"On 6/5/2008, I ordered a Panasonic TH50PZ700U. When I called to confirm, they said that the model is refurbished with 90 days manufacturer warranty ( instead of 1 year), even though on their website, they do not list it as "Refurbished". ( I assume the item is brand-new if they do not say otherwise).

I canceled the order.

This company is not very up-front about what they sell. I will never order from this company again.

"I had ordered a Sony TV model on-line via their website on 5/22. A sales person called me that evening and informed me that while they had this TV in stock, this model had been discontinued. He convinced me that it made more sense for me to spend $50 more for the replacement model which had much better technical specs. I was favorably impressed with the sales person, but from that point on, the experience turned fairly negative. I received a confirmation number that showed a shipping date of 5/23, the day after I made the call. The website showed no tracking number, however, so I wasn't able to track the order. I had paid for expedited shipping with a maximum 6-business day delivery guarantee. The set arrived in good condition on 6/4, which was just 8-business days after I placed my order, so I guess that's not all that bad. However, whenever I called to get tracking information, none was available and I was promised each time that I would receive e-mails that never were sent. Each time I spoke to anyone in their service department I was treated like an annoyance. The only person who seemed interested in helping me was the guy who took the original order. Their prices are competitive, they just have to work on improving their customer service reps' attitude and do a better job with the delivery of their products."

"This is company is a ripoff, WORST I've ever dealt with, totally unethical, I was lied to every time I talked with them. Now they have $5000 of my money which they have promised to refund multiple times over 2 months. One month old dispute with credit card company is ongoing. Don't believe a word they say!!"

"Guys sell what they do not stock. When I placed on-line order for LCD TV, it was posted as "in stock, ship in 2-3 business days". On-line order required phone call with the order conformation over the phone which is good security measure. When I called to confirm the order I was told that item was not in stock and was not expected to be available for at least 2 weeks. Though it was easy to cancel the order.
Checked their web site every other day - item was still posted as "in stock".

"My order for a Sony LCD HDTV included "expedited shipping" for delivery within 7 to 9 days. It is now May 1` ands it is yet to be delivered. I have called the merchant several times and sent seveeral emails. the phone calls get put on hold and nobody responds after that. The emaials are never responded to. They claim that the merchandise has been "shipped", but they cannot give a delivery date. The latest is that they "processed" the order only on April 23 (whsat happened in the six days between the placement of the order and this processing date?)
and that the 7 to nine days commenced only after the processing date of April 23. They have already charged my credit card on the 23rd, yet cannot give me a delivery date.

These people are completely unprofessional and do not know the meaning of the phrase "customer service". They treat the customer with utter disddain and do not care if the customer is satisfied or frustrated.

I shall never ever deal with this merchant again, if only to save myself the aggravation and frustration of dealing with them. The couple of hundred dollars in savings is not worth the aggravation.

I shall definitely recommend anyone to reads this post to stay away from this merchant.
