Don't know about the case yet but customer service is terrible!

"I ordered my phone and the case less than 24hrs later! They were both shipped via FedEx (whom I detest to begin with)! It was free standard shipping so I had to wait 5-8 business days! I got my phone (that was shipped from farther away) 5days later! My phone case did not come in five days, it didn't even come in 11 days! When I called to ask, I explained that I had received notifications at every point in the shipping process about the whereabouts of my phone but from them, besides the initial order confirmation, I received zero I formation about the case... Their response? "Oh sorry due to the holidays it's going to be a bit longer than normal. You're due to receive it in an additional three days!" I'm sorry I just have a hard time understanding how the same shipping company is sending a product already closer to me and it's taking 9!!! days longer to get to me! It's just frustrating because these cases cost an arm and a leg! You'd think After paying $50 for some rubber and plastic, you can at least expect it to be on time! If it we're like $3 no one would give a damn because you're like *shrug* well it was only $3! But when you invest in something you expect basic reliability!! Secondly, they're not going to take responsibility for my phone should anything happen between the days I'm without a case!! I just feel like a good company wouldn't let this happen or would at least offer a discount on your next purchase or ask if you want a refund! Not that I'm interested in either! I obviously NEED the case! And I guarantee I'll not be purchasing another case from them in the future! But if you mess up at least offer to try to make it right somehow!!"

Consumer Beware

"We have 3 - 8+ Galaxys. The tempered glass design is horrible. We have had Otterbox cases since the beginning of their time and swore by them. Never having to request warranty replacement. Until now. We are replacing the tempered glass on a monthly basis. The design is flawed and to go buy them at the store is $40. To top it off they are losing so much money on the replacment of this item that they have forwarded everything to a new warranty company who does not want to honor the lifetime warranty clause . We have had to jump through so many hoops just to prove to them that we are worthy of the warranty. We spent a $120 on these stupid covers that does not include the cases that were $60 a piece. Keep in mind we have 3 of these phones. Once upon a time otter Box was the bomb now they are below their competitor and their customer service is suffering because these flawed tempered glass covers are costing them a fortune to replace. I suggest after much research the life proof case. Unless you have a lot of time to spend fighting for your warranty. Otter Box isn't what it used to be. Time to move on to better things."

Motorcycle Ride

"I own a motorcycle and I went on a ride one day and before I headed out I put my phone in my jacket. I didn’t buckle it all up the right way and when I got out in the road my jacket flew open and I didn’t feel it fly out my jacket until I got 3 States away! I thought I would have never found my phone much less in one piece. I finally found my phone when I got back home I finally found it a ditch off the road and when I looked there were no breaks on the case or the phone but there were only a few scratches on the corners of the case and that was it! That was an absolute miracle to find my phone in one piece and still working. Good job OtterBox! What a great case even in a scary situation! 11/10"

Rude

"I tried to get information on the where about of my order and the remaining shipping time. The customer agent
was not interested in solving my issue, she rather had very rude tone explaining me their shipping policies and that
i should better understand and if not she could not help me.
After further discussion and questioning she decided that this conversation was over and hanged the phone up.
I have never ever experienced such a rude behavior before
For everyone who likes the otter box product please do not purchase until they have solved their rude customer agent problem.

Fell off of a rollercoaster

"During a trip to a local theme park, my phone fell out of a pocket. This occurred on a very high ride. The workers were looking for it for about 10-20 minutes and they finally found it. Praying for my phone even though I knew it was broken, I awaited the dreaded news. HOWEVER, MY TRUSTED OTTERBOX SAVED MY PHONE FROM THAT FALL AND IF A CASE CAN SAVE A PHONE FROM A FREAKING ROLLERCOASTER I DONT KNOW WHAT WILL. STILL IN SHOCK AND I WILL BE BUYING ANOTHER CASE FROM OTTERBOX BECAUSE GOD BLESS THEIR STURDY CASES.

(only minimal damage was done to the case but it cracked in the back, still better than my phone cracking)

AUX

"I like my otterbox. It is very durable and the belt clip is very convenient. However I do not like how the belt clip snaps. Although it is nice to be shipped a new one free of charge. Also I am a little disappointed I cannot fit my aux cord into my phone when I have my otterbox on. If t the aux hole could fit a round headed cord that would be awesome"

don't waste your money

"the fact that they are charging 60 dollars for a note 8 defender case with no front screen protection and get this they have front screen protection for and extra 40 dollars. I have used otterbox for every phone I have ever had but I will never buy from them again. try zizo much better looking case for a one third the price. "

Take the money and run

"Wrong phone case by mistake, immediately contacted customer service to explain/cancel and within an hour received notification that the order had been cancelled and money would be refunded. Account debited. Product eventually arrived. Contacted the customer service dept that responded to the cancellation request (USA) and was asked to send back the case by registered mail for a refund - but not the postage (company policy, of course it is). Explained registered mail would be about half the value of the product and I shouldn't be incurring the cost of return when they had failed to activate the cancellation for which I had received acknowledgement. Requested email contact for a manager - a state secret apparently, and asked to telephone. So, again explained it was unreasonable to expect me to incur international phone charges (I am in the UK) when they had failed to activate the cancellation. This time I was told to contact the EU customer service base, which has responded by saying I should return the item by registered mail and that they can't refund the cost of the postage (again company policy). I have responded in an attempt to get someone to understand that is unreasonable for me to incur charges for their error, but I'm not holding my breath. Absolutely hopeless couldn't-care-less customer service. Fabulous PR guys for your company!"

worst return policy and workers ever!

"Returned a case 29 days ago. Still waiting on refund. Had to start a dispute in paypal. The people I've spoke with are rude.
There are many other companies out there with just as good or better protection. Try UAG or pelican.

30 day return policy

"Very disappointed in return policy, purchased as a gift and because I called with unopened shipping container a little after the 30 days couldn't refund it. Even after speaking to manager. Told me to keep it in case other one received breaks! Need to get with the times. "

Great case!

"So I was riding my huge horse (paint), my phone flew out of my pocket while my horse was at a full gallop and my horse kicked it twice it fell onto the road bounced up flipped and landed 30 feet from where it originally hit. I went picked up the phone and is perfectly fine. I'm using it right now to write this review so thank you otterbox because last time I didn't have a case on my phone it shattered and I JUST got it fixed ❤️❤️❤️"

Forget all these cry babies...best phone case ever

"Ive been using OtterBox for years and they have protected my phone from Falls and even a few throws best of all is there warranty there's no questions asked you simply provide a purchase date on your receipt and they will send you out a new one that's what I called back in the product since they replaced a case of mine three years back I've used nothing but OtterBox thanks a lot guys"

Perfect - until they develop a fault

"Bought an Otterbox for 6S+ iPhone. This is the 3rd phone we have protected with an Otterbox. With this one the button is covered and you cannot use the thumb print. The cover has broken up around the button. For £50 you expect better. You can only contact Otterbox via their online screen. You get no acknowledgement and I have still not had a reply. Every time you have to input all of the information. Ridiculous and immensely frustrating. "
