"What a horrible business - they have had my return for three weeks and will not credit me. They hide their address so the only way you can contact them is through a web form that sends back a canned message telling you to wait even longer. Filed with the Better Business bureau, hoping to get my money back. I have the USPS proof they go the item back three weeks ago. Real scumbags."

"This website has very deceptive practices. I received free shipping on an order when I ordered it, and then later when I received the confirmation letter for the order they had added on a shipping cost, which was rather high for what I had ordered.I called customer service to report this. The customer service agent was not kind nor customer-friendly. She talked to a specialist and then came back on the line and told me that she would give me free shipping but that the dress was no longer available. The item was very definitely available when I ordered it and I had received a confirmation for the order.This website uses deceptive practices and is not customer-friendly. "

"Take a chance, I did! I read the negative reviews & agree shpg was a bit high. A first reluctant, I have now placed 2 orders, both of which had an item to return. I have no complaints, I have been treated with exceptional courtesy, immediate authorization and instructions to return the items and even learned some new tricks from the associate on how to select the correct NYDJ's, and the true meaning of "fancy feet" Thank you Lisa! "I ordered 2 skirts on 05/07/2011, today is 05/17/2011, can not reach them on the phone, used e-mail to ask the question or cancel.
The website is terrible just like their customer service.
Everything looks good in the catalog, but this company is not interested in the customers, do not waste your time.

"I ordered a $189.00 jacket for a Xmas gift. Shipping charges were $16.50. I later learned that they shipped the item by SmartPost, the cheapest mode available - about $5. 10 days after ordering and 2 calls to NorthStyle customer service, I ordered a duplicate shipped overnight at $41.90 shipping in order to receive the item in time for the Christmas gift.

After Christmas, I refused delivery on the first order and, when they received it, they only refunded the item cost of $189.00.  I have therefore payed a total of $58.85 in shipping costs to receive this order.

"I ordered a sweater from Northstyle. The sweater arrived but was very poor quality. I returned it and called recently regarding my refund. They told me it takes 4-6 weeks! They are just hanging on to customers money to collect interest. I've never waited more than 2 weeks at most to receive a refund. A store that has great catalogs but the merchandise is not what it appears to be."
