"I purchased a Lightning Pack 4000N and 8 Sanyo batteries from RipVan100 about a year ago. I've been very happy with their performance, and have recommended them to 2 of my friends, one of whom just placed an order last week, the other friend ordered last fall. The package arrived quite promptly. We're very happy with their service.

Also, RipVan100 has good tech support if you need help with a problematic charger. They replaced my first one without any hassle when a connector came loose on it. Good on them :)

"Ordered the Web Special - 8 Sanyo 1700mAh Cells & 1 LP4000N Recharger w/ 1 Tube Velope on November 16, 2002. After I went through the complete ordering process, the confirmation e-mail contained the following: *Notice*
Due to unforeseen demand, the Lightning Pack 4000N is on backorder until November 19. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. That was the first that I knew that the item was not in stock. It is now 8:40 PM on November 19. I have not received any e-mails from RipVan100 concerning my order. Do I seem impatient? You bet, since they charged my credit card for the purchase on the 16th even though the item was on back order.
UPDATE: I e-mailed RipVan100 on Nov. 20th at 7:15am & inquired about my order. Received a reply at 10:30am the same day stating that the items were due in the next day. Items were indeed shipped out the next day - November 21. Received the Items on November 23. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the Sanyo "Green" NiMH AA batteries and the Lightning Pack 4000N battery charger. As of today, December 6, 2002, all items have performed as advertised. I will not hesitate to return to RipVan100.com when the need arises for additional batteries & battery chargers.
