"I know everyone comes on here to say about how awful a company is but I thought I would take the time to disclose how happy I am with Big Box services, I ordered my TV online and it came within 5 Days all BRAND NEW FACTORY SEALED and much much cheaper than my local BESTBUY!!I unpacked it and inspected it for damage and had it on my wall in about another day.

All my friends keep saying how they want to come to my house to watch the games because of the picture.

"Ordered a Samsung television through Big Box after a recommendation from one of my coworkers. Was concerned about getting the correct high priced item over the internet, the process of shipping and receiving in one piece and customer service. All my worries were relieved when my television arrived in 5 days from when I ordered it. I am still cautious about delivery so I purchased the white glove delivery. The delivery men placed the TV in the room I wanted it in, plugged it in and tested the TV for me. They beat the price of BestBuy and Costco by hundreds of dollars even after including the price of their "White glove" delivery."

"I'm not going to lie, I was quite skeptical going into my purchase with Big Box, but it was a great price on an excellent television. I purchased a Samsung 50" LED that was going for well over $400 everywhere else. When I entered my information as well as a coupon code their website gave me, I received an email asking me to call them back regarding my order. I thought...here we go, this must be what everyone is talking about. I called, and all they needed was to verify the information I had given them. A week later, I received my television, and I could not be happier. The driver not only carried it into my apartment (I'm on the second floor and my elevator is being repaired), he unboxed it and plugged it in to make sure that it was working. There were no strong arm tactics, no up sell, no bait and switch. I don't know what all the negative buzz is about, but I have nothing but good things to say about this company.

Thank you Big Box SuperStore. I definitely look forward to doing business with you in the future.

"This place isnt for everyone, but if you know what you want and your willing to deal with a little haggling, it can be great - especially if you are buying something expensive and having it shipped to NYC, because you will save a ton on the tax. I bought a tv a week ago from this place, the price they had was cheaper than the price on Amazon and I would not have to pay tax, so it was great. I knew they would probably try to upsell me on white glove delivery, but I was ok with that since I had saved so much money already and I dont have a doorman, so picking my delivery date is kind of important. I was a little annoyed that the white glove delivery provides so little, it basically lets you decide when you want the delivery to come, but they do not set up the tv for you - all they do is open the box and plug in the tv to see if it turns on (they dont even let you hook up a source to see the actual picture) and they do not set the tv up on the stand. I also had to call the delivery guys twice because they never called me to let me know when they would be coming. So overall I saved about $200 on my 60 inch tv vs getting it on Amazon, but I got white glove delivery which was more convenient (lets face it, no one at amazon would have even opened the box for me). Although they do still owe me a hdmi cable which they said they would mail separately... It's definitely not a retailer for everyone, but if you can deal with the little issues you definitely get a better deal/price and a little bit better delivery service.

"Amazing service and very customer-oriented. Purchased my Samsung 32" HDTV online from this vendor, and they shipped it to me by the next day. For the pain of paying expedited shipping, they threw in a free HDMI cable for me! It initially didn't come with the TV, but when I realized the mistake A MONTH later and called them regarding it, they sent it to me right away-no questions asked! (I didn't notice the missing cable at first because my service provider gave one as well...)"

"I just bought a TV from them and the experience was wonderful.  The price was $400 cheaper then Best Buy and with the tax savings, I got the tv for about $600 cheaper then I could have at my local Best Buy.  It's funny but I did try to get Best Buy to match their price and they refused. 
I ordered my TV online and immediately received a call from a sales rep.  They did not try to up-sell anything to me and even offered white glove at no additional charge.  The tv was delivered less then a week later and the delivery company gave me a 2 hour window and they arrived on time.  The "white glove" delivery was just plugging in the tv to make sure it works.  My only recommendation would be to make sure the white glove includes actually setting up the tv, which in my opinion it should have included.
All in all, I would absolutely buy all my electronics from them going forward.

"This place is a scam. Typical bait and switch. After I placed my order, they called and informed me that the Samsung 55hu9000 that I ordered was a commercial version, that didn't include any of the accessories, even though they were listed on their website as coming with the TV. The price seemed to good to be true, and it was!!!"

I ordered a Samsung UN55HU7250 55" Class 4K Ultra Hz Curved Smart LED TVD 120H on Sunday 11/11/2014 from BigBoxSuperStore.com. After the entire discounts goodies, it came to $1,259.30. On Monday I received an e-mail to call and confirm of the order, and after W-A-I-T-I-N-G on the phone I was told that I must of missed some (fine print) and that apparently the TV must have grown between time that I ordered and the phone call, because the promised "FREE WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY," now cost $314.00 because of its size and some of the discount goodies, also vanished as now it would cost $1,589.00.

"I ordered a Samsung UN75HU8550 from Bigboxsuperstore for $3,479.99. I received an email the next day asking me to call them, and when I did they told me that was a "commercial model" and that a "residential model" with all the accessories would cost $4,799 -- a classic bait and switch, When I said that the commercial model would be fine, they put me on hold and didn't come back to the phone. When I then called back, they said their computer system was down and couldn't help me. I then sent them a letter via FedEx asking them to honor their price and the transaction and they still haven't responded. So I checked out the Better Business Bureau website and found that they had an F rating and that this kind of stuff had happened before. I thought that if they were on Google shopping they would be reputable, but I guess I'm wrong. Google should protect its users and should not allow them to be on Google shopping.
****** They then asked me to revise the review. Here it is:

You have to play the game to get a low price. The game includes an incredibly low Google Shopping price to get you in the door, a request to call them to verify the order, and a conversation where they justify they additional costs they want you to pay. It may be bait and switch, but that is the reality of the marketplace today. You have to negotiate and push and then decide if the price after such upcharges is still a good one and worth the risk of delivery. If you decide to play this game, Big Box Superstore will give you this lower price. It will be higher than originally quoted but still lower than you can buy the product at a conventional retailer.

If a price is too low to be true, it probably is. Retailers use Google Shopping to get you into their websites, and then they invent and/or disclose reasons why the price needs to be higher. These reasons, some of which are outlined below, are generally bogus and illegal, but these retailers are willing to risk any repercussions in order to attract a steady stream of customers. After all, these are retailers that would never get your business otherwise and so they are willing to bear the risks as part of their doing business. They know that it is not cost effective for you to sue them over such small amounts, so their major risks are negative reviews (which can be mitigated by bogus good reviews), poor Better Business Bureau grades, and local prosecution. Because there plenty of consumers that want these low prices, there will be a steady stream of customers despite the bad reviews and BBB grades until Google Shopping adequately polices itself. (And the fact that Google is making money on Google Shopping suggests a conflict of interest towards adequate policing.)

Some of the reasons used to justify the higher priceinclude:

• advertised TV has a supposedly inferior panel (you are asked to Google "panel lottery," which is a joke that suggests that Samsung would risk its reputation by using inferior panels)
• extra shipping charges on oversized items (even though their Google Shopping price states free shipping, as does their product page)
• extra insurance
• customs duty because the TV is being shipped from another country (usually Canada)
• commercial version of the TV for business use only, not valid for residential use OR with no accessories, which are extra.

It is not ethical (no matter how the seller justifies it) but it is the reality of the marketplace right now. If you want the lower prices these merchants offer, you must deal with it, negotiate smartly, and be willing to pay higher prices than advertised. You must decide whether the ultimate price savings (vs more reputable retailers) is worth dealing with these bogus issues and risking that you might get the wrong product. As a lawyer, I know that none of their reasons would stand up in court.

This is why I changed my initial review and rating for Big Box Superstore. They unfairly tried to upcharge me, but after this initial review, they agreed to reduce their upcharge (this time $585 for shipping and insurance instead of the residential/commercial model excuse) so that the price was $4,065, not the $4,799 they first tried to obtain from me, but still higher than the $3,479. price originally given to me). Their final price with the lower upcharge was about $300 less than other similar retailers. Once I agreed to the upcharges, they delivered what they said they would -- a new TV ("same as I would find in Best Buy") with a valid US warranty. -- and shipped it right away. They also asked me to change my rating in order to get the price. because I had already discovered the reality of this lower end retailing, I knew that my rating would increase to reflect this new understanding.

Caveat emptor.

They are the best of a bad bunch, and their ultimate price was the lowest of the similar retailers I checked.
