Delivery experience is a disaster

"Ordered an item shown as "in stock" on their website. Scheduled a delivery date for Dec 3. Got an email on Dec 2 saying it was delayed until Dec 7. Got an email on Dec 6 saying it was delayed until Dec 10. Got an email on Dec 9 saying it was delayed until Dec 13 (which is a Sunday so ... what?). Got an email on Dec 12 saying it was delayed until Dec 16. Finally decided to call and the person answering the delivery said they are out of stock. Lowe's LIES."

Customer service is non-existent in lowes

"this has to be the 3rd or 4th time Lowes has let me down, and once they finish my last paid for project this will be the last time I ever deal with this store, I paid for and had an appointment with a LOWES PRO (that's a laugh) to measure a sink and a exhaust fan for kitchen this was confirmed (by a phone call and 3 emails mind you) and several hours after their so called window fo an hour and a half, NO ONE HAS SHOWN UP, NO ONE CALLED TO CANCEL OR EXPLAIN, and trying to call them just gets you hung up on time and time again,"

"I had curbside pick up. Great service but the guy still tried to get me to go into the store myself. After telling him of my health problems he got the exact items I needed and I was on my way.
Hard to reach anyone on the telephone. They very seldom answer.

Truck Delivery and Store pickup are both horrible

"I tried to order something and have them delivered by truck. It did not warn me that truck is not available at the beginning. Instead, it shows truck not available only at the final check out step. I wasted me quite some time trying a few times.

Then I choose store pickup. I choose the store that closest to me and items seem available. The order went ok and I got email for me to pickup. Luckily I was careful and I found the pickup store is about 10 more miles away. Also only two of the 3 items are available. I will have to pickup twice.

I called the 800 custom service, she cannot do store to store transfer. Either I have to go far to pick up or cancel. She said she can see items in the sore nearest to me. I called the store. It says, it means they don't have it, that is why my pickup store has been changed. Very frustrating and very disappointing.

Making payments for a fence that isn't installed

"We entered into a contract for a pool fence that was supposed to have been installed 2 months ago. The materials arrived promptly but the installation team came and went twice, ... and haven't appeared since. Nobody will call us with an install date. They won't return calls or emails.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
In the meantime, they are already charging us full price and they -of course- expect payment per contract stipulations.
Save your TIME and go elsewhere. I totally regret having signed that contract.

Defective refrigerator

"Bought a Whirlpool French door fridge In August, 2016, purchased 5 year extended warranty! 1 1/2 years after purchase, unit has been serviced 6 times, with upper ice maker being replaced! Could not get service, so I filed a complaint with BBB, Lowe’s finally offered to refund purchase price! Said would send a refund check, but sent a Lowe’s gift card, good only at Lowe’s! I purchased a new one from a competitor, will never do business with them again! Notified BBB that refund was a Lowe’s gift card and that I was very displeased since new refrigerator cost me $1000 more than I paid for other one!!!

They don't pick up the phone

"What a shame. Been shopping at Lowes for years and never had an issue until now. Ordered a Gas range and microwave and just wanted to get them installed. Tried calling multiple times to speak with someone and they pick up, transfer me and then no one ever picks up. Drove to the Anaheim store at 4pm and the installation guys had gone home already. Such a waste of my time in so many ways. So **** off and annoyed. Definitely won't be buying appliances there again if I can find them somewhere else. "

Foreign language manuals, incompetent staff

"Upon receiving a garage door opener from Lowes via an online order and discovering the installation manual was in French instead of English, I called Lowes customer service. Customer service representative exhausted options on her end and ended up telling me to download the manuals on Lowes website in English. However, at this point the item was not showing up on Lowes website. She couldn't find the item, I couldn't find the item, both of us searching using Lowes item number and manufacturer model number. She transferred me to someone else who was even less helpful than her. This is utter incompetence! Now, I am stuck dealing with the problem myself."

"Worst service that I have ever had . I ordered online for a pick up service to save a little time and when they emailed me that my order was ready I went in. Well the rude as heck lady that worked there told me that I had to wait for the customer who was just before to pick his own order before I could helped. So as I stood there for 15 mins watching 5 employees standing there talking another employee comes over and brings 2 customers with him and over takes the register and just starts helping them . I had to raise hell with customer service just to get my order. It was never pulled and I offered to do it myself but they no because the guy just started pulling it. Anyway it took 45 minutes in the store to get my order that was supposedly pulled already. Lowe’s is the worst "

If I could give Lowes in Bartonsville PA a lower review than a 1 Star i would.

"If I could give Lowes in Bartonsville in PA a lower review than a 1 Star i would. They do not care about their customers what so ever. Nema the store manager “according to her” is in capable of helping. I Am building my deck out of composite materials. I ordered everything online. I followed up several times because The status online after the first week said ether “order received” or “in process”. I was assured everything was received and ready to ship except for the galvanized pieces. They were on back order. I totally understand that. So i made sure I rented the auger and made sure the holes were drilled. That way when the concrete came in we can start immediately. Only two things arrived. A umbrella and my four cushions. Awesome. The delivery dates for the big material came and nothing showed. I called Lowes and spoke to customer service. She told me the concrete was suppose to come on the 29th (it was the 28th when I called). Great it’s still coming. When I asked about the composite decking, railing and privacy fencing for the deck they told me it was ordered but to see when it was suppose to come I would have to call the manufacturer. So I called the manufacturer. They told me the only thing ordered was the privacy fencing. They have no record of anything else. Before I was able to ask when the fencing would arrive she told me that the fencing was already canceled by Lowes but there was no notes. So of course I was upset. I called Lowes back and like always there are no managers available. So I asked again if the concrete was coming on the 29th (the next day) because that was the most important part because we already dug the holes. She assured me it was coming. 29th came and no concrete. 30th came and no concrete. Today, July 1st still no concrete. I call up the specific Lowes that was supposed to be delivering it and they told me that it was on the truck ready to go and somebody name Christine from the Lowes in Bartonsville canceled it and they took it off the truck. I am beyond furious now. I called back the Bartonsville Lowes and they had no idea why it was canceled. I told them that instead of me redoing my entire order online I wanted to work with someone who would make sure the order was done right and I would receive my order. I didn’t want another two weeks to go by and they would cancel my stuff again. I finally get the “manager of the store” Nema. She tells me that She will get me someone who can order my stuff online and she will personally make sure I get a delivery date. I tell her OK that’s great is there anyway I can get the concrete sooner. She tells me no it could take at least two weeks. I explain to her that I already had holes dug and I need a concrete sooner. She tells me there’s nothing she can do to help me. So I ask her, since there isn’t anything you can do to help me get the concrete sooner can you please financially help me out because this is a huge inconvenience and pushes my deck project farther into the hot summer. She told me she could give me a 5% discount. I then asked her if that is 5% on top of the military discount I was getting. She told me absolutely not. It’s one or the other. I had to choose and there was nothing else she could do. She refused to call another store to see if I could get it sooner, she refused to give me a truck for free so I could pick it up my self (67 80lb bags) She wouldn’t do anything. She was extremely unprofessional and rude. She even hung up on me in the end. I am disgusted with what is happening. I will be calling Lowes customer service to see if there is anything I can do. If they won’t do anything I will make sure I never shop there again. I also will make sure I share this story everywhere I can. It is disgusting what they are doing."

Never again

"Ordered a ladder online, 2 weeks after, no order pick up email. Just an email saying my order was delayed.
Called customer service, waited for 1hour and they told me to call the store
Called the store and nobody answered. Tried a dozen of times.
Called back customer service, waited in line for another hour and asked for my order to be cancelled.
2 weeks after they finally canceled it.
Horrible experience on my first purchase. Never going back to Lowe's.
Purchased the same ladder on home depot, got the order pick up email on next morning.

HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

"My Fiance and I ordered appliances on our credit card and they charged us twice. I called and they said it was a pending charge and it would fall off after the pending delivery was completed. However, this prevented me from being able to pay my other bills that were due that day, plus the customer service agent on the phone lacked in customer service skills and was of not much help. There should be no need for a consumer to have to provide security for a large corporation on a "pending delivery order". Disappointed in Lowes. I was going to buy cabinets from Lowes and my refrigerator for the rest of my kitchen remodel, however now I am now steering towards a different company like Home Depot. Who actually cares about their consumers. Lowes should do better and not overcharge for a delivery order. The total was 2,400 btw and was charged 6,000. Unacceptable."

unreliable liars

"That's only about Lowe's Wilkes Barre, PA location. On May,26 I placed an order well over $2000 for delivery
of items for bathrooms renovation, including range and refrigerator. Everything was paid for and scheduled for delivery on 06/24/2020.Order confirmation assured the any changes, delays of delivery will be
emailed/ called. On 06/23/2020 night I checked order status and it said scheduled for delivery on 06/24/2020.
In the morning on 06/24/2020 truck driver called us and said the delivery isn't going to happen ,as some items are out of stock .No new delivery date was set, nobody called/emailed about delivery cancelation and rescheduling.
JUST DISGUSTING ! If review would accept 0 stars or minus, I'd give that.

Never order appliances from them. Worst ever

"I waited for months for my appliances. They then called for the delivery and they never showed up. Then you call them and wait hours and get hung up on. Then they call you to delivery again and never show up again. You call and call and nobody knows whats going on. I waited for days and took off work. I am totally disgusted with there professionalism and service. Don't order from them you will waste your time. This is my second time still waiting on the rest of the order and had the same experience so its not a coincidence its a fact its a poorly run company and they don't know what they are doing. Don't order from them you will waste time and money"
