"I ordered a tablet from this company last Friday (9/28). The website says if you order before 11 am your order will ship the same business day. I got an email saying my payment was accepted, but that was it. After reading other negative reviews on this site I was concerned, so I called Monday morning. I was told it would ship that day. I called back Tuesday morning to make sure and was told it had shipped late Monday night and I would get a tracking number shortly. Didn't get it. I got an email Wednesday morning that said it had just shipped, no tracking number. I called again to find out when exactly it had shipped so I could get an idea of ETA so someone could be home to receive it. I was told I would get a call back when the shipping date was ascertained. No call back. I called back multiple times before finally getting through and was told "FedEx ground takes 3 to 5 business days". That's not even close to what I asked. I was told tracking information was forthcoming in an email and I asked when I would get that email. "FedEx ground takes 3 to 5 business days". Then he told tracking info wasn't available. After some arguing I was told he would sent the email "right now". No email.
Some things that worry me:
1. I'm positive that I spoke to the same person every time I called, meaning there is no "customer service department". There is one guy.
2. I found the business license info for this Nevada company and it says 1 employee.
3. All but a few of the positive reviews on this site look like they are from the owner using different screen names or his only friend using different screen names. They all say the same thing.
4. Although his site might have the cheapest price on the net for what I was looking for, there is probably a reason for that. I may have been duped. Either my credit card info may have been taken for malicious purposes or the product may be defective. I guess I'll find out if/when it ever arrives.

Don't do business with this guy. Maybe he has good intentions and is just in way over his head, but I highly doubt that. Pay the extra few dollars and get your stuff from a reputable company."

"My experience with Nyetex was very negative. I ordered what I believed to be a Dvd Player and Recorder at least that was how the product was labeled. When I contacted them the gentleman tryed to make it my fault for not reading all the technical specs below where it said it was just a player but the product was labeled Dvd Player and Recorder. He finally promised me an RMA number for Monday but I have yet to receive it. He also would only agree to give me $7.00 towards the return shipping instead of emailing me a prepaid shipping label like all proper businesses would do."

"No customer service at all. Ordered on 6/25, received three emails same day and one on 6/29 said it shipped and I'd get another with tracking number soon. Emailed questions on 7/11, 14, 17, 19 with no responses to any. Package arrived 7/24 and wasn't even shipped until 7/20. Don't trust/deal with them unless you have plenty of time to wait!"
