"Through some research, Lubery has been out of business for almost a year. They sold off their stores in Long Beach CA. The owner left for TX over a year ago to go into real estate and a fullfilment house had been fullfilling their orders. I had to do a chargeback to get my money back. I should have stuck with their bigget competitor. "

"My partner & I placed an order on 3/14/08, after using lubery.com for several years. Our credit card was charged on 3/17/08 by a company titled JS Holdings, LLC in Texas but no product was shipped. As others have noted, the website is down & the 866/432-4022 # is disconnected. I just emailed Mr Stapleton at ****@**** for a refund. If it doesn't show, I'll be disputing it with our bank & filing a complaint with the BBB in Texas, not to mention contacting the CA & TX regulatory agencies where his RE licenses are held."

"I placed an order with Lubery.com on the 13th of Feb, 2008. It is now the 25th. I went to the website to track my order, BUT GUESS WHAT ... website is DOWN!!! Attempted to call them, BUT GUESS WHAT ... phone number is disconnected. Lovely. What a great business. I have filed claims with Wells Fargo, expressing my great upset and they "will look into it". Doesn't it seem ODD that their website would be "down" and the phones disconnected?! They sure took my money, though. No product to show for it, however. What a great way to run a business. I think it's called FRAUD, isn't it?"

"I have had the same issues as everyoen else - being charged for a product they don't have, bad customer services. My last order they over-charged me. I received 75% of my order (one item they didn't carry apparently, though I was never notified). The itemized order total was different than what they charged me. They overcharged! I have contact information for Jack Stapleton in case anyone else would like to get their money back. ***-***-**** or ***-***-**** He is a real estate agent in Austin, TX. now. This is the man though. I received an e-mail from him through his website www.jackstapleton.com, and his fax number listed is the same as it is for lubery/On-Click. Lubery.com should be taken down immediately. I think the business addresses listed for lubery are fakes as well. Google maps has the street view now for the addresses I've seen. DO NOT BUY FROM LUBERY WHATEVER YOU DO."

"I've bought items from Lubery for several years, but my most recent order a couple of weeks ago was packed very inappropriately in a huge USPS cardboard box with ONE crumpled piece of paper for packing, which meant the two bottles broke their seals and leaked all over the inside of the box. I emailed them immediately, and got no response. I just tried to call them today on the phone number listed on the invoice [I've been out of town since the day I received the damaged shipment] and got a recording saying the number had been disconnected. I'll have to pursue getting my money back through my credit card, but this is not OK. Buy from them at your own risk."

"Worst online retail experience ever. I paid for 3-5 day delivery but my credit card wasn't charged until over a week later and the order NEVER shipped. Lubery.com never responded to multiple emails or phone calls. I had to cancel my credit card and file a fraud claim with my bank. Weeks later when I managed to reach Jack Stapleton (owner), he was rude, condescending and ultimately deleted my account (and blocked my email address) without any sort of apology. What made things worse is that I was a return customer for several years. The California Better Business Bureau Online rates Lubery.com an "F" - something I wish I had known earlier. Avoid Lubery.com at all costs."

"I ordered a product, they sent it to me but billed me 4 times. I called and emailed over 14 times but they ignored every attempt.( I even went out of my way to be nice even though I was extremely ticked off). They're website shows that my account was refunded but it never happened. It's about $100 they owe me. It's bad enough to owe a customer a refund for this long, but to ignore me?n Ludicrous. Stay away from Lubery.com and tell all your friends.

"Like the previous reviewer, I had ordered from the Lubery before with no problem. This time, I was charged but have never received the product. No response to emails. Once I get my credit card statement I'll have the charges reversed.

Bottom line: This merchant can no longer be trusted.

"Like other commenters, I had previously ordered from lubery.com without any problems. I was surprised then when my credit card was charged and the product was never shipped. I had similar experiences of no responses to emails and hearing their recorded message about "moving to a bigger facility" and then they never came back. Looks like this place has turned into a dud. Don't spend your money here, you'll regret it. In the end I had to call my credit card company to reverse the charges. Oh, and check out their better business rating. It's all bad.

UPDATE: After receiving an email from the company touting it's "impressive changes" and how it has moved from Southern California to Texas which will allow it to be more competitive and beef up its customer service staff. It said they would be back in business after the first of the year. So I called today and somebody actually picked up the phone. I was put on hold and then disconnected. Sigh. I called back and got the same person. I said that I wanted a credit for my items that had never been shipped and was told that one would be issued. I'll be watching my credit card activity to see if it actually happens, but at least there's a live person still behind the site. If you've had any trouble with an order I'd call them and get your money back. Their new number listed on the web site is: ***-***-****

UPDATE 2: Well, I'll be damned. I checked my credit card web site today and the credit actually appeared. I STRONGLY urge people that had been shafted by this company to call them and request a credit for products that you haven't received.

"I have ordered from Lubery.com before and had no problem with the service, however this time I cannot express how dissatisfied I am with Lubery's "award winning customer service."

On 30-Oct-2006 I ordered items which have never been delivered nor shipped. The order tracking system on the website shows the order as paid, but never shipped.

I have made good-faith efforts to contact Lubery via every e-mail address I could find, two phone numbers, web-site order status inquiry form, and "live" chat. None of these efforts have ever been met with a reply of any sort from Lubery.

I am amazed at my fellow reviewers since some actually got in touch with a person. I have not even gotten that far.

The only reason I have been so patient is I was foolish enough to believe that the patronizing message on the customer service line was genuine. I was duped when the date on the recording changed from 6-Nov to 15-Dec as the expected date when phone service would be restored.

I have been forced to finally contact my credit card company and have the charges reversed.

Please, do yourself a favor if you're reading this review before ordering and do not order from this merchant. You run a serious risk of not getting what you ordered.

The products I ordered are readily available at any number of other web merchants for the same or lower prices. You do not have to order from Lubery.

"Avoid like the plague! Ordered my item and then finally got a hold of them 3 days later and asked why it hasn't shipped and do I get free shipping like their policy says. Well I was told I would not get free shipping and that the item was discontinued and "we would have to substitute another item" to get it shipped today. This is after they already charged my credit card which is illigial if the item is not in stock. So I said how about this item. He said no that item is $6 dollars more and "the system" wouldn't let him substitute it. Keep in mind I'm chatting with "Jack" who I believe is Jack Stapleton the owner of the company, yet apparently "the System" runs the store and he can't over ride it. Next he tries to substitute an item that is $8 less than the item that is out of stock. I said no cancel my order and give me a refund. He thens starts to ramble on about how he goes about ordering so and so items and how he doesn't keep these items in stock he has a guy go buy the items as they are ordered and my item has been discontinued. I said I don't want to hear it and cancel my order. He responds by saying "YAY" and ending the chat immediately. Now I can't get a hold of the company at all, my account has been disabled, chat doesn't work, emails not returned, and phone support "unavailable until they move to new warehouse".
Looks like I'm getting ripped off because I made the owner mad. I have filed a report with the BBB and have contacted my credit card company about this.

"All lies!! I canceled the order two days after you claimed it was going to ship and then you ship it the next day after I told you it was too late to ship it. Four weeks from the day they processed my credit card for $175 and until they shipped it. It’s against the law to charge a credit card when you don’t have the product to ship.

As far as returning your products; I would ask your employee named “Hood”. He signed for it. In case you lost the tracking number as well, it is 1ZYY65030147112872. Check the UPS tracking number you emailed me. You guys are totally not with it. Even now you don’t even have your story straight. After waiting three weeks for a refund from the date you received the unaccepted package, I took matters into my own hands and Bank of America back-charged it to you after their four week investigation.

I seriously doubt you ship 60,000 packages last year. That’s nearly 164 packages a day every day of the year. I doubt it.

Lubery is slicker than a politician. Watch your wallet. Lubery will leave you high and dry. I still say….run very far away from this company!!
