"PC Specialist is an easy website to use, and as a relative PC building novice the hardware checker is really helpful - ensuring you don't spec a laptop that wont work. For high end machines they are vastly cheaper than the alternatives, and having used PC Specialist laptops for almost 3 years I can vouch for the quality."
"I took time to select PC Specialist as the supplier of my new PC. I'd read reviews, watched YouTube and asked around and eventually opted for PC Specialist.
From beginning to end it was a slick, professional process. I found the online system for defining a spec and building a quote extremely easy to navigate. I like the way it prompted you if you were over specing and it even tried to save you money by advising you. The information tabs were also extremely useful, enabling you to find more details on each item. Being able to save, ponder and go back to a quote was great.
Once the spec had been finalised the ordering and acknowledgment process were a breeze.
I was kept informed at each stage of the build and loved the feedback showing images of the build in progress.
The PC was despatched within the estimated time for completion. Following despatch I was able to track the parcel via DPD and it arrived within the allocated time slot. The package was immaculate without any hint of scuff, scrape or ding. It's the little things that also stand out - the way the package was sealed, with each piece of tape cut to precise length and placed accurately over each seem. It's this level of attention to detail that really stands out. The PC was sturdily packed including some internal packing within the PC to keep things secure in transit (do be sure to remove as instructed).
The preliminary email information providing setup hints and tips, along with the enclosed instructions meant the PC setup was extremely easy and it's behaved flawlessly.
To conclude, as a former Quality Director for one of Silicon Valleys leading manufacturers, quilty of product and service is close to my heart. Based on my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend PC Specialist for your next PC.

"I only have one complaint. Everything else was fine. I couldn't see inside the case I had chosen - just the outside. When I got the machine I found it had an SSD rack at the bottom front which blocked my (rather large) graphics card. So now I am using a temporary old graphics card until I can buy a replacement which isn't as long and as thick.
This was something I had bought from someone else so PC Specialist couldn't really know how big my graphics card was - but even sending me fancy pictures of the outside of the case with the door open I could not see that there was this extra bit of metal which was not removable.

"I had originally ordered a Custom PC from another, well known PC builder, but after 5 weeks of no communication and serious stock issues, I had lost confidence and cancelled the order.
After building a similarly priced Custom PC with the same specs, I placed my order with PCS and was happy to see a Bank Transfer option for payment. The payment was very smooth and had no issues (I had trouble paying the other site by card payment as my Bank stopped the payment several times - the bank transfer option on PCS made things much simpler!)
The communication process during my PC build was excellent and I was really pleased to receive a 360 photo of my build in progress. This was a really nice touch! I placed the order on Monday, by Friday the PC had been built and tested and sent for packing. The delivery was on the following Tuesday - just over a week after I had placed the order. DPD delivery was straightforward and on time.
Setting up my PC was a breeze - the starter pack had everything needed along with the extra parts and cables for my motherboard and PSU. So far, my PC has been running like an absolute dream - my old PC was starting to struggle with multi-tasking, but this PC is handling everything I can throw at it (and more!) without breaking a sweat.
The wide choice of parts and build quality at PCS has left me very impressed, the overall service has been absolutely fantastic. PCS is now my first choice of PC Builder and I will be sure to recommend it to friends and family if they are looking for a new PC. "

I was making a big jump from a lifetime of being on Apple to PC and I needed very specific requirements for the new laptop.
