"I ordered a specific bolt and washer for a Little Wonder leaf blower on 28 NOV 2011. It was the only place I could find that actually matched the part number. I ordered two of each to cover me in the future. A simple $10.36 order where the cheapest shipping charges were $6.41. I needed the part to keep the impeller from spinning off my leaf blower. It's Fall, and I have lots of leaves to clear up. A week later, still no parts. I use the contact page and get no response. The credit card was charged immediately of course. I've since written back requesting order be cancelled and credit card be refunded within the next three days or I will dispute charges. I should have looked at reviews of this site beforehand, but was too excited to see that the actual genuine part was apparently in stock. I now question whether they have anything in stock. Looking at Google street view of their address where all the windows are blocked with posters, the doors covered in white paper, and the size of the building, I doubt they have inventory of much of anything. And maybe not even a real brick and mortar presence.

"Ordered a chainsaw on Oct. 9th 2011. Today is Nov. 16th 2011 and the saw still has not shipped. The absolute worst online company I have ever dealt with. Just got a hold of them, telling me it might ship next week. Thats what they told me 2 weeks ago. DO NOT order anything from this company. You may be dead before you ever get your order"

"I ordered some very hard to find parts from Norwalk Power Equipment Company and while some were not available anymore I did receive everything they told me was available. Also, I only paid shipping on the first shipment. When more parts became available they shipped at no additional cost to me. I'm sorry many of you have had a problem, but it looks to me like they are trying to make customer service a priority now. They were very responsive to my e-mails, and no, I do not work for, or know these people personally. I live in Rhode Island. I would definitely give them the benefit of the doubt and buy from them again. "

"Too bad there isn't a "0" rating. I ordered a chainsaw on May 24th. It is now June 15th and it still hasn't shipped. They charged my credit card on May 24th. They have given me all kinds of excuses and everytime I call or email them they say "it will ship this week". Stay away. I should have done some research before ordering from them.

Update. I cancelled my order on June 15th and requested a credit to my credit card. I finally received the credit today after two more emails to them and telling them if I didn't receive the credit by end of day I would dispute the charge with my credit card company.

"My story mirrors most of those here. This Online retailer entices customers with an extensive inventory of hard to find parts at competitive prices. The unfortunate reality is none of it is in stock. They promptly took my money and put me on back order without giving a reliable delivery date. After eight weeks of stall tactics and excuses, I canceled my order and felt lucky to get a refund.

Lessons learned:
Beware online retailers that won't indicate whether or not items are in stock. Beware online retailers if their web site has no customer feedback section.
Before doing business with unfamiliar online retailers, Check them out first with consumer websites like ResellerRatings or Epinions.

"I ordered a chainsaw on March 25. I received an email receipt immediately and they charged my card immediately. On Tuesday 3/28, I tried to followup using the contact us form on their web. No response. On Friday 4/1, tried again to get the status using the web form. No response. Tomorrow, I will phone them and cancel the order and file a claim on Amex. I regret not looking up reseller ratings prior to my order. I've never seen a company with such low reseller ratings. My experiences seem to mirror other experiences. They are very good at taking your money but very poor at shipping product in a timely fashion or keeping the customer updated on their status. Buyer Beware!"

"Absolute worse online order experience. A week after order placed no update so I called. Was told items were drop shipped and they would email tracking number. Never received tracking number so I called again. This time items were "waiting to be received" at Norwalk. Could not give a date so I asked to cancel the order. Two days later order still not canceled so I called again to cancel. Still waiting for refund.

"Like other reviewers, very poor response once the order is made. I ordered on January 31, and the product wasn't shipped until February 24, and won't arrive until March 3. I called a week after they charged my credit card, and they said they would research and get back to me within a few days. They didn't, and I called them again and asked them to cancel the order. Miraculously, my part was shipped later that week. Go find your tool/part somewhere else."

"I gave them $375 and they gave me nothing - not even a response to my emails or phone calls. They may not be a total fraud, legally speaking. But as far as I'm concerned these jerks are scam artists banking on peoples' trust and time.

"Ordered AND PAID FOR some snowblower augers from Norwalk over three weeks ago. They have NOT delivered them and have not emailed or called me (even though they took that info during the order).
This is an unethical company and I would avoid doing business with them. BEWARE. Find someone else who IS ethical. They shouldn't take your money and never contact your if they have a delivery problem. The parts are common honda parts but after calling them they said they couldn't get them. Yeah Right! I can get them at ANY honda dealer. They just took my money and DIDN'T DELIVER. WATCH OUT! It was only after my repeated calls that they said they'd refund. In the mean time, other great deals went by.
