"Guess this company doesn't make many sales because when asked for order number, they only requested the last 3 digits. I normally root for an underdog, but was less than satisfied with my experience with this site. I ordered an item, only to find out days later that the item was unavailable. I was told it would be available by early March (a month after the original order,) but when that date passed, I had to call them to find out it wouldn't be ready until early May. "I received the Steelcase Leaf Lounge Chair and Ottoman a couple weeks ago ordered through OfficeSight. The Steelcase product is really wonderful, and so much better than anything else I looked at from local office supply stores in quality, comfort, and finish. The 100% wool fabric is much more comfortable and breathable than leather. Thank you to OfficeSight for getting it for me at such an affordable price. I completely shopped on the internet looking for the best price because I knew exactly what I wanted. My salesperson at OfficeSight, Israel Tyberg, was very helpful with getting answers to my questions and getting back to me with product knowledge he could not immediately answer. I was amazed at how well Steelcase packed it and shipped it on a dedicated pallet. Their shipping company (Reddeway) were great. There was not one blemish on either box.

I think you can buy Steelcase products with absolute confidence through OfficeSight, and expect this reseller to go the extra distance to accommodate customer needs. I had some reservations in the beginning because I was not going through a local "Steelcase dealer" but am absolutely satisfied with the service, the product, and especially the price. That said, I believe it is helpful to look around and figure out exactly what you want before buying through the internet or phone. It helps if you have seen and touched the product before ordering it on the internet or phone. In the case of Steelcase furniture, there is a showroom (corporate owned) near where I live in the Seattle area, so thoroughly checking out the product was easy. OfficeSight was really one of the best online buying experiences I have had, and I spent way less money than going through any local retail option.

If you are buying known quality products backed with manufacturer warranties, OfficeSight would appear be a very valuable resource for a consumer. "

"I ordered a room divider. My Paypal account was immediately charged. After several days I was curious where my order was. I went back and found the email from my order. Curious. I clicked on the "track my order" link in the email and found that my order had been cancelled. No reason why. No email saying it was cancelled. No response to email questioning my order. My Paypal account was credited back but I never received any communication from them after the initial order AND my Paypal account being IMMEDIATELY charged.
I did receive a response on 07/13/12 (after I wrote my review). As a matter of fact, I received THREE responses "Thank you for your order it is appreciated Unfortunately the item you
purchased is not in stock and we do not have an ETA for more Your order was canceled and your PayPal payment was refunded" I looked back through my spam folder and searched my inbox. I did not have a previous email saying my order was cancelled."

"I purchased a desk from OfficeSight and was told it was out of stock, but that it would be in stock again in about a month. I thanked them for letting me know, and said I'd be happy to wait since I was having trouble finding the desk elsewhere.

One month later I wrote to check up on when I could expect the desk to be in stock and sent to me, and received no response. After several additional emails, each about a week apart, I still wasn't getting any response. I finally wrote to say I was going to dispute the charge if they didn't respond with some kind of information, considering I'd paid $150 and had nothing to show for it. This final email prompted a response of "It looks like we're actually never getting it in stock, but we don't charge until items ship, so there's no problem."

That would have been fine if they really hadn't charged me.

I double checked, and they had charged my card when I made the initial purchase, so it's a good thing I didn't take their word, or they would have kept my $150. I did dispute the charge and got my money back (first time I've ever disputed).

While my experience sounds like an outlier judging by other reviews, I felt compelled to share it."
