"I purchasd two items from this company and only received one of them. There was only one tracking number for it. It arrived 2 days later than expected and it was short one Item. After Called the 1800 number and the long distance number and just getting voice mail box it full for three days, I finally got ahold of someone and she appologized for my motherboard not being shipped out. She said that I would be in the mail that evening and that I would get an email with a FedEx tracking number. It is now two days later and I have not received that email with the tracking number. My recommendation is to NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Pay a few bucks more and get your stuff through a more reliable company. I has not problems getting my other stuff throught NewEgg.com or Googlegear.com. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. They need to be blacklisted from Pricewatch.com!!!! "

"I placed the order on 3/13. Received email stating it had shipped 3/14. Got my tracking number... Paced impatiently waiting for my video card to arrive. FedEx tracking never updated. I have spent two days attempting to contact the company, to no avail. I also got the "This mailbox is full..." message that so many others have gotten. Finally called FedEx, they chased down the Tracking Number - only to tell me that it never shipped. MStar printed the shipping label, but it was never given to FedEx to ship/deliver.
I will never purchase from this company again, and I will make sure that anyone who asks knows not to buy from them either. "

I have to give props to Buymstar. Although I did call their 800 number and like everyone else, got a full mailbox, I really had no reason to call since my order was handled very quickly and very efficiently. "DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS !! They never answer their 800 number and the voice mailboxes are always full. It is next to impossible to cancel an order and customer service is non-existant. My order has been in a pending state for three days. I will buy from NewEgg next time. I'm glad I found out about resellerratings so I do not make the same mistake again !!"
"I also tried to cancel an order within the first hour as noted by others. The link didn't work. I tried email, called the 800 #. and their direct number to no avail (full mailboxes, no humans). Then I received the WRONG product! Now I'm waiting on their online RMA (filed on the 13th) to send back the item. If I had know about this place ahead of time, I woukd not have purchased from them"
"I will not use Mstar again due to the following events:
6 March – Placed order on website
10 March – Checked website to get tracking number to discover order was pending and I needed to call them. I tried all day to contact someone there. I left several messages. It would have been nice if they called me to tell me of an error. They had my cell and work number from the order. At least send an email to notify that there is a problem with the order.
11 March – Persisted to call and finally reached someone. They corrected the order and told me that the order would go out that night or the next day.
14 March – When package did not arrive I checked website to discover that the order was still pending! Tried calling Mstar and was not able to get anyone until almost the close of business. They checked the order to inform me it was processed and that the order would be shipping that night. I received the tracking number on phone.
16 March – Checked Fedex.com to discover the estimated delivery date is 18 March. This is a 4 day delivery and is two days longer then they posted on their website.
18 March – Package was delivered at 3pm today that included the parts I had order. The total time from day of purchase was 12 days. This should have been a most a 4 to 5 day turnaround.
Although Mstar had low prices I will not use this company again due to the length of time to process order, the inability to talk to someone when I called, and the lack of clear communication."

"Ordered a license-only (No CD) version of Windows XP Home. Later realized that I had given the wrong billing address and called them to correct it -- nobody would answer, even during their business hours. Furthermore all their voicemail boxes were full, so it's impossible to even leave a message. Called back later the same day and got through to a live person -- and made the mistake of going ahead with giving them the correct billing address. Several days have past since then, and now when I check the order status it says that the item is out of stock. No email confirmation of order, no notice of being out of stock, lousy customer support access. Would NEVER do business with these guys again."
"I didn't seem to have the issues the other raters had. Not to say it couldn't happen but you have to take these rating sites with a grain of salt since most people motivated enough to use them are either VERY unhappy or VERY happy. I'm neither.
