KDS 450S 6CH RC Helicopter RTF 2.4GHz w/ Flymentor Installed, Brushless Motor

When it arrived it wasn't RTF. It was missing servo wheels, the receiver, and the Flymentor. The packaging wasn't great and the funny part was it had a Quality Control sticker that said it passed QC. Customer service was ok. They called the factory in China and had them ship the missing parts. The Flymentor finally got here 2 days ago and the receiver and servo wheels made it today. I can't say anything about RC Helicopter Select as this is the first time I've done business with them and they didn't ship the Heli.
I can say that this is the first and last time I'll do business with KDS. I bought this as an RTF. It's everything but. As of yet I haven't assembled and set it up. Hopefully It will fly as well as my trex 450. Either way I'm done with KDS. If it needs parts I'll use Trex 450 replacement parts. I'm not telling anyone what they should buy. I'm just relaying my experience with the product."

"on the 18th of august i put in an order for HSP 94861 truggy. the order was processed then about a week later i recieved an email saying this item was out of stock, they two different ones HSP 94862 truck or HSP 94863 rally car, i chose the truck a day later they sent another email say that this was also out of stock and that the rally car was the only one left, i chose to with draw my orderand receive a full refund. RC Helicopter Select sent two email saying your order has been canceled and you will receive your refund in 3-5 days on the 25th of august 2011, i still have not received any money. I have filed a complaint with th BBB and aparently the company has not returned communication to them. I accepted their offer but now they have stopped all communication with me and the BBB.

After posting the comments below I received a reply that they would accept my return regardless of the fact that the helicopter crashed. They asked me to return the helicopter for credit. They also went on to indicate that they were accepting the return due to the fact that the unit they sold me was not very good quality and they were no longer selling them.(by the way, they are the ones that reccomended the unit and they still sell the same model).

1 month after shipping the item back to them they sent an e-mail to me saying that they could not accept the return because of their return policy. They offered to repair it and sell it on e-bay and aplly the amount as a credit. (watch out e-bayers)

My overall opinion of this company is that of a single guy with a website drop sellimng from China. From other comments I'd say they are hit and miss. If you can find the same product somewhere else probably better to do that. I have advised them that they can keep the whole thing and that I will just buy a new one somewhere else.

I purchased a MAX 8828 which after watching a youtube video from their site, was sure this would be a very good product for my needs. I was also encouraged by the online staff that this was a good choice. Shippping was good and the price was right. However the product is either defective or not at all like the one in the video. I have tried on 4 occasions to communicate with them and seem to get the runaround. I am sending another email today in hopes that we can fix the situation."
