"My experience was phenomenal. We were in dire need of a new couch but with an infant son we were very worried about the health effects of new furniture. I am admittedly neurotic when it comes to health concerns, but a cursory google search gave me some solid justifications for my worries. I stumbled onto a website (gimmethegoodstuff.org) which listed Stem as a seller of organic and safe couches which did not contain fire retardants. Usually when I call and ask questions about VOC's and other health effects of products the sales people have no idea what I'm talking about, but not the case with Stem. These gals know there stuff, I talked with Laura and one other salesperson both of whom were amazing. They knew exactly what I was talking about, were extremely friendly, and put my mind at ease that I was getting the product that I needed. The fact is that I bought this couch because this company gets it. The website addresses all major concerns and is user friendly, the staff is knowledgable and truly looking to be helpful, and I am confident that when the couch arrives it will be great. A final note to demonstrate how exceptional the customer service. I picked an upgraded fabric based on the website picture, I was on the fence but figured based on what they told me it should work fine. Laura placed my order but insisted on sending me a fabric sample of the fabric I chose and a few others just to make sure I was happy with the final project. Nobody does this, the company I work for has made its name on customer service and I imagine this company will do the same."
