False Product Advertising

"Purchased 2 in 1 tablet/laptop from Best buy Marketplace, paid for it but what arrived at door was simple laptop, when I emailed Mike's Technology Corp ( Mike's computers) I was told that they don't carry the product I purchased from them online, that it was advertised in error?? Someone reaching out to me to state this BEFORE they sent me something totally different would have been a better customer service option. Something is wrong with just sending me a different product than I ordered and paid for, and then making me wait 5 days for a response to my inquiry to tell me that another 150.00$ would get me the product I want just different brand name....criminal. BUYER SHOULD BE VERY AWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY"

Don't use this seller!

"I wish that I had read the reviews on this seller before buying a brabd new coin sorter for my shop on amazon, It stopped working after the 10 time use and they didn't not respond for it, I paid almost 200 dollars for it with sunday donations, they are selling just bad quality stuff!"

BEWARE : Shipping DOA and won't issue refund

"Worst experience ever. Paid for a motherboard that shown up DOA. They accuse us and won't issue refund. Do not buy there, very weak customer experience and return policy is an absolute fraud."

Thier **** and out dated return policy is only surpassed by their completely unmotivated customer service

"When they screw up your order, you will need to follow thier process, wait for it to be completed before they send you the right part. god help you if it is over a weekend or in my case, a long weekend. the response was lack luster to say the least. dont expect service. the sale better be damn good for you to risk your order with them."

Knowledgeable and friendly staff

"Bought a 3900x recently from here since this was the only place that had them in stock. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Andrew was particularly knowledgeable and was able to help with any questions I had regarding my computer build. I also did a motherboard BIOS update at this store, which ended up being much cheaper compared to Canada Computers."

Horrible Customer Service

"I placed an order recently and the payment went through without any issue. So I went to check the status and it showed "Payment Verification" which is fine. I waited a couple of days and then got an email that my order was cancelled because verification failed. I entered my information exactly as it appears so it should not have failed. Now they raised the prices for the items I was going to purchase and are blocking me from ordering. This is a ridiculous way to keep customers! I was referred to Mike's because I heard great things but I will not deal with them again in the future. "

Third Party Reseller That Does Not Inform You!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

"This company advertised an item I wanted and I paid a significant cost to get it air shipped to me. Nowhere on the items page did it inform me it was being sold and shipped from another company called Synnex. My address was typo'd by someone and so the item sat in limbo in the St. John's Newfoundland Purolator depot unshippable. Called Purolator and they informed me I had to Synnex to get the address changed to have it shipped to me. Called Synnex and they informed me I had to contact Mike's to contact them to contact Purolator to change the address to get it shipped to me. Contact Mike's online chat and the infromed me that they would have to have the item shipped back to Ontario, be refunded, and then they could ship it to me. Meanwhile the item was an 8 MINUTE DRIVE AWAY FROM ME. Needless to say this was my first and very last time using Mike's. In the Amazon, Ebay, TigerDirect, Newegg day and age it's resellers like these with their hidden business method that will inevitably sell their customers something ONCE. Eventually being run out of business by their own deceptive practices.

HORRID SERVICE: Unskilled staff, 2+ Weeks Turn Around Time, Fautly, Non-Genuine Componts. STAY AWAY.

"Absolutely horrid customer service. Staff are not trained, make basically minimum wage, and couldn't care less about your personal property. Up-Sold services that were not needed, 2+ weeks to do a basic computer cleanup, not to mention using crappy, 3rd party components, not OEM quality, but claim they are. SAVE YOURSELF THE MISERY: Find a QUALITY local tech. These guys are ALL in it for the $$$, not the quality of service or technical knowledge."

Not great

"Should have read ratings here before.
Delivery with Purolator was problematic because of Purolator location and poor opening hours. They should pick another service such as the post office.
Bought a "like new" demo keyboard/mouse set but it came in with significant wear.
The bottom of the mouse was so worn out that I have not been using it.
It was supposed to be a demo but helpdesk said it was a return from a customer that did not use it.
They just tell us anything.
Customer support responded quickly but was not helpful in any way.
Not recommended. Will not buy from them again.
And then they wonder why we prefer Amazon...

Buy With Caution

"I will cut to the chase.
Phase 1
I purchased an MSI 34in ultra wide on Nov.21 and arrived on the 27th through mikescomputershop's eBay store. The monitor arrived defective (free sync flickering, crackling noise, random black lines, black screens, and strange greyish lines). Recorded videos, and wrote a detailed exchange request, it was accepted. But I asked specifically that I prefer an exchange, as stated on their policy " In the event that an item is defective or dead-on-arrival (DOA) ... The returned item will be tested, and once the defect or DOA state has been confirmed, a replacement unit will be shipped to the customer. In the event a replacement is not available, the order will be refunded." Unfortunately, never heard back from support email even though the monitor is still in stock. (Though it states on the website, support email is ready to reply within two hours. And there is no number you could call them with).

Phase 2
Received a reply from eBay, no exchange. Only refund because of eBay policy. Called eBay, informed me an exchange is totally an option. Contacted mikescomputershop again, replied, "as previously stated for all items sold on the eBay marketplace MCS is unable to provide an exchange."

Phase 3
Discussed this over the online chat support from mikescomputershop. Still, the exchange is not acceptable. UNLESS I purchase the monitor on their site again. I kindly told the support that's fine, but I shouldn't be the one the compensate the price difference ($32, eBay had a black Friday discount). Online support insisted I have to pay for it, and they won't give me a thirty dollar coupon to compensate that. Pay for more, that is the only way for me to get an exchange. I kindly asked if I could talk to the supervisor, the chat agent told me the only way is to send them a support email, but they will say to me the same.

Phase 4
Sent another detailed email regarding this situation to their support email few days ago. Again, never heard back from them.


I am a reasonable customer, this is the first time I have encountered with such an unreasonable situation. If you are gonna be a first-time customer like me and worrying about DOA. Good luck, you need it!

"Ordered an i5 8600k on 2018-10-06. It is now 2018-10-15. They havent even shipped it out yet. The item was in-stock when I ordered it. I have not received any notification / email that tells me otherwise. Unprofessional. Will not be ordering from them again."
