"I spent a better part of 4 hours looking at sites to find a screen for my Inspiron 13' 7353. The last site I founds was Parts people. To select the correct screen all they asked for was the Dell service tag. With this info they recommended the correct screens. I installed it my self. Before closing the laptop up, I tested the installation.
No luck, - black screen. I noticed a flashing light 2 orange - 7 white flashes. I planned to send this unit to have the experts fix it. I called Part People. Reviewed what I did and the flashing light. The rep consulted one of their techs and advised, the flashing light means bad connection to the screen. He suggested before sending the PC to them, check all of the plugs. Sure enough I found one that was not seated properly. Pushed it in further and it worked.
5 stars for easily finding the correct part and a quick answer so I fix it myself. Unit has worked 100% for the last 3 weeks.
