"A very bad experience. I ordered a rug on June 20, after contacting the 800# to confirm availability. When I didn't receive the rug, I visited the website to discover it was on backorder; I wasn't contacted. On July 13 I emailed to cancel the order. The cancellation was acknowledged but they tried to persuade me not to. I reconfirmed that I was cancelling. On Aug 16 I received a shipping confirmation! I called the 800#, received no call back. The following week I called the 800#, again no response. I emailed through their website noting that I hadn't filled out this survey yet & three days later I received a phone call on a cell phone with a bad connection; the caller agreed to email me the return details because I couldn't understand him. I received no email. I sent another request through the website 2nd week in Sept & received no response. I don't want the rug; I want my money back. "

"I ordered a rug in early January. My CC was charged on the day of the order. When the rug had not arrived in 3 weeks, I called Nilima only to be told that it was backordered until late Feb. I agreed to wait. When the rug still had not arrived in late Feb., I called again requesting a refund and was given the runaround. I still keep receiveing backorder notices in mid March. The charges are now being disputed on my CC. I was never able to speak with someone who could help me - I wastold that the phone rep would have to caontact the "main office" but she coukd not give me their contact info. Do not buy from this company. They are crooked!!"

"I ran into a problem in that Nilima Rugs indicated that the rug was shipped to me but it wasn't. It took me several days in dealing with customer service to get in contact with a person that could help me. But once in contact with that person; he resolved & expedited shipment of the rugs to me. The rug is a quality product & I'm happy with it. The SNAFU took some of the satisfaction from sales experience. But to be fair such a SNAFU probably a rare occurrence & Nilima Rugs resolved the problem to my satisfaction. "
