"I own a computer sales and service business and order a great deal of my supplies and parts through NCIX.com. I have been purchasing for about 4 years now and can say that there is a reason I stick with NCIX.com Over the years they have constantly kept up to date with their customers requests, and demands, to stock the products that they want, and have stayed on top of updating and maintaing their website. They regularly add new features to the website that the customers request, and continualy add more and more features and options on the website. They have been very reliable in all orders, even in the busiest times of the year. I have had few problems with purchases and even those have been dealt with professionally and quickly. Few items have had to be returned and I have been very pleased with the care taken to ensure that all issues are dealt with to my satisfaction. Their website is bar none the best online ordering website you will find in Canada, and as a business owner I have dealt with countless companines, and online ordering. "The only comment I have is that I'm very, very impressed! I placed my order at 9:00pm on a Thursday. Friday at 3:00pm they contacted me that my credit card information was wrong, I fixed it and at 2:00pm on Monday the order was at my house. Between NCIX and Purolator this was the fastest turnaround I have ever had ordering something online!"
"Usually I go into the store to buy products, and just pay for it via debit or CC. This time I tried paypal.
Put a order online for a DVD writer. As soon as I got my email confirmation ( a few minutes later ), I made my payment via paypal. I've used paypal for years (Seller Reputation: (137) Account Creation Date: May 27, 2001 PayPal Member For: 3 years 4 months).
With that behind it, I know paypal payments take the time it takes a email to send, to receive payment, specially if the money is in the account, which it was.
Friday comes around, and I called in, they said the payment did not process, and if I wanted to go into the store on the weekend, I could pay for it by debit/cc, and they would reverse the paypal payment in the new week. Fine for me.
Called in later that next week, and they said they would take care of it. I finally called again on the 20th, and was told that it was taken care of, but that paypal takes 10-12 days for a refund? WTF? no it doesn't, it is much quicker than that. So in that sense, they've had my money for almost a month. Not too happy. I'll post a update once I actually get my refund which I haven't still to this date."

"Having dealt with them many times in the past without any problems I had issues with my most recent purchase. I contacted their customer support staff, explained to them what the problem was and they have responded with intent to make things right. Nobody is perfect and nobody can get every single thing right every time, but the good ones are those who will make an effort to fix things if they go wrong. "I ordered an Athlon64 processor and MSI Geforce 6800GT because it seemed like a good deal and the site indicated that both items were available. Unfortunately, that was not the case. You can track the processing of your order which I thought was great but later found out its inaccuracy. When it should 'availability verified', I assumed both items were in stock and ready to go. Got a shipment notice and showed the CPU being shipped but the video card was on backorder. Combined, this would've been a great deal largely because I could save on PST but not so much when it's only the CPU.
Please note, it's not their fault that all Nvidia 6800 cards are very difficult to stock but the lack of real time updates on their site is misleading and the fact that it took several days to find out about the backorder is inexcusable.
BTW, unlike some other stores, they will bill you immediately for any backorder items you order rather than wait until its been shipped. I was not aware of this.
On the positive side, the CPU arrived the day after it was shipped (from BC to ON) using the cheapest services. Plus it was easy to do a pricematch on the video card and their customer service was very friendly.
Not a bad store but the poor inventory tracking left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth."

"Purchased a SP-94 Thermalright CPU heatsink and fan, not an easy item to acquire ofcourse today. Haven't built the PC yet, but as for service, superb. Order arived promptly and was well packaged. Astounding deals, i will be shopping again in the future!
