Loved this decision

"This review site scared me to place an order. I am so happy I took a chance. My order arrived in less than a week and I am thrilled with the dress and sweater. I couldn't find this denim dress any where else, so I was compelled to try. Happy 5 stars all the way!!"

Pros at ripping you off

"Under no circumstances should you be fooled into ordering from this company. I am in the retail business myself, and can spot a scam a mile away. NorthStyle /Potpourri are pros at ripping off consumers. Do not be fooled by pretty pictures. This company should be put out of business. I placed an order on 4/7/17, with a promise of 2day shipping, as I was going on vacation. When it did not arrive as promised, I called and was told that it had not even left the warehouse. At that point, I CANCELLED the order, and thought that was the end of it. On 4/19/17, I was notified that they had shipped the order. I contacted them to let them know that I would be refusing the order and to credit my card for any now FRAUDULENT charges that had been made. They could care less. Their "customer service" is staffed by unintelligible teenagers, smart a** guidos, and liars. I have now contacted my lawyer and credit card company to make sure that my money is refunded. Never again."

Fourteen days later and still have not received my order.

"Placed my order on 4/19.' It shipped on 4/24 via FedEx. Never made it to its destination. It has been 10 days and still don't have my order. I called customer "no service"'and was told that they have done what they were paid to do and that was ship the item. They refuse to take responsibility to find out where my order is. So I called Fedex and found that the order never made it to its destination from their warehouse. I wonder if they even shipped it and only created a label. Never buy from them again."

Poor Service

"This company obviously doesn't care about their customers. Note that 90% of reviews are horrible. They delivered my package to the wrong address and will not refund or replace the item. They want me to go to the post office and file a claim. They kept me on hold for quite some time and then blamed the problem on me. I'm out $50 and I have no pants. "

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE CROOKS!

"told me that they will not credit my account for a return (I have signed tracking slip, so I know they received it) for 2-3 weeks. This after being on hold for 20 minutes....
Person I spoke with last week said that credit takes 48 hours to post, but they are "backed up in the warehouse because they just relocated". So, everyone working in customer service has a different story, or they are lying! Will never order from these people again! Decent clothes/untrained customer service staff/returns not processed in a timely manner.

Nice clothes, High Prices - Poor Service!

"Do Not shop with NorthStyle! I was seduced by their pretty catalog and placed an order on March 9, hoping to get in time for Easter. At time of order, all items were marked as "available". The next day I got an email confirmation telling me all but ONE item was on backorder. Two items eventually arrived (after Easter!); the third was targeted for shipping on May 4. Sent an email to customer service on May 9 and got back a cryptic reply that expected ship date "end of May or early June". I just tried to reach them by phone and got an automated menu, finally hearing "availability not known" for this item! The kicker is: this top is featured prominently in all their online ads that pop up on my browser, in their email messages, and the catalogs I keep getting! Somebody needs to tell Marketing that the item is NOT AVAILABLE. I haven't been able to contact a real person yet. I'll keep looking for a name; I'll go to the top if I need to. I will NEVER shop with them again!"

Customer Service Excellent

"Upon reviewing my credit card statement I noticed monthly charges of $14.95 for 12 months for VIP services that began following a purchase the month before. I did not sign up for VIP services. I called customer service, requested reversal of all charges. They promptly agreed, sent a confirmation email so that I had it in writing for my credit card company and said it would process in 5 business days. I then spoke to the credit card company to have them open a dispute which they will if nothing posts in 15 days. All bases are covered. Northstyle service was polite, helpful and professional. "

$38 for nothing

"I checked the size chart of Northstyle catalog before I ordered a southwest toggle coat. I ordered the size indicated for me. Received it. The sleeves were way too small. So far - original shipping cost of $12.50 plus $12.50 to send back. Received the larger size. Sleeves way too small. Called customer service. Got a "Sorry Charlie" response. So I am out another $12.50 to send it back. There is no way for customers to review items on their website. So I had no way to know that the sleeves ran small on that coat. Bummer. Almost $38 expended with no coat in my closet to show for my efforts. Customer Service gave me an apology but nothing else. She said that their size chart did not include sleeve size. She said that it is just a risk you take when you order from a catalog. OK. I will never buy from them again. Lesson learned"

"This company is deplorable.

Their merchandise is of poor quality. It looks nothing like what is in the catalog. Also, there is no discount or free shipping for any order. I placed an order of over $160 and ended up paying close to $20 for shipping. When I returned all the items, the shipping was $11 dollars insured via UPS. Why do they charge so much shipping and why is it double what I paid to return the very same items?

Furthermore, I received no emails when NorthStyle received the items back. In addition, I received not one email when my credit card account was credited for the return. I emailed NorthStyle 5 times about the return and never heard back once from them (even though their auto-replies state that a response will be sent within one business day).

Moreover, the wait time to speak to a customer service rep or a sales person is ridiculously long. The professionalism is non-existent when you do speak with someone.

Lastly, the reps flat out lie to you as well. The last rep told me that NorthStyle had already credited my credit card back the shipping I spent for the items (I had asked them to do this numerous times because I was so dissatisfied with the products and service). However, when I checked my credit card statement, this was not true. I had to speak with yet another rep to get the charges removed.

Long story short, I would not recommend NorthStyle to anyone. The quality of the clothing is poor. The service is non-existent. The company is completely disorganized.

"I ordered a top for a vacation. Since I was leaving in two weeks I had in sent "rush service" to be on the safe side. Eleven days later I recieved an email saying the item had been shipped! Customer services response was "we make no promises"! The clothes may be nice, but customer service is terrible."

"This company is a rip-off and doing business illegally. Don't buy here!
I ordered five items. Two arrived, one didn't fit. The order came with a note that said the other 3 items were out of stock for FOUR MONTHS . Then WHY list them among your inventory in the first place? False Advertising!, I received two checks, one for postage and one for the alleged return, with no calculations to indicate how they arrived at the amounts. They still owe me money on the refunds but I give up. Lesson learned. Don't shop with these folks. They're stealing money..

"I tried to place an order on their website, but couldn't get to "place order", so I did a phone order. They sent me a duplicate shipment and wouldn't pay return postage for the duplicate item. They also sent me something that was supposed to go to another customer and sent her a THIRD order of what I had ordered. They denied that there could be a problem with their website!! This was my first time ordering from Northstyle, and I will never do this again. They are not a reputable company."
