I bought the Gavin Linea and initially had some "balance" issues that are now resolved... this is a super light, super quick tri bike... I am doing better times then on my $5k Trek (up to 12 miles distance).. only negative is the seat tears me a new a-hole each time I use it, but slowly I am toughening up... really an uber fast bike and it is okay even on the rough roads out here in the Hamptons... 92/100 rating"

"Bike was received as promised and delivered in decent shape. One of the bolts came loose and the washer and nut were in the box - but I found them. The bike assembly instructions left a little to be desired - but the bike itself appears to be very good quality - light weight and durable in appearance "

"This is the second bike that I bought from Road Bike Outlet and I have been pleased with both purchases. My son more or less confiscated the first bike I bought. It was a flat bar fixie/SS and I acquired a yen for a drop bar fixie/SS and bought this one. I love it. I like resting my hands on the hoods of the brakes, its very comfortable. The components are mostly no-name, but work well. The bikes steel frame feels great. The bottom bracket is old school (non cartridge}. The crank is no-name (looks like a Sunlite}. The brakes are also no-name. The thing is that these components work well together and are totally adequate. I don't think that you can get a comparable bike anyplace but here for the price.
Right now, Wally World is selling a single speed for the same price. It has an aluminum frame {no thank you}, a cheap threaded headset, crappy looking brakes and brake levers and a 42t crank.
The bottom line is I love this bike and I think you get your moneys worth. Leave it as is and enjoy it or take that nice steel frame and customize to your hearts content. "

"I have been looking for a bike to either ride on the road or to eventually go racing. I was very excited to get this package to see what was inside. This is a very well made bike and they are right on with their description. They send extra parts just in case something happens to the ones on the bike. It also comes with all technical support packages that helps you tune, put together or adjusting the bike. It was very easy to read how to put it together. I would recommend getting the pro build that way they already tune it and lube all the connections up. I had this done to my bike and I was very happy with what they sent me. I have had this bike a week and have 75 miles on it already and as soon as I hit 100 miles I'm going to take it into a bike shop to get it tuned again. And again the bike is perfect it couldn't look any better and the components on the bike are really good. I am very pleased with this bike and this purchase!!!"

"I just got my Gavin Fisso yesterday, was boxed very well, all parts were there however when I tried to put on the front wheel, it wouldnt fit, one of the fork dropouts was a couple mm too small, so i emailed roadbikeoutlet and let them know i was dissapointed, within hours they emailed me back apologizing and offered to send me a new fork, well being the impatient person i am i filed the fork dropout myself with a metal file, and it worked, just got back from riding the fisso and am very pleased with it actually.My first fixed gear and its a blast."
