"Ordered a Runcore 32gb SSD for my Eee 900 about a week ago. One week later and they still haven't shipped the item. Meanwhile, I ordered from Hot Deals 4 Less and not only have they shipped the next day, but they shipped on a Saturday and it already arrived the following Tuesday. Don't bother with these people if the item availability says: ships in 5-10 business days. It's another way of saying 'we don't have this in stock!'

Also, I tried to contact them two times, first asking why it was taking so long to ship, and then to cancel the order since I already received the Runcore drive from Hot Deals 4 Less. They still haven't replied to any of those yet. DON'T BOTHER!!!

"Ordered a RunCore SSD for my ASUS eeePC 901.
Called toll free phone number, arranged delivery by USPS instead of costly UPS to Eastern Europe. Got excellent service, same day shipping, delivered in a week time.
Would certainly use MyDigitalDiscount.com again!

"I had ordered a 32 GB CF card from mydigitaldiscount.com on a Sunday night for an upcoming wedding shoot the following weekend. I accidentally submitted the order with UPS Ground shipping. Fearing I would not receive the card in time, I called customer service and asked for UPS 3 day. They were extremely pleasant to deal with and said that it would be no problem. The NEXT day (Tue), UPS arrived at my door at 7am with my order! Now, that's service!! Thank you, MyDigitalDiscount.com!"

"The customer service at MDD is awesome. I had a string of problems with some SSDs I purchased from them, and they were very curteous and helpful in getting replacements sent out to me. They even tested one of the products for me to ensure it was working before shipping it my way. It's pretty rare to find customer service this good these days! Read some of the other reviews and not sure why people are having such a bad time; I just called the Customer Service number on their website and got ahold of someone who was very helpful right away."

"I placed an order online for a Runcore SSD for 249.99 and payed with PayPal. They got my money immediately. I got nothing. No order number, no order confirmation, NOTHING! Their telephone answering system is as bad as one can get. It ran me around for ten minutes before disconnecting me. Then I came to this site to check them out. Boy, was I stupid for not checking them out before buying. It's hard to tell if they are a real business.

RESPONSE TO MATT DAWSON:
You think this website is infuriating? Think of all the customers you have ripped off. That's infuriating! When I "purchased" the SSD I did not get an order number or confirmation. That is why you don't know who I am. I filed a PayPal claim to protect my $253. Doing so locked up the funds before it reached you. Your people tried their best to get me to cancel the claim before you issued a refund. Do you think I'm stupid? All I wanted was a refund on an order you had canceled. PayPal has refunded my money when you would not. Your Reseller Rating is 4.11 out of 10. Something is very wrong.

"I was looking for an OCZ-Z650 power supply and noticed that these guys had it...but at a higher price than other retailers. I figured I'd give them a try so I emailed first to ask if there was any way they could match/beat their competitor's price. Doug messaged me back and told me to call, so I spoke with him over the phone. They had no problem matching the price AND they were able to extend a manufacturer's mail-in-rebate to me that was only posted on one other retailer's website. So I got the best price and a $20 rebate!
They shipped the order very quickly and never had to wait very long to hear back from Doug.

"This company is HOPELESS.
I ordered the product on the 30th of July '10, it is the 27th of August AND IT STILL HASN'T ARRIVED. They claimed a 2-3 day delivery service which is the SOLE reason why I made business with this company. Who know's when my item will arrive so I can't give a figure yet, but I would have paid 30$ extra to buy it from my local store if I knew their delivery service would be SO F'N HOPELESS. They are full of sh't. For your own good, DON'T purchase from them.

In addition to that, on their site, they said that they had the products IN STOCK. I found out 3 weeks later that, THEY WERE STILL WAITING TO RECEIVE FROM THEIR MANUFACTURER. Clearly, they do not value their customers and think that it is okay to make them wait extended periods of time. So far I have listed two faults. They should revise their claimed delivery service from 2-3 days to 4-5 weeks. If I had known that it would be this bad, I would NEVER made business with them. I have suffered from academic disadvantages due to my laptop requiring a new hard drive, I required the item within one week, I gave it a 2 day lenience on top of the 2-3 day delivery claim. Clearly I was wrong. DO NOT purchase from my digital discount unless you want to receive the product in about 1-2 months. Thirdly, customer service. What customer service? They didn't even inform me that delivery would be delayed. Constantly, you have to make emails to receive a response a week or two late. Simply disgusting.
