warranty is a lie

"I bought a set of furniture and purchased the extended warranty, because after 16 months the furniture is damaged, the thread has come out of the seam and they simply say that it is due to use, the extended warranty is definitely a lie, I had I thought about buying again but I won't do it again, don't waste your money"

"If I could give them 0 stars, I would! I urge everyone to please be aware of rooms to go!!!!!!! Where the furniture seems beautiful until you get it home. I'm Tammy Chapman and I was so happy to have purchased my brand new sectional and a dining room set, until the sectional that I bought worked for about a month before all the issues started. First the electrical system stopped working and has never started working again. Second the dining room chairs started cracking and ripping and it hasn't stopped yet. No worries, that's why you get insurance right? Wrong. Rooms To Go, what is the point of having insurance that doesn't cover anything? I called and spoke with a customer service agent from Rooms To Go in April of 2022 who told me they would create and submit the claim to the insurance company but that was just a broken promise. My claim was NEVER submitted. I then called back and I was advised to contact the insurance company and file a claim with them and so I did just that... SEVERAL times. I called over and over and spoke with many different reps because no one was contacting me about my issue. By the hundredth phone call (of course i'm exaggerating, but it was many phone calls later) I was informed that I was already outside of the time frame for coverage. This is so unacceptable on so many levels. I've been trying to get this issue resolved for almost a year now with no help from neither Rooms To Go nor the insurance company. I'm paying A LOT of money for furniture that doesn't work and is ripping more and more by the day. I WILL be contacting Action 9 and the Better Business Bureau since Rooms To Go refuses to assist a loyal customer. "

Bedroom set

"Delivery guys were awesome, however my bedroom set was a Qieen size, but the base for the adjust mattress was a king size! Who makes a mistake like that! Now I have to wait for them to decide when they will deliver the correct one! I will definitely be going back to Badcock furniture! So disgusted with RTG!!!"

The absolute worst delivery available in the DFW METROPLEX

"Rooms to go delivery department is a total scam they charge you and the delivery drivers have nasty bad attitude and customer care is so overwhelmed In customer complaints that they told me they couldn’t help me I purchased a queen bed chest of drawers and nightstand the delivery drivers showed up on time and spent all of 7 minutes unloading the truck and took all the furniture in the bedroom and went to there truck and called customer care and lied and said I had to much old furniture in the room to set up new furniture here’s a news flash I spent a good part of the day before cleaning up that room I have before and after pictures I have those two recorded on my ring doorbell moving all the furniture in less than 7 minutes ROOMS TO GO DELIVERY DRIVERS ARE VERY RUDE AND OFFENSIVE IM ABSOLUTELY SURE THESE TWO HAVE DONE THIS MANY TIMES BEFORE AND SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. They walked out of my house at 54 degrees outside left my door wide open and went and sat in the warmth of there truck. I am a 58 year old man struggling with lung cancer I have 54 percent of my lung capacity I paid to have this delivered and set up cleans the room because it’s going to be very difficult for me to do this but customer care really dose not CARE. I have ordered a table and chairs from here I’m going to cancel it I truly feel I will never shop at a RTG store the whole delivery department needs an overhaul.Y"

Buyers beware!

"Very disappointed! Purchased a sectional couch and not even TWO years of having it, one of the cushions is ripping at the seams in MULTIPLE areas! Purchased an "extended warranty" and they denied the claim because rios at seams is a MANUFACTURER defect and is only covered for ONE year! Are you freaking kidding me?!? DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! I repeat..... DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Waste of money!"

Liars

"I purchased almost 3k of bedroom furniture. It needed to be delivered in multiple parts. Today was supposed to be the last. It's 337 and still no furniture. I've had to call customer service all day. I was told it would be late. Then I was told they were denied at the gate. Then I was blamed and told I never answered the phone. They are Liars and thieves. Poor product, not worth the price not worth the headaches. Buy your furniture ANYWHERE else Then rooms to go. "

Horrible Service

"I normally don’t do review furniture but you guys need to be aware of how room to go customer deliver need some serious work. We had our furniture deliver July 3 and everything was great until the driver inform me that one of the three seater couch did not make In to the truck. My questions was why is not on the truck they just forgot it. That is unacceptable I had to wait for end table to be deliver July 24, 2021 only to find out that the three seater sofa have modem issues and that is not working properly. Now I have to call customer service and deal with them for a problem that is from factory. I am currently waiting 30 minutes and still waiting for customer service to answer my call to report the problem. I am not sure if this acceptable but in my book this unacceptable for 4,000 dollar couch. Also room to go didn’t even offer a discount of $50.00 to be used in the store only. For all the problem we encounter. Furniture look amazing but the customer service and delivery need a lot of improvement because the deliver person tested the modem before leaving and he didn’t notice the horrible noise coming from the modem once it is retracting. This is unacceptable. "

Horrible customer service- will never purchase anything again at Rooms to Go!

"I ordered a children's bunk bed on Memorial Day. The earliest they said they could deliver was July 9th. Annoying, but I choose to still go ahead with the purchase. The day before the arrival, we got rid of the bed to make room for the new bed. The delivery men arrived and noticed that they had received two wrong pieces in a completely different color and could not assemble the bed with the incorrect pieces. Called customer service. They never apologized for the mistake but only said we can get you the correct pieces in two weeks. That is unacceptable in my book! They made the mistake and now I had to wait an additional two weeks for the bed. Plus I got rid of the other bed and kid had to sleep in a cot for two weeks in my bedroom since all the remaining pieces had taken over the room. I emailed customer service as well and expressing my frustration and asking them to make it right. They responded a week later and said that the issue was resolved. So frustrating! I will never purchase anything again from them! I hope this helps other be aware before they consider buying anything from Rooms to Go!"
