"I get all my bought herbs from Mountain Rose Herbs unless I have no other choice. I've found their herbs to be very potent. They are nicely packaged in thick bags. They are more upfront about things like "roasted" or "not-roasted" so I trust them more than other sellers. Their shipping time is always a little long, but when you take as much care as they do, that's to be expected. Wonderful company as far as I'm concerned. "

I like to store my dry ingredients in air tight jars and their labels peel off to provide a distinct look on my jars (❤️). "I really like MRH. Some people are complaining about slow shipping, but please remember that we are in the middle of COVID! I didn't think my order was too slow, given the conditions everyone is dealing with right now. I love the products they sent, which included herbal capsules, teas, and seeds. I don't know any other apothecary which sells seeds! I love gardening, which is how I got interested in herbs in the first place, so it's nice that I can get healing herbal seeds here. The teas are also amazing. For the first time in my life, I haven't found it difficult to walk away from the coke can and drink tea instead. Thanks MRH! Everything was nicely packaged and came with some useful bonus education pamphlets. Prices were low, so charging for shipping seems fair. Don't forget that higher priced places that ship for free still "charge" you for it. I also like their business philosophy which is obviously supported by a full team of professionals or it wouldn't run this smoothly. I have all good feels about buying from MRH :)"

"My first Mountain Rose Herbs order was due to the pandemic, when our local co-op closed its bulk herb department. MRH has great quality herbs, the website has lots of information, and although prep and shipping took a LONG time this spring, by my second order in the fall, they had it down, and I received a larger order of beautiful herbs much faster. They have risen to the challenges of this year and are doing a great job! I do wish they were available by phone for extended hours, but that's a minor issue compared to their superior quality in other respects. "

I really don't understand all the terrible reviews! I have made returns at MRH, emailed questions about re-stocking, and I always get a response. "We used Mountain Rose Herbs for the last few years. We noticed that starting in 2020, before the COVID-19 issues, shipments were taking much longer than usual, even when we paid for Priority Shipping. Since the COVID-19 issues, it has gotten to the point of being ridiculous. Email questions go unanswered for days, if at all. Shipping is taking a month or longer with Priority Shipping. While we understand the challenges of having to deal with the pandemic, customer service is all but lacking. For example: An order placed on April 21 still has not arrived and it's May 14th. We have switched to other suppliers who offer higher quality herbs at competitive prices, and we get the orders to our door in days. We will certainly never return to Mountain Rose Herbs"
