Worst buying experience of my life

"I bought a complete engine for my boat and it as told by their salesmen that it was a drop in replacement for my 87 EBBTIDE OMC. After 5 months and now with more money into a flywheel, bell housing and coupler I was told all the parts are for a Mercruiser and NOT an OMC equipped boat. As of today they have literally blocked my phone # and will not return any emails. I’m now stuck with over 6k in new parts that I can’t use OR I replace my OMC outdrive with a Mercruiser one to fit the wrong parts they sent me, that’s over 5k. Don’t buy from them! DON’T"

Lens on Whaler bow light discolored

"I purchased about $150 worth of hardware, including a bow light. I wrote to them on email to see if they would send a good one and left two voicemails. No response. I was happy with most of the order but didn’t realize the bad customer service until the marine patrol brought the discolored lens to my attention. I ended up purchasing from another source. I agree with the reviews I have read and would not use this company again. "

RIPPED OFF...THEY GOT ME, TOO!!

"Sad that so many people have been ripped off by Marine Part Depot, but I should have done my homework. I ordered several stainless parts that were not delivered, was billed fully for my order the day it was placed and have been calling and emailing MPD without any response or success. When I started reading the reviews, I realized I had been duped by Marine Part Depot in some way, shape or form. My suspicion is that it is a Chinese based company with a USA Phone number and warehouse in California that is essentially without any personnel to answer phones or deal with customers. I took the advice of one of the other 'victims' of MPD and called my credit card company to 'open a dispute' file and hold payment from MPD. They said if they were not able to resolve the issue within 30 days that they would refund my money and withdraw the payment that was made to MPD. The credit card customer service person said this is very common with online businesses and, despite losing some money, probably only 1 in 50 people actually call the credit card company to open a dispute and get their money back. More to follow, but hopefully it all works out. I learned my lesson and won't be back to Marine Part Depot anytime in this lifetime!! "

rip off

"Marine part depot.com : ordered 4 deck hinges from marine Part Depot on 6/15/2017. They confirmed my order and charged my credit card. The order# they gave isn't any good. then I received an e-mail from their
shipping outfit "TURQUOIS INC. Marine Part Depot with USPS Tracking Number that when you plug the number
in for tracking it has a date of 6/22/2017 with a status of "PRE-SHIPMENT INFO SENT TO USPS AWAITING ITEM.
I sent e-mail to the shipping dept but the mail doesn't go through. I call the Marine Part Deport and I get is the answering service. I left my name order # name , address ,phone number at least three times. I have e-mailed
Marine Part Depot three times. No e-mail reply nor any call backs.

Very poor experience

"I ordered 2 rod holders on 3/24/2017. My visa was charged immediately for the holders. As of 4/4/2017 they still haven't shipped the order. They do not answer the phone or my e mails. 11 days and I still have no idea if or when I will receive what I paid for. Pitiful way to do business. I will be reporting the issue to my card company and see what happens. "

Never Again.

"Just got my order and all items looked good, only one problem. the Stainless Boston Whaler Navigation Light came with a under size Bi-Color lens and it looks used.
Can you please send Me a replacement the correct size, looks like the bottom  needs to be about 1- 5/8"( A.S.A.P.) so the light can be installed.

Ok, I send three or four e-mails and no one got back to me or send the correct lens.
I will be getting with Pay-Pal and let them know about all of this CRAP so I get my money back.
After all the Items I got so far this one will be the last one.

Do NOT order from this company!!!

"I ordered products first of July 2016, they promptly charged my credit card and sent the products. I was unable to use the product for my application and returned the items prior to the end of July per their return policy. Returned Priority Mail with required receipt signature. Items were received and signed for by there front desk. It is now almost the end of October and I have yet to receive a refund nor a credit to my CC account. Have tried calling, no answer, left messages, no response. Sent emails, no response. Never have I had this type of experience with any online purchase previously. Stay away from this company and I think Yahoo and Amazon and any other online purchasing agent should discontinue doing business with Marine Part Depot. By the way I will also contact Amazon and Yahoo and any other affiliate that does business with them and will share my story."

Wish I Would Have Read These First!

"I ordered several parts from these guys in January. The antenna mount had the wrong threads and the two rod holders had weak welds where the deck mount connects to the tube so I packed them up and shipped them back. I tracked it and they were delivered and received to the front desk on 2/12. I have yet to see any reimbursement nor have they responded to my multiple emails and phone calls. The fax line does not work as well. NEVER ORDER FROM THESE GUYS AGAIN! "

How to deal with Marine Part Depot....

"Here is my experience with these folks.
Ordered 4 pelican hooks and 2 chain grabbers. I received my full order, parts looked wonderful but the thread size was not proper as advertised. i called and called and e-mailed 4 times.
I finally disputed the entire purchase since it was bought as one transaction Visa will not dispute partial orders.
Long and short of this....i received all my money back and still have the parts. How they can stay in business like this is beyond me. BUT, who cares? If they want to give away free parts who am I to complain?
I tried doing the right thing but I will NOT return parts and pay postage for their screw-up.
If more people did this maybe it will get their attention and they will communicate which I agree is ZERO. This could be a great company....the parts look good, prices are fair and usually they get them out quickly but they have a serious management issue.

"I ordered two stainless out-rodder rod holders. The order was shipped and received promptly. The rod holders were of high quality and were exactly as represented on there web site. BUT, the way they were prepared for shipment was terrible. The two polished stainless rod holders were crammed into a USPS priority mail plastic envelope with no wrapping to protect them from grinding against each other. They were both badly scratched. I have sent two emails to Marine Part Depot advising them what had happened. They have not responded as of yet.

Despite their product was of excellent quality, I will not order from them again.
