake updates and fraudulent tracking information. Their 800 number isn't even in service.

This Company is a Fraud

"This company and everything about it is a fraud. They will charge your CC and not ship the product. He plays it off as if it is a legit company but I did a background check and everything the owner say's are lies. If this company has stolen money from you like he did with us please file a complaint on-line with the Attorney Generals Office in CT. This guy needs to be prosecuted!!!"

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!

"I have had the same run around experience with the automated emails that others are describing. First it was moving locations suddenly, then it was the death of their mom, then it was a couple instances of waiting for supply shipments to arrive. All the while the same excuse for the phone line being dead with the dates conveniently shifting to a day or two in the future. I have also noticed that they are no longer USGBC members and don't show up as a Green America Certified business when you search the Green American website. I only received an actual email once I threatened legal action against them, and this was nearly a month after making the order. They said they would be shipping my rug pad that day but I instead demanded the order be cancelled and asked for a refund.... which is currently being processed. "

"Okay, so they moved their office; I get that there’d be a little delay, but didn’t respond to phone calls or email asking about an ETA. No apology either. They shipped on the day I threatened to contact my credit card company and get my money back. I’ll purchase elsewhere next time. "

LONG wait for delivery!

"It took over a month for my pad to be delivered. They would respond to emails, always saying it was "ready to ship" the following day, but didn't. I FINALLY got it today! The pad seems great, but time will tell. Not happy with the time it took to get it, or with false information."

Do not order a rug pad from this company

"It has been several weeks since I ordered a rug pad from this company and they do not respond to email. the phone goes directly to a voicemail which will not be returned. I have canceled my order as my rug is still rolled up in my living room because the pad has not arrived. I had to cancel my transaction with the bank. Do not order merchandise from this company."

Communication

"I ordered my rug pad and was told that it would ship within 5 - 7 business days. On day 7, I sent them an email asking about the shipment. A day later They sent me an email explaining that they were having supplier problems and should get their materials by December 21st. I haven’t heard a word from them since. Are they closed for the week since Christmas was Tuesday. I don’t know. As of now, I have no idea when or even if I’ll ever receive my rugpad. You would think that they would have been proactive and immediately sent out notice of supplier problems, not wait for a customer inquiry. And you’d think that they would keep you informed of the status of your order. So far, I’m not impressed with this company."
