"Horrible company, I would NEVER deal with them again.

In addition to the pushy salespeople requiring a phone call to "confirm the order" which is really a ploy to try and sell overprices accessories, they shipped me a product (digital camera) that was DEAD on arrival. I had to waste money shipping it back to them for a refund and then they refused to credit me for the shipping I paid THEM to mail me a dead camera.

The lesson learned here is to spend a little more money buying from reputable businesses.

"I purchased a Sony Vaio TR2AP3 over the Internet from Electrodiscounts aka Marine Park. I received an email asking to call thei 800# to discuss the order. In retrospect, I feel like this request was a ploy to give them an opportunity to sell me the extended warranty. Like a fool, I allowed myself to be talked into the buying a 3-year extended warranty for $399.99 - something I don't normally do for electronics that tend to be obsolete so quickly. The saleperson convinced me becaseu he said the screen was the most expensive part of the laptop, and it would be covered for damange and replaced. That alone would pay for the cost of the warranty. BUYER BEWARE! When the laptop arrived, I did not read the warranty. RAther, I assumed what I was told was over the telephone was the same as the written warranty. $700 later, I learned that was not the case. And, when I tried to dispute the change, the Manager (David Water was the name he gave me) as much as told me I was at fault because his staff does not make mistakes like this, and I had the responsibility to read the warranty and request a refund immediately upon receipt of the paperwork if I didn't agree with the coverage. While that may be true, I feel the company has an obligation to take responsibility for what their representatives say to customers, rather than assuming the customer doesn't know what he or she is talking about. THis is a company I will never do business with again, and adivse all others to be aware of the liberties they take when selling over the telephone. I would recommend tape recording (with their knowledge) any representations they make over the telephone, and be prepared to fight if they don't honor their committment. The manager was not the least bit interested in finding any way to satisfy my concern. He felt it was entirely my fault, and didn't worry about after sales service.

"I ordered my product to be shipped overnight. It was a HP H1945 Pocket PC. The process was painless and the item came in on time.

In fact, the Pocket PC didn't have a stylus, which it was suppossed to, so I called in, and they overnight shipped me a single stylus!

"The overall purchase experience was satisfactory. I ordered an Olyumpus Stylus 300 USA model and received exactly what I ordered. The only down side was the "necessary" hpone call to confirm my order. It was really to try to sell me more accessories. It was a little annoying but I still got what I ordered at the price I ordered."

Better to pay a little extra, and get it from amazon.com or someone else who will back up their sales. "I am sorry about the bad experience of some reviewers here, mine was good. I ordered a Sony camcorder (DCR-H40) from MP Superstore. The rep (Fred) was courteous, he did offer accessories to buys along with the camera but was not at all pushy when I declined. The price was among the lowest on the Internet ($530; it's $699 at a brick&mortar store). It was also important to me to receive it within a few days, and most other stores could not guarantee fast processing and delivery. MP Superstore processed my order the same afternoon and shipped it the following day, as promised. This was after I was almost ripped off and yelled at at RadioActiveDeals (NEVER buy from those), so in comparison this experience was great. "

"Believe their bad rating. I've been very patient with these folks and they have tried to sell me more than I wanted and it's going on 3 weeks and I still do not have a usable camera. I ordered a refurbished Olympus C-5060 on 06-07-04 and when it was delivered it was missing a strap and the monitor and the flash settings didn't work correctly. Since then I've made 10 phone calls to their customer service department and one of their managers and I received an exchange camera without the battery, charger, and 6 other parts that were suppose to come with the camera. These people have pretty much lied to me since I have dealt with them. Do your self a favor and take your business else where. I believe I'm am going to call Visa a dispute their charge and return what I have and take my business elsewhere. Like I said I've been very patient with these people and I've got unusable camera and a bunch of lies and hassle to show for it."

"Ordered a Canon digital camara, extra battery, and a MagicStor Plus 2.2GB Microdrive. Paid for overnite shipping. The next day the package arrived. However the MagicStore drive was not in package and listed as backordered. After several emails, was told that it would be shipped "next week" still have not seen it. Once a week, I have sent email only to be told, "We regret any inconvenience or delay you are experiencing. Apparently, we are waiting for it to arrive from our warehouse. Please advise if you need to make other arrangements." The last email I sent I asked about a alternate item of the same price. That email was ignored. Now I just want the price of the item back. NO I will not shop this store again. "

"I ordered the digital camera from MPsuperstore and asked Mr. Tom R. specifically if the camera is in stock, and he told me "yes, of course." When he tried to sell me more accessories, I declined stating this camera is for a gift.

My credit has been charged, and this morning I got a call saying the camera is suddenly out of stock, and they have to charge my credit card before they can find out if the camera is in stock.

I'm contacting the BBB (not sure what good that'll do) and gonna let everyone know to stay away! Very bad business ethics!

"MP Superstore (aka Marine Park) is absolute the worse to conduct business with. I ordered a sony Vaio Tr2 but they shipped the wrong item. They never reimbursed me for the cost of sending the wrong item back to them, a mistake that they clearly made. When I complained and asked for reimbursement, they said "what do you expect? You still got a good deal." Clearly, this company has no idea about customer satisfaction. Buyer beware !!!! These guys are dishonest and do not deserve your hard earned money. Look elsewhere for your purchase. You won't regret it. Learn from my mistake."
