BUYER BEWARE! Terrible Experience after initial review!

"Update: Editing my review after actually going through the process further with Plessers. First of all, this review is about Plessers and their shipping company that they used. After ordering our appliances at the beginning of August, we were told we would have them in hand by the end of the month. As we approached the end of the month, we were told that one of the appliances would be delayed so they would split-ship them so we weren't waiting for everything to arrive. After we got into September, I was finally given a delivery date from the 3rd party shipper who said they had received the appliances. On the day before the confirmed delivery, I was told that the 3rd party shipper in fact did not have the appliances and could not tell me where they were. When I tried to contact Plessers, I was told that the shipper must be wrong and that I needed to wait for them to figure out what was going on. At this point we were in mid-September so I told Plessers I wanted to cancel my order. I wasn't getting any information from them and was also notified that the appliance that was initially delayed would be again until October. My cancelation request didn't sound as if it was being taken seriously so I filed a chargeback with my credit card company. After filing this chargeback, I was finally told that they could give me a discount if I still accepted the appliances. Given the delays and the uncertainty around delivery, we eventually decided to cancel the order since another appliance had been delayed. Plessers agreed to not fight the dispute and to let the appliances be returned from WA to NY.

After all of this took place, to my surprise the appliances were still delivered. Sounds like an awesome win right? NO! This was while I wasn't home, I had workers doing some things around the house and they decided to drop the appliances in my garage without permission. I got a phone call from the 3rd party shippers saying that they needed my signature before they could leave. I told them that the appliances were part of a canceled order but I was told since they were a subcontractor of the shipping company that they couldn't take the appliances back without their permission. I called Plessers and let them know what was happening so they could come pickup their appliances. I was then harassed by the 3rd party company about when they could come back, basically telling me when they would show up at my house even though I told them I wouldn't be available. This happened multiple times to the point where I had to escalate to their supervisors to get them to leave me alone while I tried to find time for them to come pickup their appliances after their mistake.

Long story short, I was finally compensated for my time in order for them to pickup their appliances. I thought about keeping the appliances since I already had my money back, but I literally wanted nothing to do with Plessers or A1 distribution at this point. Oh and by the way all of this wasn't actually resolved until October. Thanks for causing over a month delay in the timeline of my project!

BUYER BEWARE! Pricing may be good but think twice about the headache of this. I went local and couldn't be happier even if it ended up costing a bit more in the end.

The Epitomy of How A Business Should Serve Its Customers

"We had problems with receiving our $5,000 + LG order from Best Buys. It had been 3 months and still on backorder, so we cancelled it. Fortunately, we came across Plesser's Appliance while searching on Google. When we called they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the top of the line Washer and Dryer set with pedestal and sidekick 1 cu ft washer. We asked if they knew what was going on and they confirmed that LG did not produce enough to satisfy demand. After discussing this problem for a while, we decided to purchase the 2016 model in white instead. Basically, it was the same set of appliances with a few minor improvements we could do without and what a savings; over $2500. The only drawback was it was only available in white instead of the black stainless we wanted. Guess what? The white was perfect and we actually prefer that color as we painted the room silver gray. Not only was this purchase cheaper, Plesser's gave us a 10 year warranty and full support. Not only that they were delivered free from NY to Philadelphia and unpacked in our home. PA. We only had to call them once with a question not pertaining to the set. The set has performed well, especially the 1 cu ft sidekick pedestal washer and we are very happy with our choice and with Plesser's. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Buy from Plesser's and you will have no problems or future worries. "

M. Aziz is a an appliance encyclopedia

"I have to admit that at first I was hesitant to shop at Plesser's. About 10 years ago, I was looking for a grill and was not treated well by a former employee and vowed never to return. However in my search for a particular microwave, I was recommended by a family member to try Plesser's as they had a good selection. So I decided to give it a shot. I was greeted by M. Aziz and in the hour or so I spent with him I learned a huge amount of information about so many appliances I had been researching. My main objective was a convection microwave and M. Aziz not only educated me on the different qualities of each brand, he explained the differences in stainless steel when redoing a kitchen. In doing so, he actually guided me to a much less expensive model that would blend with my new cabinets and appliances rather than mislead me into a more expensive purchase I may not have been happy with. In fact when I saw the same model somewhere else for less money, he quickly adjusted the price for me. I am now happy to be a Plesser's customer again. It was M. Aziz's professionalism that has helped me to gain my trust in this business once more. He is an asset to that store.

THIS GUY IS GREAT! --> BARRY DUBIN of Plesser's Appliance

"Barry handles internet sales and he was very helpful and very well informed about the KitchenAid built-in refrigerator that I had questions about. This is the kind of experienced person that you want to make a major purchase from. He knows the important details about the products that Plesser's is selling. He satisfied me that I had no unanswered questions or doubts about the item I was considering and that allowed me to make my purchase with peace of mind. Built-in refrigerator/freezers are ridiculously expensive, and may be the most costly essential major appliance that is made, so you want to be sure about what your buying. On top of that, when you are spending several thousand dollars on something that can experience complicated problems, you want your investment protected. For that, Plesser's has a terrific, reasonably priced, extended warranty program, about which Barry knows all the details, as well. I've bought from Plesser's Appliance in the past and their sales service, pricing, warranty options and delivery are the best I've ever encountered. Excellent customer service

"I was looking for anew refrigerator but the ones I liked were a little out of my budget. Then I found the one I liked on Plesser’s website and I called not realizing it was 10 pm , Jennifer answered the phone and explained to me the difference between the two I liked. I decided to go with the more expensive one but i’ll Tell you, after the great price and the rebates I’m saving almost $900. Jennifer O’brein is a great sales / CS person. I’m very happy with my purchase. "

"Plessers Appliance is a terrific company but more importantly they achieve greatness through their customer service; especially Dominique!! She was thorough, considerate, friendly, understanding and consistent throughout our Horrendous LG refrigerator/freezer ordeal. I only wish I had called her sooner and not dealt with the robotic NewLeaf warrantee people nor the incompetant Fleet Appliance repair people. Dominique you truly are a wonderful representation of the service industry and what makes Plessers far different from your competitors! Bravo and Thank you again!"

The Best Customer Service Ever

"I cannot say enough good things about the people at Plesser Appliance.. I called seeking the Signature Series LG Twin Washer / Dryer and Pedestals, explaining Best Buys cannot fill the order since December 1st and they verified that they were indeed backlogged. I was then offered an alternative in White, the Mega Series, that could be delivered in 2 weeks. We went over the requirements and I was totally happy and purchased them. Not only that, I saved a bundle of money. Here it is May and LG is still not delivering them. 5 star service. Kudus to Plesser for taking the time and getting us up and running on the first floor of our home. No more basement steps. Thank you."
