"Terrible service. Be careful if you want to sell your giftcards to plasticjungle. You take your own risk.

I sold my $50 giftcard giftcard online to plasticjungle. I got an instant confirmation email. It said that they sent $42.5 to my Paypal account. After waiting for several days, I still did not reveive money. After several emails and robot reply emails, I finally got an email by a human "Alex", he said they deposited $42.5 to my paypal. When I check my paypal, I only reveived $42 and paypal didn't charge any fee. I also contacted ebay to verify this. Obviously plasticjungle made a mistake or their instant transaction system has errors. I do not care about 50 cents, but I want them to improve their service because I plan to sell many giftcards. So I sent them inquiry emails, they either sent me robot emails or sent me emails without customer service representive's name and denied their mistakes. It seems they tried to hide their mistakes. Now I am worrying about selling giftcards to them. In the future, probably I will limit each transaction to one $25 giftcard and use several giftcard trading companies and ebay to reduce my risk.

"I bought an AMC Theater card and used it on 4/19/11. The card worked but was worth less than what I had purchased. It's impossible to talk with someone so I sent the email. Supposedly I'm being refunded what I was shorted but that's been a few days ago and I haven't seen any evidence of that happening.

PS I bought a Lowes card at Gift Card Rescue and everything worked perfectly. The card arrived earlier than expected and the full amount was on the card and it worked great.

"I've scoured over all of the gift card sites and by far Plastic Jungle has the best discounts over all. I bought about 18 gift cards and have been very pleased thus far. I've purchase both electronic gift cards and physical gift cards and have not had a problem. I ordered the electronic gift cards close to midnight and received them the next morning in my email. The physical cards usually take about 4-5 business days to be received. I've been telling all of my friends and other moms who want to save money about Plastic Jungle. I will be ordering more before Christmas to save money on gifts for all the nieces and nephews. Thanks Plastic Jungle!"

"Mailed them $200 worth of gift cards on 3/2/11, was supposed to receive a check in the amount of $164.00 in return. I have emailed them repeatedly. Their initial response states, "although the gift cards have been delivered" they need time to process them. That was nearly one month ago. I have since asked them to give me the card info so I can cancel those cards (report them lost), however, they have not responded.

Summary: They took $200 worth of my gift cards and I received nothing in return. Terrible experience with their company.

"Used the instant credit to paypal, was slow but worked, not sending in the card makes me feel better, now they have a filter to enter the security number on your card, and it won't work (the one time I got customer service on the phone they told me it was because I have a prepaid visa green dot card not a real checking account) but I don't see how this matters since they send it to pay-pal and then I manualy have to transfer from paypal to my card. "

"This is a horrible site. Good idea, but horrible site.
Bad service (can never reach anyone via phone...) and takes them forever to reply your email. I ordered a physical Target gift card and they sent me an eCard... cause me more trouble good. Now I just learned that they recently put a filter on their system which BLOCKS me from completing my purchase from my office computer. Took me 20 rejections online and two days to get their answers. Their answer to me was: sorry, our new filter does not allow you to make transactions from your office PC. Please make your purchases at night from home PC. WTF? Time to close this account.

"I was somewhat nervous about buying a large value gift card from them but everything went smoothly. It took longer to get the gift card than I had expected because of my mistaken assumption that it was going to ship from their San Jose Corporate address (which would be local to me). Apparently fulfillment, at least of physical cards, is done out of Colorado.

And a real person picked up the phone when I called to inquire about the shipping delay.

"I ordered over $1,200 in JCPenny eCodes and received them 30 hours later, which they said the typical wait time is 24 hours... only a little late, but I already used the codes and everything went well. The customer service took a little long to respond, but nothing out of the ordinary. I dont understany why this company has such bad reviews. They are rated A by the BBB and they get back to you pretty quickly. I think they need a little more credit.

"Absolute worst customer service. They were rude, condescending and will not be receiving any referrals or more business from me. What's even funnier is that they don't have customer support sign the emails (they don't answer the phone and tell you to contact them via web), so I don't even know who in customer service sent the rude email.

The shipping time is extremely slow. Overall, I am appalled that in this economy a company can be so lacking in customer service. There are plenty of other sites vying for the same business.

"i bought a $116.59 gift card for victorias secret for my wifes birthday. she tried to used the card today and it said balance $0.00. i called victorias secret and they told me the balance on the card was used on 1/28/2011. i bought the card form plastic jungle on 2/9/2011 (Almost 2 weeks after the balance was already used up). last time i used this rip-off company."

"I bought an e-card from Plastic Jungle.
It was advertised as being instant, right away, no waiting.

I was wanting to make an order from Cabelas so I figured, "awesome!". Three hours later, no code. Why do you have to wait for a code that should be electronically delivered and automated? I emailed them to cancel and refund my PayPal.

Wouldn't you know it, this morning, just for kicks, I checked my Plastic Jungle account and not only had they not cancelled it... They're still in PENDING status!
24 hours later!

Hardly "instant".

Nobody answers their phone.
Nobody answers their email.

And the worst part of all, they don't deliver what they promise.

I just wish there was something lower than one star to give them.

"I was so excited to find Plastic Jungle and a gift card that I wanted at a good deal. I purchased a gift card from this site as well as one from another similar site. Received the card from the other site within several days, before I even got an email from Plastic Jungle stating that my credit card was declined. I checked with my credit card company, no problem with my card. After repeated messages, finally get a response from Plastic Jungle that they are still working on the issue. Several more days have passed, I just sent them a message asking that they cancel the transaction. Not worth the hassle to save a few dollars. We were going to sign our non-profit up with them as a fundraiser, but after this dealing and seeing the poor reviews, no way! The other site that I purchased from and had a great experience with was cardwoo.com I have only dealt with them this one time, but based on that experience I would recommend them and will be buying from them again!"

"I was skeptical based on other reviews so I mad a small order and it went well. About a week later I made a bigger order and one of the cards doesn't work. I have spent over a week on the phone and emailing trying to get it resolved but they are completely unhelpful. During this time I got an alert that a gift card I wanted was available so I bought it. 2 days later they sent me an email that my credit card declined the purchase. I called my credit card company and they have no record of the purchase being submitted or declined. Now I lost that card because there was only one and I can't get an answer from anybody about what happened. It is a huge hassle to deal with them - not worth it."

"Sold $200 worth of gift cards to Plastic Jungle on 12/31/2010 and mailed them in on the same day with the postage prepaid mailing label. Have gotten no response from them to multiple inquiries. Thinking I may have just lost $200. These people should be arrested. Wonder if I can call the police in San Jose (the location of their corporate office according to their web site) and report a theft?"
