"I ordered two 60 degree rod holders from Marine Part Depot and they sent the only one 60 degree and one zero degree. After 4 attempts to contact them by email AND phone I have given up. I will be contacting the BBB. These guys should not be allowed to do business. I wish I'd read these other reviews prior to ordering. "

"Do not do business with these crooks!!! Sent numerous e-mails-no response. Tried calling and leaving message, no response. Tried calling many times- mailbox full. Never a response. Debited my account for the parts and never got them. Do not use these people. If you do; use a credit card so you will have a recourse. Best to shop elsewhere!!!!"

"Same experience as the others. Looks like nothing has changed since my experience in 2012. Ordered a particular pelican hook advertised as 1/4-28. It was metric, so I couldn't use it. Never returned my calls or email. HOWEVER, I used paypal. So I contacted them and got an immediate refund from MPD. They didn't even ask for the incorrect parts back. My advice, if you are going to use them, pay with paypal so you have someone on your side to get a refund."

"Simply put... they are a pack of thieves, placed an order Apr 26th for a stainless steel anchor and swivel... $140+ Haven't received anything , called numerous times, emailed... nothing.. Their prices may be cheap, but not worth anything if you don't receive them... If I was going to give money away, it would be to a charity, not a bunch of crooks!!!"

"I ordered 10 - 2"x2" SS Butt Hinges and they were shipped to me very quick and seemed to be good quality. The problem was that the hinges were not exactly 2"x 2" as advertised. I shipped them back exactly how their website explained how to the day after I received them for a refund and this cost me an additional $12.78 through USPS and they did receive them per tracking number. So here we are almost one month later and they will not answer any phone calls or E-mails and still no refund. There is absolutely zero customer service and even though their website claims 100% satisfaction or a full refund, I have not seen any refund as of yet. I will update if I ever receive my refund of $ 64.80 After seeing all the complaints in this company, I am not expecting it though. I have filed a complaint with the Buisness Consumer Alliance and will retract if I ever receive my refund. This company also uses the name Turquois, Inc. with the same address. Something is not right about this company. Do your home work before you order from this company.

UPDATE, I called this company on Sunday morning 5/17 and someone answered the phone. They did not say a company name just hello. They asked for my order number and said they would refund my money. They sent me an email saying sorry it took so long and that they would credit my account. My refund was in my account today on 5/19

"Ordered from these folks even though they have some scratch that a lot of negative reviews. Most of them seem to be around lack of communication after an order is placed. My thoughts were at these awesome prices I'll take what they send and fill in any gaps in the order locally. Took them less than a week to fill and send 100% of my order. "

"Amen, I also ordered parts and received an email thru PayPal on a refund for half my order which I need now. Of course I have no idea which half of my order I was refunded. So it's anybodies guess which part they may be sending or when. Hard to contact, have not received any word from them. Now I'm going to have to order a duplicate from someone else. Buyer beware."

"Terrible - no, I take that back - ZERO customer service! I have left two voicemails and two emails. I ordered 10 pieces I really needed, and since was ordering, I went ahead and got 10 other pieces that I really didn't need right away, but would in the future. So, guess, what... I got ONE of the pieces I really needed and all 10 of the ones I didn't really need. The long and the short is that I only got 1 part I needed. If I had known how terrible they are with customer service, I would not have spent the other $150 for the other parts. The good side is that they did credit the "out-of stock" amount of purchase back to my paypal account. All I want to know is why they didn't (and would they please) just put the other 9 parts I need on back order for me when they come in, which the packing slips said would be restocked on 11/25/14. I placed the order when the parts were on sale, and want the remaining 9 pieces that I ordered, for the sale price advertised. Feels like a bait-and-switch job to me.

"I placed the following order :

2 - New Stainless Steel Cleat 4"

1 - Stainless Steel Open Base Cleat 5"

2 - Stainless Steel Bow Skene Chock

2 - New 316 Stainless Steel Quick Link 2-1/2"

The cleats are undersized. They may be 4" & 5" long as advertised but they are very skinny and frankly would look stupid on a boat unless it were a sea flea.

I ordered two 2 1/2" quick links, they sent me a pair of 2" and again they were undersized and smaller than what I ordered.

I ordered a pair of bow skene chocks to route my bow lines. They sent me a pair of port side chocks. Yes two port side, not one port and one starboard.

I sent them numerous emails to advise that I wanted one port and one starboard chock and larger quick links that I ordered.

I also left many voice mails as no one ever answers the phone. There is absolutely no customer service...ZERO. No return emails or voice mails.

There is a return protocol that you must follow which is to send an email with your order number in the subject box along with the goods.
So, finally I left a message saying that if they do not respond to give me the correct parts that I ordered, that I would be returning the entire order for a refund.

They did not respond so I returned everything and also advised them that I did. I tracked the parcel and it was received.

They did not refund my money after many emails and voice mails. These people are idiots!! I cannot understand how in this day and age that a scamming company like this can continue doing business on the internet when they chance poor reviews like this.

I can see that I should have perhaps taken a number as there are so many of us who were scammed by them. Their days are numbered as a business.

"This company is TROUBLE! They advertise that they will take returns without an RMA. I purchased a SS turnbuckle that was the wrong size. I mailed it back for a credit. After 5 emails and 3 calls (they will never pick-up), they have not credited my Discover Acc. I filed a complaint with Discover, but have not received a credit. They are a scam company!"

"This place sucks. My marina recieved 1 out of 4 orders we placed. There is NO communication with this place Got my money back threw Ebay. If u use there coupon that comes in your shippment,your screwed. Read feedback on Ebay, don't go by the big % number. I will never order from this place again and Ebay should think of there customers and ban this company. There is NO customer service and no contact."
