Couldn’t be less impressed

"Claimed they had parts in stock and received an estimated delivery date 5 business days out. More than 2 weeks later “I” emailed them to find out status, only to find out they were out of stock, parts back ordered and might possibly get a shipment in 4-5 weeks."

Poor shipping

"On 7/17/19 I ordered a part and was told it would arrive around 7/24/19. (1 week)

When it had not arrived by 7/30/19, (2 weeks) I attempted to track its location. When I clicked on the tracking icon, I was transferred to a page on which I could create an account. It had NO tracking information. I then called and was told that the company did not know where my part was. They told me they would email me when they discovered the whereabouts of my part. I explained that I needed this part immediately - that waiting for the part had already caused considerable problems. With all the heat I was concerned about the pool becoming a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Later the same day I received an email saying it would be 3 - 6 days before they could get more from the manufacturer and was told it could be at least another week before it would arrive. (3 weeks)

At this point I started looking elsewhere for parts since the delay meant the pool pump would be out of commission even longer.

Much to my surprise, the company over-nighted the parts and I received them 7/31/19. So while they came through in the end, there was considerable delay and no way to track the order.

Great Pricing !! ....as I know what they paid... whoops

"I accidentally purchased a complete Spa Pack here that I did not think was available from my wholesale supply house. After I received it, I recognized the item code format and realized I could have bought it direct through my account at the same warehouse. So of course I logged into my wholesale portal to see how badly I screwed up and was pleased that the markup was minimal, I mean less than 4% which is less than you would pay for state sales tax. For the average consumer, you can consider PoolSupplyWorld as your personal Wholesale supply without going through a middleman. Also, the pack was a perfect match to integrate with all the existing Gecko plugs and plumbing. I installed it pretty quick and no complaints. :) Thx, AJ SpaFire Technologies, LLC"

When is PLASTIC considered STAINLESS STEEL

"We ordered 2 new Stainless Steel (SS) rails for our pool, and 2 SS escutcheons. All were advertised as stainless steel, and we even ordered over the phone to verify. The 2 escutcheons arrived and they were 100% plastic. A 50 cent piece of Chrome colored PLASTIC for $21/each. We contacted Pool Supply World and the Customer Service rep (nice, and the only reason this is a 2 instead of a 1 rating) said there must be an error, as it clearly said Stainless Steel on the site. Would I like a refund and keep the plastic (pretty sure that's what I heard), or would I like to return and get the right product, since the warehouse probably pulled the wrong item. I wanted to return and get the right product to match the new rails we're getting, and the facelift we're giving our pool. He sends me the info to return.

I then talked to the rep in returns and was told what I had was the right product. They used to be chrome plated brass, but now they're chrome plated plastic. Believe me … they're just chrome colored shiny plastic. I said to give me a refund and we'd clean up the old ones and use them. They send the label to return, but in the meantime, the new rails arrived and they are made slightly different (a different bend where they go in the mounts), but the same Model # we have. They'll fit in the mounts embedded in the decking, but the old escutcheons won't fit properly. I have to use the plastic ones, that's my only option.

I called Pool Supply World and explained the situation. I didn't get what was "as advertised" as I got plastic instead of Stainless Steel, they were $21/each (which is joke), and I was hoping I could at least get a credit or lower price for the non SS product. The response was a resounding "No". Even though the initial contact with Customer Service was to get a refund and they'd let me keep the plastic ones anyway (I'm confident I heard this right, but I may be wrong), now the response is that we won't even give you a discount for getting PLASTIC instead of SS. Unacceptable customer service, and as far as I'm concerned … clear false advertising. Even their staff said (when I spoke with them) that it said SS on the website.

UPS better than FEDEX

"It took 3 attempts to finally get my order even tho I was home the whole time. Fedex rings the bell and leaves quickly. I had no idea what time it would be delivered. I am not going to stand at the door all day. I have yard stuff that needs to be done, etc.

I finally had to call them and ask for a text before delivery, even then, I was waiting for an hour and half hoping I wouldn't miss the delivery.

I don't know what the problem is. I ordered these same chemicals and more from Amazon and they don't need a signature. I even left a signed note for FEDEX leaving my signature for the product.

With all the stress and hassle, I rather order from Amazon frustration free and faster delivery free. The product was already paid for.

Hope that you will change this deliveriy carrier for customer service.

Horrible Customer Service

"Tried to get information on ordering a new pump for my pool. I was transferred from person to person. I ended up with the wrong pump. I had to keep calling for a return label. They received it back and took their time refunding me. I was told there are a lot of people a head of me. Terrible Customer Service. Would not recommend using them. "
