"My whole experience with Oh My Crafts has not been stellar. When I ordered my Silhouette machine on July 1st, the website said that they would be shipping in mid-July. I also knew that the other products I ordered would not be shipped until the Silhouette was ready. I was okay with both of those things.

I received my Silhouette yesterday--almost 6 weeks after my order was placed and my MONEY was TAKEN, and 4 weeks after I was expecting it.

My initial order contained four items. Last week I was notified that two of the items were no longer available (even though I paid for them almost 6 weeks ago and was told they were being held until my Silhouette was ready to ship). To my great disappointment, the third item was also missing from my order.

I took great care in placing my order--making sure that I would not only have the machine delivered, but materials to use with it. Now I have a machine and absolutely nothing to use with it.

To add insult to injury, they still have my money! I was notified that I'd be receiving a refund for the out of stock items to my PayPal account three days ago, but I have not yet had a credit posted to my account.

I am VERY disappointed in the level of customer service I've received. None of the specific concerns I raised in my emails were addressed other than with vague apologies. I am, however, still receiving several advertisement emails a day soliciting more of my business...of which they will never get again.

"I ordered a cameo printer around July 4. I was told that it would be mailed out mid July. It is now August 6th and I still don't have the printer yet. They have told me they are moving buildings and that is why. I have also been told they didn't get there full order in. That is when they return my phone call. I suggest You don't use this company. They take your money within days of your order. But it takes months for you to get your product."

"HORRIBLE customer service! Never mind the SLOW shipping and NO communication on their part, it's the RUDE responses I got from "Heather" whenever I simply asked where my already paid for items were that put the icing on the cake! Then a friend tells me that after her horrible experience with them, she tells them she'll let her craft friends know to beware of their co., they then let slip that they have employees write reviews for them, so it "doesn't matter anyway". WOW!"

"The day after I made the order on the website, I was contacted by my banks fraud department who quizzed me on a suspicious transaction on my card, stemming from OMC. I said it was OK, it was an order I had made (and I myself thought it was odd they would contact me because I have often bought from American craft sites and surely my account history would show that, but had never ordered from OMC before!) but my bank deemed their site not secure enough, so CANCELLED my card there and then, and reissued me with a new one. But allowed the transaction to go through.

This was when the alarm bells started going off...

A few days later I was then contacted my Heather of OMC, claiming they had charged me the incorrect postage for my items, and had to get a further $28.50 on top of the $15 I had already paid to ship the items to me!

Now I should mention me and a friend both ordered the exact same item and live in the same town, so were charged the same amount for the items and shipping, naturally.

I checked with my friend to see what she was going to do and to discuss if it was worth it, BUT to my suprise, she hasn't been contacted and actually received a shipping confirmation email!

Puzzled I quizzed them on this, in the reply back Heather became snippy exclaiming that she was sure my friend had paid exactly what it cost to post, and that every order was different. I double checked with my friend that she got the exact same order as me, and paid the same as me, and again reply back stating this, and asking HOW they could possibly try to charge me and extra 28.50 for the same items!

Heather then CANCELLED my order, issuing me a refund, which 3 days later I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED. and I have not heard back from them!

VERY SHADY AND DODGY INDEED.

"I have only had good experiences with this company and I have placed several orders with them. It is stated that if item is backordered that all will ship together when available. That said prior to x-mas I did place an order for 3 cartridges and 1 was on back order it was to be in stock for dec. 2 of the items they did agree to ship prior to the backorderd one to be in stock as I was concerned about not receiving them before x-mas ( I am in Canada), then they shipped the other one when it was available. I was happy with that I always feel that any time that I called with any requests or questions every one I spoke to were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend in a heartbeat even though this company shipping does take a bit longer, but I am in Canada so I don't really expect anything before 3 wks anyway. The customer service does take that extra step to make sure you are happy."

"I have ordered from the Ohmycrafts website 5 times over the past year and have not had a problem with them so far. I like how the shipping is affordable and reasonable. The items on the website, especially for the Cuttlebug dies are a great deal. I am from Toronto, Canada... so it does take about 2 to 3 wks for me to get my shipment in, but I also expect it to take that long. (I had read some reviews prior to ordering that shipments took a long time and people were complaining about the long wait.) I highly recommend this website, only if you have the patience to wait for delivery. :) "

"This company made sure my order was put on my charge and 3 weeks later no merchandise. My order was placed in April 0f 2010. In late May I was still waiting. I believe, according to my charge company, this practice is very shady. Some emails were answered, but they just told me to wait until mid June. You have got to be kidding, the Tim Holtz dies are available all over and I even got them at a better price. I keep unsubscribing to the emails, and they just keep coming. More inconvenience than I have ever had from a company in my life. After all my waiting, I was given a refund, the dies were still not available. Perhaps this company needs to pay more attention to what they put on their site, because almost everything is out of stock, but goes on your Visa. "

"Pre-ordered multiple new cartridges at a time and was told they would ship as soon as they were available and in stock. Recieved all but one of the cartridges. Now, normally you don't see new cartridges in the store for atleast a few months, yet this cartridge has only been out for a few weeks and most craft stores have it?!? How is it that they have it and Oh My Crafts can't produce one to ship. Not to mention that we've been told that it was going to ship a week ago, no cartridge. Then we were told it would ship this week. I'm not holding my breathe.

Also, if you're ordering cricut accessories, be careful. Their descriptions are very vague and we've returned things before because they didn't contain everything that the product appeared to have.

"Contrary to other reviewers' experiences, I have received awesome customer service. A cartridge I ordered was back ordered. I contacted customer service via email. Received reply within 2 days. Was offered refund or continue to wait. I was given explanation for the delay and apology for inconvenience. I was also given approximate date that the item may ship. I then received the item before the revised ship date. Each email I sent was replied quickly. Customer service was very professional and to the point. I can't recommend them enough, and can't wait to order from them again!"

"I am still waiting for items missing from two orders I made on 2/12/10. I send them emails and phone calls, occaisionaly they respond saying that they will send me the items that I ordered, but over 6 wks is a little much. Please note that none of the items were listed as preorders or new cartridges. Can anyone get them to perform and send me my order???"

"Order at your own risk - To me it's very bad customer service, when you don't say upfront that you don't have it in stock.

customer service poor. I understand businesses are at the mercy of suppliers, but, businesses have an obligation to advise they are unable to supply stock giving the consumer the option of waiting or cancel the order and request a refund. It is now 3 weeks from date of order for Cricut Wild Card Cartridge, this is not a one of the latest releases. I have sent several emails asking for an update, I need this for an upcoming group challenge I am hosting. I received a reply to advise expecting delivery in the next day. This was over a week ago, still no stock, I have now given up and requested a refund, these refund emails have been ignored. I have now placed a dispute with paypal.
