"I ordered a Radeon 9500 128MB OEM last weekend and I talked with the rep on the phone to make sure I will get the red PBC one with the L shape memory lined up, as advertised on their site. It took them 3 days to actually ship it and when I finally got it, its new black version. This place also shipped my A7N8X Deluxe a month late. There are only a handful of people answering phone calls, so its a pain trying to reach them. They also never reply or even try to clear the mailbox messages. The ordering, RMA and shipping departments are not at all coordinated and make mistakes all the time. The price is cheap, but you get what you pay for service."

"Takes them about 3 days to process the orders but i have patient....then when I receive the my tracking number they send the package to my brother's house instead of my house (i guess for security purpose since there was two different address they chose the billing address) the company seemed unorganized and they need new staff. Calling them...and sometimes e-maiing them seems impossible. more to come when i recive my order (i am tracking it now)"

"Inadvertantly purchased the P4 Soyo Platinum. I contacted the company and completed the online RMA. It took about 4 days to get the RMA number back. I shipped the board back via overnight mail on 2/20/03. They signed for the package on 2/21/03. I have not heard a word since. Cannot contact them via phone as the voice mailboxes are all full and no one answers the phone. E-mail was returned as bad address. I tried leaving message with Auditing department voice mail with no response. I sent message 2x via feedback form on their website. Again, no response. Contact BBB."

"Ok I thought buymstar was well priced. So I though sure I'll try them out. Even though I read that there CS sucked I thought big deal I should need to deal with CS so I ordered. I was tired when I ordered and I miss-spelled my address. So I have to call CS to change it there is no place to change it in your profile after you make one. I called and no one answers, and mail box is full. I tried every ext. they had all were full no one ever picked up. Next day I try I have the same porblem but some mail boxes weren't full so I left a message in them all. Finally on the last ext I called someone picked up'ed the phone. Thanks god I was able to to get it changed and it was shiped out without any delays. I get the package one motherboard work one doesn't. So I call them up...surprise I got though and I was told I'm sorry you hve to do all RMA stuff on the web site. kinda mad I said ok. I went to the web site filled out a RMA request. I've never heard from them it's been almost a month. Not to worry I say the hell with waiting and call the motherboard manufacture. Asus say ok no problem send it in and we'll send you another one. I did and I have a new motherboard that works fine. So if Mstar sends you the right thing and it is working there great. But if you have to deal with any other part of them, watch out.
May the buyer be ware.

"Order was shipped promptly. Their company did have the best products for the price. They were lowest cost per unit and they had no charge for shipping. "What I purchased and whom I got it from.

I placed all these orders on the night of February 19. All 5 companies sent immediate follow up emails. I received shipping info and order numbers from all the company’s the next day. 2-20-2003. Here’s a summary of what happened.
1. Bananapc.com showed up the next Tuesday in perfect shape and worked flawlessly.
2. Color Cases shipped on the next Thursday, I realized that there were no power supplies. Emailed the company and they are on 2-3 week backorder. I’m in the process of canceling the power supplies and buying them from somewhere else. Curiously after 2 emails and several messages no one is calling me back. I’ll keep trying and keep you updated. I can understand backorder, but not showing it on the website is poor.
3. buyxg.com showed up on Wed. in perfect working order. I love this card!
4. maximpc.com drives showed up flawlessly, the next Wed.
5. buymstar.com showed up on Friday which was a little later than I would have liked but without a power supply, no real point in being upset. I realized that the harddrive had a shipping charge on it, which shouldn’t have been. I spent about 3 days trying to call a full mailbox and sending emails which went unanswered. I finally got someone on the phone and he was nice enough to take care of it. Overall, not too bad.

I recommend all of these companies, the only thing I regret is ColorCases doesn’t let you know what is in stock and what is not. I have an 80 dollar power supply in my case right now which is going straight back to best buy as soon as mine comes in, so no real lost time. I just hope I can keep them from shipping the power supplies, but since I can’t get a hold of them I’ll never know. I hope this helps someone!

"buymstar.com has let me down several times. Order placed on 2/26/03 using visa and online ordering both items in stock. Visa payment went through on 2/28/03. Items were not shipped until 3/4/03. Called several times and was promised items would go out that day and they never went out.

Item was damaged and had to be returned. Used online RMA form (only thing they except is online RMA's). RMA's only good for 15 days! I selected the option to have a new item sent to me in 24 hours while my RMA was on its way to them. RMA 5610 was placed on 3/6/03 (same day items arrived) and as of today 3/11/03 no replacement item has been sent. I have called over 30 times at different times and can not get anyone on the phone. The voice mail system is full and will not take anymore messages. I have email and faxed with no replies. I will seek legal action after today.

"I purchased two (that's 2!!!) 60GB ATA133 Maxtor hard drives and they only shipped me one. Over the period of 4 business days, I've left them 2 emails, 2 v/m, I've talked to somebody at the company once, and I've filled out their online RMA form as I was told to do by the employee (I still don't understand this). I still have yet to hear a single thing back from the company about them shipping me the other drive. They are providing horrible customer service and are completely unresponsive. As of today, I've actually gone to my credit card company and disputed the charge as the company has been no help. They put me in a bad position as this is the last item I'm waiting for to finish my system. I don't think that I have ever been more disappointed with an online retailer. Stay away from this retailer like plague."
